1st Race: 26. The Santa Anita Park Plate - Div. II - (About) 1200 Metres. Horses rated 00 to 25, 5 years old and over (9 Runners)
Permission was granted to trainer Mr. Faraz Arshad to withdraw IMMACULATE (Neeraj Rawal) from the above race.
MAGNANIMOUS (Arshad Alam) was slowly away, lost a few lengths at the start and refused to raise a fluent gallop for first 150 Metres. In view of its behaviour Trainer Mr. Faraz Arshad was informed that he must not accept with it again until its behaviour improved to the satisfaction of the Stipendiary Stewards in one Mock Race on a race day on the race track.
MAGNANIMOUS (Arshad Alam) was impounded for veterinary examination. On examination the Club's Veterinary Officer reported that there was no abnormality.
Jockey J.H. Christopher was questioned regarding the handling of his mount ENCOURAGER in the above race. The Jockey stated that he was asked to ride in a forward position which he did till about 250 Metres. Subsequently his mount was not galloping fluently despite his best efforts.
Surprise Sample was taken for analysis from b g ENCOURAGER.
Routine Sample was taken for analysis from the winner b m CATCH THE EYE.
2nd Race : 27. The Mauritius Pearl Plate - Div.II- (About) 1200 Metres. For horses rated 20 to 45 (8 Runners)
Permission was granted to Trainer Mr. Sharat Kumar to withdraw TIGER EYES on veterinary grounds as it was found to be suffering from acute colic. He was informed that he must produce a Fitness Certificate from the Club's Veterinary Officer before accepting with it again.
HIDDEN STAR (Deep Shanker) was examined at the staring gates by the Club's
Veterinary Officer and was found to be trotting lame on left fore. Under the
circumstances it was permitted to be withdrawn on veterinary grounds before
coming under Starter's Orders. Trainer Mr. V Lokanath was informed that he must
produce a fitness certificate from the Club's Veterinary Officer before
accepting with it again.
CROWN EMPEROR (Shobhan Babu) planted and did not take any part in the race. In view of its behaviour Trainer Mr. G.Nityanand was informed that he must not accept with it again until its behaviour improved to the satisfaction of the Stipendiary Stewards in one Mock Race on a race day on the race track.

3rd Race: 28. The Moonlight Romance Trophy - (About) 1400 Metres. Maiden Indian horses 3 years old only (Horses who have run at least thrice but not placed second, third or fourth even once ineligible) - (Terms) (12 Runners)
Trainer Mr. S.S.F. Hassan was fined Rs.5000/- for the discrepancy in shoeing in respect of his charge KHOSHGEL (M Mark) in the above race (1st infringement).
CANDICE (Ryan Marshall) was fractious inside the gates.
Jockey R. Anand, the rider of NAGARJUNA, was reprimanded for shifting out and bumping SUPREME DOMINATOR (Suraj Narredu) on his outside which in turn rebounded on to YOURE ASHWASHAKTHI (P.S. Chouhan) on his inside passing the 600 Metres.
Jockey Suraj Narredu, the rider of SUPREME DOMINATOR, placed II by the Judge objected against Jockey Y.S. Srinath, placed I for "the winner continuously drifted out from the 300 Metres taking my ground and bumping me twice whereby my horse lost its momentum which cost me a certain race." The Stewards held an enquiry immediately after the race and examined the Jockeys concerned. After deliberations they decided to overrule the objection.

4th Race: 29. The Santa Anita Park Plate - Div. I - (About) 1200 Metres. Horses rated 00 to 25, 5 years old and over (9 Runners)
YOURE GORGEOUS (D. Patel) was slowly away and lost a few lengths at the start. In view of its behaviour Trainer Mr. Pradeep Annaiah was informed that he must not accept with it again until its behaviour improved to the satisfaction of the Stipendiary Stewards in one jump out on a starting gate practice day.
Jockey Arshad Alam, the rider of TIC TAC TOE, was reprimanded for shifting in and bumping ICEPICK WILLIE (Akshay Kumar) on his inside passing the 1000 Metres.
Jockey Indrajeet Singh, the rider of RAAGA, was reprimanded for shifting in and inconveniencing SIMRA (P. Kiran Rai) on his inside passing the 900 Metres.
Jockey Indrajeet Singh, the rider of RAAGA, was fined Rs.1,000/- for shifting out and causing interference to SIMRA (P. Kiran Rai) on his outside passing the 600 Metres.

