1st Race:   65. The Ramkirpal Plate - (About) 1200 Metres. Horses rated 00 to 25  (11 Runners)

 

ABOVE AND BEYOND (M. Noornabi) was extremely fractious at the Starting Gates, reared up and flipped over. Under the circumstances it was permitted to be withdrawn before coming under Starter’s Orders.

 

CADOGAN  (S.G. Prasad) was fractious inside the gates.

 

QUARTER CASK (T.S. Jodha) was fractious inside the gates.

 

FORTUNATE ONE (Saddam Hussain) was fractious inside the gates.

 

REVA (Aqeed Waheed) and MARKUS SITTIKUS (P Kiran Rai) were slowly away.

 

Jockey Yash Narredu, the rider of INTERACTIVE, had to steady his mount to avoid striking the front runner ORIENTAL BELLE (K. Anil) soon after jumping out of the starting gates.

 

Jockey S.G. Prasad the rider of CADOGAN, was fined Rs.3,000/- for shifting out and inconveniencing the horses on his outside namely SUMMER SENSATION (A. Ramu), SIMRA (D. Gnaneshwar) and QUARTER CASK (T.S. Jodha) soon after jumping out of the starting gates.

 

Jockey Yash Narredu, the rider of INTERACTIVE, was reprimanded for shifting out and inconveniencing CADOGAN (S.G. Prasad) on his outside approaching the 900 Metres.

 

Jockey P. Kiran Rai, the rider of MARKUS SITTIKUS, was reprimanded for travelling wide between the 600 Metres and 400 Metres for no apparent reason.

 

Jockey S.G. Prasad, the rider of CADOGAN accidentally dropped his whip approaching the 300 Metres.

 

Jockey Aqeed Waheed, the rider of REVA, reported that he lost his whip in the final 100 Metres of the race.

 

CADOGAN (S.G. Prasad) sustained gum injury.

 

REVA (Aqeed Waheed) sustained cut injury on right flank.

 

Routine Sample was taken for analysis from the winner dkb/br ORIENTAL BELLE.

 

2nd Race:   66. The Paddiwick Plate - (About) 1600 Metres. Maiden Indian Horses 3 years old only (Horses who have run at least thrice but not placed second, third or fourth even once ineligible (9 Runners)

 

ANDROSTOS (Y.S. Srinath) was fractious inside the gates.

 

SUPREME DOMINATOR (Suraj Narredu) was slowly way.

 

Jockey Suraj Narredu, the rider of SUPREME DOMINATOR, was fined Rs.3,000/- for coming in and causing interference to JAGER BOMB (D.K. Ashish) on his inside passing the 1400 Metres.

 

Jockey J.H. Christopher, the rider of ALERIO, was fined Rs.2,000/- for shifting in and causing interference to CORIOLIS (P. Trevor) on his inside passing the 950 Metres.

 

Jockey P. Kiran Rai, the rider of PASSION FLORA, was fined Rs.2,000/- for coming in and causing interference to ANDROSTOS (Y.S. Srinath) on his inside passing the 900 Metres. 

 

Jockey S. John, the rider of TORCH BEARER, reported that he lost his whip passing the 150 Metres.

 

Routine Sample was taken for analysis from the winner b g TORCH BEARER.

 

3rd Race:    67. The Aboline Plate - (About) 1200 Metres. For Horses rated 20 to 45 (12 Runners)

 

VITO (A Ashad Asbar) was fractious inside the gates.

 

SEVEN OF HEARTS (Nassar Alam) was slowly away and lost few lengths.

 

PIPPIN (Akshay Kumar) brushed the gates while jumping out.

 

SEVEN OF HEARTS (Nassar Alam) stood flat footed and lost few lengths. Trainer Mr. Sharat Kumar was informed that he must not accept with it again until its behaviour improved to the satisfaction of the Stipendiary Stewards in one jump out on a starting gate practice day. 

 

REWARDING DESIRE (M.F. Ali Khan) jumped out awkwardly and inconvenienced BAZINGA (P. Kiran Rai) on its outside soon after jumping out of the starting gates.

 

BUZZ THE TOWER (Shadab Khan) ran detached from the field. Trainer Mr. Mahmood Khan was informed to ensure better performance of his charge in future.

 

Jockey Nassar Alam, the rider of SEVEN OF HEARTS, was reprimanded for traveling wide from 600 Metres till passing the winning post.

 

Routine Sample was taken for analysis from the winner b f FAIR GAME.

 

 

 

4th Race:     68. The Sweet Memories Plate – (About) 1600 Metres Horses rated 20 to 45, 4 years old and over (12 Runners)

          

TRAK ON FIRE (J H Christopher) was slowly away.

 

PRESIDENTS RULE (A. Ramu) after jumping out, swerved towards left and refused to raise a gallop.  Trainer Mr. Amit Caddy was informed that he must not accept with it until its behaviour improved to the satisfaction of the Stipendiary Stewards in one Mock Race on a race day on the race track.

 

Jockey A.R. Pradeep, the rider of MASKED MARVEL, was fined Rs.3,000/- for shifting out and taking out ALL PROOF (V.R. Jagadeesh) on his outside which in turn passed it on to MY LAW (A. Ashhad Asbar) passing the 600 Metres.

 

Jockey V.R. Jagadeesh, the rider of ALL PROOF, was fined Rs.1,000/- for shifting in and causing interference to TANGANYIKA (P. Trevor) on his inside approaching the 200 Metres.

 

Jockey J H Christopher was questioned regarding the apparent poor performance of TRAK ON FIRE. The Jockey stated that after jumping out it was throwing its head up and he had considerable difficulty to keep it on an even course till about the 600 Metres. He also added that since this horse was running for the first time with Cross Nose Band and that must be one of the reason the horse was throwing its head up. His explanations were noted.

