False Rails: Average width of 5 Metres from 1600 Metres to 1000 Metres, 8 Metres from 1000 Metres to the winning post.

1st Race: 126. The Royal Tern Plate - Div.II - (About) 1200 Metres. Horses rated 20 to 45, 4 years old and over (9 Runners).

Permission was granted to Trainer Mr. Darius Byramji to withdraw BOUDICCA on veterinary grounds as it was found to be suffering from colic. He was informed that he must produce a Fitness Certificate from the Club's Veterinary Officer before accepting with it again.

BOLD NATURE (P. Kiran Rai) jumped awkwardly outwards and inconvenienced ICECREAM (Suraj Narredu) on its outside soon after jumping out of the starting gates.

Jockey M. Noornabi, the rider of ISLE OF FIRE, reported that he lost his whip approaching the 150 Metres.

Routine Sample was taken for analysis from the winner b m BRIGADE'S SUPREME.

2nd Race: 127. The Divine Light Plate - (About) 1100 Metres. Bangalore based Maiden Indian Horses 3 years old only (Horses who have run at least thrice but not placed second, third or fourth even once ineligible (Terms) (7 Runners).

Permission was granted to Trainer Mr. Arjun Mangalorkar to withdraw STORMER on veterinary grounds as it was found to be lame on right fore due to sprained tendon. He was informed that he must produce a Fitness Certificate from the Club's Veterinary Officer before accepting with it again.

Jockey S. Selvaraj, the rider of WOODBERG, was reprimanded for not maintaining a straight course in the final 200 Metres of the race.

Jockey P.S. Chouhan, the rider of SCORCHING VULCAN, reported that his mount was lugging in under pressure in the final 100 Metres of the race.

Jockey V.R. Jagadeesh, the rider of JOLIE, reported that his mount was hanging out throughout the race. The horse was impounded for veterinary examination but no abnormality was reported. However Trainer Mr. Neil Darashah was informed to take appropriate corrective measures before accepting with it again.

JOLIE (V.R. Jagadeesh) sustained cut injury on right hock.

Routine Sample was taken for analysis from the winner b f STROMBOLITE.

3rd Race: 128. The Endorsement Plate -(About) 1200 Metres.
Horses rated 00 to 25 (12 Runners).

CORLEONE (Mohammed Shoaib) was slowly away and lost few lengths at the start. In view of its behaviour Trainer Mr. J.S. Pillay was informed that he must not accept with it again until its behaviour improved to the satisfaction of the Stipendiary Stewards in one jump out on a starting gate practice day.

Jockey D. Patel, the rider of EMPHATIC VICTORY, was fined Rs.1,000/- for travelling wide between the 800 Metres till about rounding the final bend for no apparent reason.

BALANCE OF NATURE (P. Kiran Rai) sustained a cut injury on left hind cannon.

ROYAL ROMARIO (M. Rajesh Kumar) sustained cut injury on right hind pastern.

4th Race: 129. The Justice P Medapa Memorial Cup - (About) 1400 Metres. Horses rated 40 to 65 (10 Runners).

RESURGENT (Neeraj Rawal) was extremely fractious and refused to be stalled. Under the circumstances it was permitted to be withdrawn before coming under Starter's orders.

ACTIVE GREY (B.Harish) jumped awkwardly inwards and inconvenienced SUTTON PRINCE (D. Gnaneshwar) on its inside soon after jumping out of the starting gates.

TOO COLD TO HOLD (Irvan Singh) jumped awkwardly inwards and inconvenienced APPLEJACK (Mudassar Nazar) on its inside soon after jumping out of the starting gates.

Jockey A. Ashok Kumar, the rider of OPEN PAGE, reported that he could not get a clear run passing the 300 Metres due to a closely packed field.

It was reported after the race that SUTTON PRINCE (D.Gnaneshwar) burst its blood vessels. Trainer Mr. Mahmood Khan was informed that he must produce a Fitness Certificate from the Club's Veterinary Officer before accepting with it again.

5th Race: 130. The Maharaja's Cup - (Grade II) - (About) 2200 Metres. For 4 and 5 years old and over (9 Runners).

