1st Race : 9. The Ministerial Trophy - Div.II - (About) 1200 Metres. Maiden Indian horses 3 years old only (Horses who have run at least thrice but not placed second, third or fourth even once ineligible) - (Terms) (8 Runners)
Jockey D. Gnaneshwar, the declared rider of RARE AND ELLUSIVE was fined Rs.2,000/- for not drawing the declared weight at the scales in the above race. Subsequently permission was granted to Trainer Mr. B. Prithviraj to substitute Jockey Arshad Alam to ride RARE AND ELLUSIVE in place of Jockey D. Gnaneshwar, the declared rider.
Jockey J.H. Christopher, the rider of REPUBLICAN STAR, reported that his mount was running green throughout the race.
DANCING LAURIE (A. Ashok Kumar) sustained cut injury on left nostril.
MYSTICAL SHADOW (P. Kiran Rai) sustained gum injury.
RARE AND ELLUSIVE (Arshad Alam) sustained cut injury on right hind cannon.

2nd Race: 10. The Romantic Dancer Plate - Div.II - (About) 1200 Metres. Bangalore based Horses rated 20 to 45 (9 Runners)
MY FAVOURITE VOICE (B. Mahesh) jumped awkwardly outwards and inconvenienced the horses on his outside viz. CELESTIAL STORM (Vivek) and CZAR RULE (T.S. Jodha) soon after jumping out of the starting gates.
CELESTIAL STORM (Vivek) sustained cut injury on right fore bulb of heel.
Routine Sample was taken for analysis from the winner b c MAJOR ATTRACTION.
3rd Race: 11. The Ascot Plate - (About) 1400 Metres. Horses rated 00 to 25, 4 years old and over (12 Runners)
Jockey P. Kiran Rai, the rider of NOBLE REWARD, was fined Rs.1,000/- for cutting across the field passing the 1200 Metres.
Jockey Anjar Alam, the rider of FIOROLOCO, reported that his saddle shifted back completely passing the 900 Metres as such he could not offer any assistance to his mount thereafter. After due examination of the equipment Trainer Mr. Faraz Arshad was fined Rs.3,000/- for his negligence.
Jockey P. Kiran Rai, the rider of NOBLE REWARD, was fined Rs.1,000/- for shifting in and causing interference to ORIENTAL IMAGE (D. Gnaneshwar) on his inside passing the 300 Metres.
Jockey S. John, the rider of ABBA, reported that he lost his whip passing the 250 Metres.

Jockey Y.S. Srinath, the rider of ASTRUM, was fined Rs.1,000/- for shifting in and causing interference to LITTLE BROWN JUG (Imran Chisty) on his inside approaching the 1000 Metres.
Jockey N. Ganesh, the rider of CARBONADO, was fined Rs.2,000/- for shifting in and causing interference to LITTLE BROWN JUG (Imran Chisty) on his inside approaching the 300 Metres.
Jockey P. Kiran Rai, the rider of FOREST QUEEN, weighed in 600 Grams less in relation to weighing out. On the behest of the Stipendiary Stewards, the Stewards held an enquiry immediately after the race and examined Mr. Maruthi Naik, Clerk of the Scales and the rider. After deliberations, in terms of Rule No.180 of the BTC Rules of Racing they decided to disqualify FOREST QUEEN (P Kiran Rai) from the above race and the revised order of placing are as under:

5th Race: 13. The Dupont Plate - (About) 1600 Metres. Horses rated 40 to 65, 4 years old and over (9 Runners)
Jockey V.R. Jagadeesh, the rider of CINCH, was fined Rs.1,000/- for coming in and causing interference to HIGHRAZ (J.H. Christopher) on his inside approaching the 300 Metres.
Jockey Imran Chisty, the rider of MANNAT was fined Rs.1,000/- for the excessive use of the whip on his mount during the race (1st infringement).
Routine Sample was taken for analysis from the winner ch f SCARLET O'HARA.
6th Race: 14. The Nanoli Stud Juvenile Million (Grade II) - (About) 1400 Metres. For 3-year-old Indian horses (foaled in 2011) (Terms) (12 Runners)
CELTIC PRINCE (Keanen G Steyn) dropped the rider on the way to the Starting Gates and ran riderless. The horse was examined at the starting gates by the Club's Veterinary Officer and was found to have sustained bleeding cut injuries on left fore pastern and right hind pastern. Under the circumstances it was permitted to be withdrawn on veterinary grounds before coming under Starter's orders. Trainer Mr. Altamash Ahmed was informed that he must produce a fitness certificate from the Club's Veterinary Officer before accepting with it again.