5th Race: 30. The Baraloy Plate -(About) 1400 Metres. Horses rated 20 to 45, 5 years old and over (11 Runners)
BLIZZARD OF OZ (Imran Chisty) was examined by the Club's Veterinary Officer before the race at 15.16 p.m. On examination the Club's Veterinary Officer reported that it was not in a fit state to run as it was walking lame on right fore. Hence permission was granted to Trainer Mr. Darius R Byramji to withdraw BLIZZARD OF OZ on veterinary grounds. He was informed that he must produce a Fitness Certificate from the Club's Veterinary Officer before accepting with it again.
Jockey Chetan Kalay S, the rider of VOLANS reported that the bit on his horse shifted completely towards the left side of the jaw as such he had considerable difficulty in handling his mount throughout the race.
An enquiry is being held into the running and riding of HATCHET HARRY trained by Mr. Amit Caddy and ridden by Jockey K Raja Rao in the above race.

6th Race: 31. The Chief Minister's Cup - (Grade III) (About) 1200 Metres. For 4 years old and over (Terms) (8 Runners).
ANCIENT WONDER (B Mahesh) was examined at the staring gates by the Club's Veterinary Officer and was found to have sustained bleeding cut injury on right hind cannon. Under the circumstances it was permitted to be withdrawn on veterinary grounds before coming under Starter's Orders. Trainer Mr. Samar Singh (deputizing for Mr. Patrick Quinn) was informed that he must produce a Fitness Certificate from the Club's Veterinary Officer before accepting with it again.
Jockey S John, the rider of SHIVALIK STAR was fined Rs.2,000/- for coming in and causing interference to LIGHT OF SUCCESS (Imran Chisty) on his inside whereby JERSEY SHORE (J H Christopher) which was travelling directly behind the later had to be checked by its rider approaching 700 Metres.
Jockey Vivek, the rider of WHISPERING GALLERY, reported that his mount was hanging in throughout the race and he had considerable difficulty in keeping his mount on an even course to ride her out in the straight. Trainer Mr. S Britto was informed to take appropriate corrective measures before accepting with it again.
WHISPERING GALLERY (Vivek) sustained cut injury on right hind cannon.
LIGHT OF SUCCESS (Imran Chisty) sustained cut injury on left fore pastern.

7th Race : 32. The Usha Stud Plate - (About) 1400 Metres. Horses rated 40 to 65, 4 years old and over (12 Runners),
As Jockey M Noornabi, the declared rider of SAMARA SUN was certified medically unfit to ride after his ride in the 4th race. Permission was granted to trainer Mr. J S Dhariwal to substitute Jockey Saddam Hussain to ride SAMARA SUN in place of Jockey M Noornabi, the declared rider.
AYRTON (Suraj Narredu) was slowly away and lost a few lengths at the start. In view of its behaviour Trainer Mr. Amit Caddy was informed that he must not accept with it again until its behaviour improved to the satisfaction of the Stipendiary Stewards in one jump out on a starting gate practice day.
Jockey Y.S. Srinath, the rider of CASTLE STUART, was reprimanded for shifting out and inconveniencing AYRTON (Suraj Narredu) on his outside rounding the final bend.
AYRTON (Suraj Narredu) was impounded for veterinary examination and on examination the Club's Veterinary Officer reported no abnormality.
CASTLE STUART (Y.S. Srinath) sustained cut injuries on both gaskin and right hind fetlock.

8th Race : 33. The Brig. R.C.R. Hill Memorial Trophy - (About) 1200 Metres. Horses rated 60 and above, 4 years old and over (11 Runners),
As Jockey Mudassar Nazar, the declared rider of AUTUMN RUSH was certified medically unfit to ride after his ride in the 3rd race. Permission was granted to Trainer Mr. Arjun Mangalorkar to substitute Jockey Ranjeet Singh to ride AUTUMN RUSH in place of Jockey Mudassar Nazar, the declared rider.
TALISKER (P. Kiran Rai) jumped awkwardly inwards and inconvenienced SCENIC BLAST (P. Trevor) on his inside soon after jumping out of the starting gates.
FRENEMEE (G.Y. Rajesh Babu) could not get a clear run between 350 Metres and 100 Metres of the race due to a closely packed field.
It was reported after the race that SMITHSONITE (Anjar Alam) burst its blood vessels during the race. Trainer Mr. Hidayat Khan was informed that he must produce a fitness certificate from the Club's Veterinary Officer before accepting with it again.

9th Race : 34. The Mauritius Pearl Plate - Div.II - (About) 1200 Metres. For horses rated 20 to 45 (8 Runners).
MOVIE MOGHUAL (P S Chouhan) brushed the gate while jumping out.
Jockey G Adarsh, the rider of SUNDAY CRUZ reported that his mount was not galloping fluently in the final 200 Metres of the race. The horse was impounded for veterinary examination but no abnormality was reported. However trainer Mr. V Lokanath was informed to take appropriate corrective measures before accepting with it again.
