1st Race: 196. The Lively Emprey Plate Div.II- (About) 1400 Metres. Horses rated 20 to 45, 5 years old and over (9 Runners).
HILLINGDON (Anjar Alam) reared up as the gates opened and sat back for a considerable period of time, lost many lengths at the start and ran detached thereafter. In view of its behaviour Trainer Mr. Irfan Ghatala was informed that he must not accept with it again until its behaviour improved to the satisfaction of the Stipendiary Stewards in one Mock Race on a race day on the race track.
Jockey Babu Singh, the rider of BOUNTY HUNTER, reported that his saddle shifted back rounding the final bend. After due examination of the equipment, Trainer Mr. Amit Caddy was fined Rs.3,000/- for faulty saddling.
Jockey Babu Singh, the rider of BOUNTY HUNTER, reported that he lost his whip approaching the 200 Metres.
It was reported after the race that HILLINGDON (Anjar Alam) burst its blood vessels. Trainer Mr. Irfan Ghatala was informed that he must produce a Fitness Certificate from the Club's Veterinary Officer before accepting with it again.

2nd Race: 197. The Santorini Star Plate - (About) 1600 Metres.
For Horses rated 40 to 65, 4 years old and over (8 Runners).
Jockey Y.S. Srinath, the rider of CHIRON, was fined Rs.2,000/- for coming in and causing interference to ARRABIAN GOLD (A. Imran Khan) on his inside approaching the 900 Metres.
SUPREME (Arshad Alam) sustained cut injury on left knee.

3rd Race: 198. The Ministrella Trophy - (About) 1100 Metres. Bangalore based Maiden Indian horses 3 years old only (Horses who have run at least thrice but not placed second, third or fourth even once ineligible) (Terms) (11 Runners).
FEET ON FIRE (Suraj Narredu) jumped awkwardly outwards and inconvenienced PRAZSKY (P.S. Chouhan) on its outside soon after jumping out of the starting gates.
RAJ GURU (Mohammed Shoaib) after jumping out, swerved towards left and did not raise a fluent gallop and ran detached from the field. In view of its behaviour Trainer Mr. S.S. Attaollahi (deputizing for Trainer Mr. J.S. Dhariwal) was informed that he must not accept with it again until its behaviour improved to the satisfaction of the Stipendiary Stewards in one Mock Race on a race day on the race track.
MAN OF VISION (Neeraj Rawal) sustained cut injuries on both hind fetlock.
EMANCIPATION (Fr'co F DaSilva) sustained cut injury on right hock and cannon.

4th Race: 199. The Maj. Newton Davis Memorial Cup - (About) 1200 Metres. Horses rated 40 to 65 (12 Runners).
Jockey Indrajeet Singh, the rider of SANS FRONTIERES, was fined Rs.1,000/- for shifting out and taking out SALZBURG (P.S. Chouhan) on his outside rounding the final bend.
Jockey Suraj Narredu, the rider of SUPER START, reported that his mount ran out passing the 900 Metres despite his efforts to keep it on an even course. Trainer Mr. S. Narredu was informed to take appropriate corrective measures before accepting with it again.
Jockey John, was questioned regarding the handling of his mount AYRTON in the presence of Trainer Mr. Arjun Mangalorkar in the above race. The rider stated that (a) he took a good jump and his mount took little time to warm up; (b) As he started accelerating passing the 900 Metres Suraj Narredu on SUPER START from inside suddenly swerved out thereby taking him out; (c) Therefore he was committed to run on the outside of the field; (d) Little later even the horse on the inside viz. SALZBURG (P.S. Chouhan) started coming out, he had no option but to travel on its outside passing the 600 Metres; and (e) Under the circumstances he did his best in riding out his mount but could finish only Second. The trainer while corroborating the statement of the rider added that under the circumstances he would give the benefit of doubt to Jockey S. John at this instance. While noting their explanations Jockey john was cautioned to be more judicious in the handling of his mount in future.
SUPER START (Suraj Narredu) sustained a cut injury on left hind fetlock.

5th Race: 200. The V.T. Velu Memorial Cup -(About) 1400
Metres. Horses rated 80 and above (8 Runners).
As Jockey Vivek, the declared rider of STATE SECRET, was certified medically unfit to ride after his ride in the 3rd race, permission was granted to Trainer Mr. S. Padmanabhan to substitute Jockey Ryan Marshall to ride STATE SECRET in place of the declared rider.
It was reported after the race that the left fore shoe of MATHS BABY (Mohammed Shoaib) had apparently come off during the race.

6th Race: 201. The Mystic Memory Plate - (About) 1400 Metres. Maiden Indian horses 3 years old only (Horses who have run at least thrice but not placed second, third or fourth even once ineligible) (Terms) (15 Runners).
Jockey B. Sreekanth, the rider of SOUTHERN EMPEROR, was fined Rs.2,000/- for shifting out and taking out KING OF THE COURT (Imran Chisty) on his outside rounding the final bend.
Jockey Ahsan Qureshi, the rider of ACE BADRAAN, reported that he could not get a clear run passing the 250 Metres due to a closely packed field.
Jockey P.S. Chouhan, the rider of ARTIC ATTRACTION, was fined Rs.1,000/- for coming in and causing interference to KOLAVERI DI (Fr'co F DaSilva) on his inside passing the 200 Metres.
Jockey Fr'co F DaSilva, the rider of KOLAVERI DI, was reprimanded for shifting out and inconveniencing VIKTOR (S. John) on his outside passing the 150 Metres.
Jockey S. John, the rider of VIKTOR, was reprimanded for shifting out and inconveniencing CASTLE STUART (Y.S. Srinath) on his outside passing the 150 Metres.

7th Race: 202. The Azhar Plate - (About) 1200 Metres. Horses rated 00 to 25 (12 Runners).

Jockey M. Prabhakaranan, the rider of THE GUARDIAN, was reprimanded for shifting out and inconveniencing SARATOGA SPRING (Suraj Narredu) on his outside rounding the final bend.
BLUE STAR (Imran Chisty) sustained a cut injury on left hind fetlock.
A GAME TO REMEMBER (P. Kiran Rai) sustained a cut injury on left hind cannon.