7th Race: 15. The Dharmaprakasha L.S. Venkaji Rao Memorial Cup - (About) 1200 Metres. Horses rated 60 and above (12 Runners)
APOLLO KING (Arshad Alam) planted, lost many lengths at the start, did not raise a fluent gallop and ran detached thereafter. In view of its behaviour Trainer Mr. Samar Singh was informed that he must not accept with it again until its behaviour improved to the satisfaction of the Stipendiary Stewards in Two Mock Races on race days on the race track.
VALERIAN (P.S. Chouhan) planted, lost many lengths at the start and ran detached thereafter. In view of its behaviour Trainer Mr. J.S. Dhariwal was informed that he must not accept with it again until its behaviour improved to the satisfaction of the Stipendiary Stewards in one Mock Race on a race day on the race track.
Jockey Kiran Naidu, the rider of SUPER START, was reprimanded for not maintaining a proper course approaching the 900 Metres.
Surprise Sample was taken for analysis from b g VALERIAN.
Routine Sample was taken for analysis from the winner ch g IM DIFFERENT.
8th Race: 16. The Poonawalla Stud Plate - (About) 1400 Metres. Horses rated 40 to 65 (11 Runners)
Permission was granted to Trainer Mr. Sharat Kumar to withdraw STARSTRUCK (N. Ramesh Kumar) on veterinary grounds as it was found to be suffering from fever. He was informed that he must produce a Fitness Certificate from the Club's Veterinary Officer before accepting with it again.

9th Race: 17. The Romantic Dancer Plate - Div.I- (About) 1200 Metres. Bangalore based horses rated 20 to 45 (9 Runners)
Jockey B Mahesh, the rider of GO GREEN was reprimanded for travelling wide between the 900 Metres till rounding the final bend for no apparent reason.
Jockey Srinivas Rao B, the rider of VIVA DIVA was reprimanded for travelling wide after entering the straight for no apparent reason.

146. The Flashing Star Plate - Div.I - (About) 1400 Metres. Horses rated 20 to 45, 5 years old and over
The Stipendiary Stewards reported Trainer Mr. V. Narayana Gowda, for the contravention of Rule No.114(b)(i) of the BTC Rules of Racing in respect of his charge SUNDAY CRUZ in the above race and also Jockey C. Harish, the rider of SUNDAY CRUZ to the Stewards for Unsatisfactory Riding (Rule No.161(ii) of the BTC Rules of Racing). The Stewards held an enquiry on Wednesday, 30th April 2014 and examined Mr. Ashok Raghavan, the spokesman for Trainer Mr. Narayana Gowda, the trainer himself and Jockey C. Harish. After deliberations, the Stewards decided to (a) fine Trainer Mr. V. Narayana Gowda a sum of Rs.20,000/- for the contravention of Rule No.114(b)(i) of the BTC Rules of Racing in respect of his charge SUNDAY CRUZ in the above race and (b) should the Jockey's licence be granted to Jockey C. Harish, for the season 2014-15 the same shall remain suspended from 1-6-2014 to 12-7-2014 (both days inclusive) for Unsatisfactory Riding (Rule No.161(ii) of the BTC Rules of Racing) on his mount SUNDAY CRUZ in the above race (permitted to ride work).

The Stipendiary Stewards reported Jockey Md. Feroz, the rider of GAME DANCER to the Stewards for Incompetent Riding (Rule No.161(ii) of the BTC Rules of Racing). The Stewards held an enquiry on Wednesday, 30th April 2014 and examined trainer Mr. Warren Singh and Jockey Md. Feroz. After deliberations, the Stewards decided to (a) note the explanations tendered by Trainer Mr. Warren Singh; and (b) should the Jockey's licence be granted to Jockey Md. Feroz, for the season 2014-15 the same shall remain suspended from 17-5-2014 to 18-5-2014 (both days inclusive) for Incompetent Riding (Rule No.161(ii) of the BTC Rules of Racing) on his mount GAME DANCER in the above race (permitted to ride work).