Compulsory Samples were taken for analysis from the I, II & III placed horses viz.

Trainer Mr. P. Shroff and Jockey S. Zervan were questioned regarding the running and riding of HEMISPHERE. The Trainer stated that (a) this horse so far has won only one race over a distance of 1400 Metres; (b) Subsequently it has been running in Classic races; (c) In his opinion he always had a doubt about its staying capacity; (d) therefore after discussing with the Jockey S. Zervan as to the strategy to be adopted in the race. He had specifically instructed the rider to preserve it as much as he could and ride out in the last 200 Metres; The rider fully followed the riding instructions and that it was bad luck that he narrowly lost the race. The rider when questioned corroborated the statement of the trainer and added that the moment OCEAN AND BEYOND came to his quarters he rode his mount vigorously in the last 200 Metres; while noting their explanations Jockey Zervan was cautioned to be more judicious in the handling of his mounts in future.

6th Race: 131. The Young Rajput Plate - (About) 1200 Metres. Horses rated 20 to 45 (12 Runners).

PRINCE ACADEMY (B. Sreekanth) jumped awkwardly inwards and inconvenienced YOURESCINTILATING (G. Adarsh) on its inside soon after jumping out of the starting gates.

Jockey Shanth Kumar, the rider of SUMELA, was reprimanded for shifting in and inconveniencing PRINCE ACADEMY (B. Sreekanth) on his inside approaching the 300 Metres.

YOURESCINTILATING (G. Adarsh) sustained a cut injury on right hock.

ONE OF A KIND (A. Ashok Kumar) sustained a cut injury on left fore cannon.

An enquiry is being held into the running and riding of PACIFIC BLUE trained by Mr. Amit Caddy and ridden by Jockey A. Ramu.

Surprise Sample was taken for analysis from b f PACIFIC BLUE.

Routine Sample was taken for analysis from the winner b g ROCK WITH U.

7th Race: 132. The N.M. Lingaraju Memorial Trophy - (About) 1800 Metres. Horses rated 40 to 65, 4 years old and over (9 Runners).

Jockey D.K Ashish, the rider of STRIVE AND SERVE, reported that he could not get a clear run approaching the 400 Metres due to a closely packed field.

Jockey Arshad Alam, the rider of COWBOY CAL, reported that he lost his whip passing the 350 Metres.

Jockey P.S. Chouhan, the rider of SAGANAKI, reported that his mount was not galloping fluently throughout the race. The horse was impounded for veterinary examination and the Club's Veterinary Officer reported that the horse was suffering from exhaustion and it was immediately treated for the same.

Jockey Arshad Alam, the rider of COWBOY CAL, reported that his mount was hanging out throughout the race. The horse was impounded for veterinary examination but no abnormality was reported. However Trainer Mr. Samar Singh was informed to take appropriate corrective measures before accepting with it again.

8th Race: 133. The Royal Tern Plate - Div.I - (About) 1200 Metres. Horses rated 20 to 45, 4 years old and over (10 Runners).

ANFIELD (Arshad Alam) was extremely fractious, reared up & fell on its back and was stuck in the gates for a considerable period of time and on an immediate examination by the Club's Veterinary Officer it was found to have sustained injury on withers. Under the circumstances it was permitted to be withdrawn on veterinary grounds before coming under Starter's orders. Trainer Mr. Pradeep Annaiah was informed that he must produce a Fitness Certificate from the Club's Veterinary Officer before accepting with it again.

ABBAS DREAMS (M. Rajesh Kumar) took a fly jump.

SILVER STONE (Indrajeet Singh) planted and lost many lengths at the start. In view of its behaviour trainer Mr. V. Lokanath was informed that he must not accept with it again until its behaviour improved to the satisfaction of the Stipendiary Stewards in one Mock Race on a race day on the race track.

Jockey Vinod Shinde, the rider of MAGNETIC POWER, reported that he could not get a clear run approaching the 800 Metres due to a closely packed field.

Routine Sample was taken for analysis from the winner b g SMITHSONITE.