5th Race:    69. The Chief Justice’s Cup - (About) 1800 Metres,  Horses 4 years old and over  (14 Runners)

 

SNOWDRIFT (Shailesh Shinde) and ISN”T SHE SPECIAL (K P G Appu) were slowly away.

 

STRIKING (Ryan Marshall) was slowly away and lost few lengths at the start. Trainer Mr. S S Attaollahi was informed that he must not accept with it again until its behaviour improved to the satisfaction of the Stipendiary Stewards in one jump out on  a starting gate practice day.

 

Jockey K.P.G. Appu, the rider of ISN’T SHE SPECIAL, was reprimanded for shifting in and inconveniencing TO THE MANOR BORN (Neeraj Rawal) on his inside passing the 600 Metres.

 

Jockey D.K. Ashish, the rider of AMBITIOUS REWARD, was fined Rs.1,000/- for not maintaining a proper course thereby shifting out and inconveniencing JEREMIAH (S. Zervan) on his outside, as a result TO THE MANOR BORN (Neeraj Rawal) traveling directly behind the latter had to be checked by its rider passing the 200 Metres.

6th Race:    70. The M. Ali Asker Memorial Trophy Div.I  - (About) 1200 Metres. Horses rated 40 to 65, 5 years old and over  (12 Runners)

 

Jockey S.G. Prasad, the rider of AIR TIGHT, reported that he could not follow the Trainer’s instructions as his horse did not have the initial speed. The horse was impounded for veterinary examination and on examination the Club’s Veterinary Offer reported after the last race at 6:15 p.m that it had burst its blood vessels (Endoscopy – Grade III). Trainer Mr. Sriram Komandur was informed that he must produce a fitness certificate from the Club’s veterinary officer before accepting with it again.

 

Jockey D. Gnaneshwar, the rider of IGAH IGAH IGAH, reported that he lost his whip passing the 300 Metres.

 

MOUNTAIN BEAUTY(Suraj Narredu) was impounded for veterinary examination but no abnormality was reported.

7th Race:    71. The A.M.C. Gowda Memorial Trophy  – (About) 1400 Metres. Horses rated 40 to 65, 4 years old and over (12 Runners)

 

STRIKE THE STARS (J H Christopher), AMISTAD (S John) and SANS FRONTIERES (Shobhan Babu) were slowly away.

 

WINGS OF FORTUNE (P. Kiran Rai) jumped awkwardly inwards and inconvenienced the horses on its inside viz. UNGOOGLEABLE (Imran Chisty) and MIDNIGHT CRUZE (S. Zervan) soon after jumping out of the starting gates.

 

Jockey J.H. Christopher, the rider of STRIKE THE STARS, reported that his mount was hanging out throughout the race.  The horse was impounded for veterinary examination but no abnormality was reported.  However Trainer Mr. S. Ganapathy was informed to take appropriate corrective measures before accepting with it again.

 

When struck on the flank with the whip near the 100 Metres UNGOOGLEABLE (Imran Chisty) buckled. The horse was impounded for veterinary examination but no abnormality was reported.

 

Trainer Mr. Prasanna Kumar and Jockey S John were questioned regarding the disappointing performance of AMISTAD. Jockey S John was instructed to have the gelding 3rd or 4th then do his best in the straight. He said the horse was a little slow to jump and lethargic in the early stages of the race even though he was pushing AMISTAD along. By the 1000 Metres he had improved but was trapped wide on the track. When he was straightened he called upon AMISTAD and whipped the gelding but he gave nothing. This was confirmed on the CCTV replay. Mr Kumar said he was disappointed in the horses performance as he expected it to win. He added that AMISTAD had pulled up well and had eaten up that night. He was informed to produce a Veterinary Certificate of fitness from the Club’s Veterinary officer and run in a mock race before starting AMISTAD again. He was further informed that AMISTAD will not be permitted to race for three weeks.

 

Jockey P Trevor was questioned over the running of ABSOLUTE RED. He stated that at 1200 Metres he had obtained a good position travelling behind MIDNIGHT CRUZE (S Zervan). Approaching the 1000 Metres he brushed AMISTAD (S John) on his outside then shortly afterwards he was eased when tightened between MIDNIGHT CRUZE and AMISTAD. He felt this was all due to the slow early pace of the race. As a result he lost his early position. At the 700 Metres he was about three and a half length from the leader SANS FRONTIERES. Although he was riding his mount with the whip ABSOLUTE RED which was inclined to lay in did not show any dash until he had a clear run near the 200 Metres.

8th Race:    72. The M. Ali Asker Memorial Trophy Div.II  - (About) 1200 Metres. Horses rated 40 to 65, 5 years old and over  (10 Runners)

 

Permission was granted to Trainer Mr. Prasanna Kumar to withdraw THE MUSE (T.S. Jodha) on veterinary grounds as it was found to be lame on left fore due to inflammed hoof.  He was informed that he must produce a Fitness Certificate from the Club’s Veterinary Officer before accepting with it again.

 

RED BOLT (Irvan Singh) was extremely fractious and refused to be stalled. Under the circumstances it was permitted to be withdrawn before coming under starter’s orders.

 

LADS GLADIATOR (P S Chouhan) was slowly away.

 

WHISTLEJACKET (J H Christopher) jumped awkwardly inwards and inconvenienced LADS GLADIATOR (P S Chouhan) on its inside soon after jumping out of the starting gates.

 

VEYRON (P Kiran Rai) could not get a clear run in the straight passing 200 Metres as WIND AND FLIGHT (S G Prasad) shifted in and MAGIC WAVE (M Rajesh Kumar) shifted out at the same time.