The Stipendiary Stewards reported Jockey P. Mani, the rider of AUSSIE JACK to the Stewards for Unsatisfactory Riding (Rule No.161(ii) of the BTC Rules of Racing). The Stewards held an enquiry on Wednesday, 30th April 2014 and examined trainer Mr. Warren Singh and Jockey P. Mani. After deliberations, the Stewards decided to (a) severely caution Trainer Mr. Warren Singh as to the future running of his charges; and (b) should the Jockey's licence be granted to Jockey P. Mani, for the season 2014-15 the same shall remain suspended from 17-5-2014 to 1-6-2014 (both days inclusive) for Unsatisfactory Riding (Rule No.161(ii) of the BTC Rules of Racing) on his mount AUSSIE JACK in the above race (permitted to ride work).

An enquiry was held into the running and riding of ROCK WITH US trained by Mr. S. Dominic and ridden by M. Noornabi in the above race. After due enquiry it was decided to (a) note the explanations tendered by Trainer Mr. S. Dominic; and (b) fine Jockey M. Noornabi, a sum of Rs.5,000/- for not making sufficient effort on his mount ROCK WITH US in the above race.

The Stipendiary Stewards reported Trainer Mr. V. Narayana Gowda for the inconsistent pattern of running and the relatively improved performance resulting in the reversal of form of his charge PROM QUEEN (Dashrat Singh), the winner of the above race as compared to its run in race No.205, The Classic Story Plate-(About) 1400 Metres, Horses rated 20 to 45, 5 years old and over of the Bangalore Winter Meeting 2013-14 run on 21st February when ridden by Jockey G. Adarsh it ran unplaced. The Stewards held an enquiry on Wednesday, 30th April 2014 and examined trainer Mr. V. Narayana Gowda. After deliberations, the Stewards decided that should the Trainer's licence be granted to Trainer Mr. Narayana Gowda, for the season 2014-15, the same shall remain suspended from 17-5-2014 to 31-5-2014 (both days inclusive) and also fine him a sum of Rs.10,000/- for the inconsistent pattern of running resulting in the reversal of form in respect of his charge PROM QUEEN (Dashrat Singh) the winner of the race as compared to its run in race No.205, The Classic Story Plate-(About) 1400 Metres, Horses rated 20 to 45, 5 years old and over of the Bangalore Winter Meeting 2013-14 run on 21st February when ridden by Jockey G. Adarsh it ran unplaced.

Jockey Y S Srinath, the rider of GREY CONNECTION was fined Rs.5,000/- for shifting out and causing severe interference to SUPREME (Suraj Narredu) on his outside which in turn passed it onto ATLAS POWER (J H Christopher) in the final stages of the race.

COMPULSORY SAMPLING
The Stewards of the Bangalore Turf Club Ltd., at their Meeting held on Monday, 19th May 2014 considered the enquiry report submitted by the Stipendiary Stewards pertaining to the detection of prohibited substance Nandrolone & Estranediol (prohibited substances) in the urine sample taken from b f SUEZY OH late SUE NEVELL trained by Mr. V. Lokanath during compulsory sampling on its arrival in BTC premises on 15-2-2014. They examined Trainer Mr. V. Lokanath. After deliberations, they decided as follows:
(a) Suspend the Trainer's Licence granted to Trainer Mr. V. Lokanath with effect from 2-6-2014 to 1-7-2014 (both days inclusive) and fine him a sum of Rs.15,000/- for his gross negligence in the discharge of his duties as a trainer pertaining to the non submission of required information as to the details of treatment given to the said horse while during spelling;
(b) That the said filly shall be tested for the said prohibited substance and only to be entered to run under BTC Rules of Racing after it returns clear for theprohibited substance;
(c) The trainer should obtain the complete details of the treatment given to this horse at the stud farm during its stay at the stud farm and submit the same to the office and should there be any discrepancy found, this enquiry will be reopened;
