RACING INCIDENTS
(73 – 81)
False Rails: No False Rails
1st Race: 73. The Fantabulous King Plate – Div.II - (About) 1200 Metres. Maiden Indian Horses 3 years old only (Horses who have run at least thrice but not placed second, third or fourth even once ineligible (11 Runners)
TICKLES (D K Ashish) was slowly
away.
AUTHENTIC (D.K. Ashish) jumped
awkwardly.
Jockey B. Harish, the rider of
CARBONADO, reported that his mount was hanging in
after entering straight. The horse was
impounded for veterinary examination and no abnormality was reported. However,
trainer Mr. Prasanna Kumar was informed to take appropriate corrective measures
before accepting with it again.
Jockey D. Patel, the rider of
HELLO BOSS, was cautioned to exercise adequate vigour to ride out his mount
during the race.
Jockey P.S. Chouhan was
questioned regarding the disappointing performance of YOURE ASHWASHAKTHI. Jockey Chouhan was instructed to be
positioned where the gelding is comfortable. He had a nice run throughout and
moved to the lead easily. However when
Jockey Chouhan was called upon for an effort it gave nothing and when struck
with the whip near the 80 Metres it ducked in.
He added that YOURE ASHWASHAKTHI may have choked down, but there was no
evidence of this. Trainer Mr. Pradeep
Annaiah could offer no explanation. He
said the horse had worked well and give no indication
of anything amiss. The horse was impounded for veterinary examination and the
Club’s Veterinary Officer reported after the fifth race at 3.35 p.m. that it
burst its blood vessels (Endoscopy Grade III).
Trainer Mr. Pradeep Annaiah was informed that he must produce a Fitness
Certificate from the Club’s Veterinary Officer before accepting with it again.
BRAVATA (A.R. Pradeep) was
running green throughout the race.
COOL ICEMINT (B Mahesh) which
raced ungainly was impounded for veterinary examination but no abnormality was
reported.

analysis from b g YOURE ASHWASHAKTHI.
Routine Sample was taken for
analysis from the winner b g AUTHENTIC.
2nd Race: 74. The
WESTERN LADY (M Rajesh
Kumar) was fractious in the gates.
TURF OSTRICH (Shadab
Khan) was slowly away.
Jockey P. Kiran Rai, the
rider of NAYAN STAR, was reprimanded for travelling wide between 900 Metres
till about rounding the final bend for no apparent reason.
VALERIAN STEEL (A. Imran
Khan) was impounded for veterinary examination but no abnormality was reported.

AAYAN (S. Shiva Kumar)
was slowly away and lost few lengths at the start. In view of its behaviour Trainer Mr. M.P.
Mahaesh was informed that he must not accept with it again until its behaviour
improved to the satisfaction of the Stipendiary Stewards in one jump out on a
starting gate practice day.
NATIVE FORCE (A.R.
Pradeep) raced green in the straight.
PERFECT KING (Shobhan
Babu) was slow into strides, slightly swerved towards left after jumping out
hung out from 900 Metres till rounding the final bend thereby carrying NATIVE
FORCE (A.R. Pradeep) wide of the track.
The horse was impounded for veterinary examination but no abnormality
was reported.
DANCING SYMPHONY
(Khurshad Alam) sustained cut injury on right hind cannon.

4th Race: 76. The New Market Plate
- (About) 1400 Metres. For Horses rated 00 to 25, 4 years old and over
(11 Runners)
Permission was granted to
Trainer Mr. R.R. Byramji to withdraw WHIMSICAL (Yash Narredu) on veterinary
grounds as it was found to be lame on right hind due to cut injury on the cannon. He was informed that he must produce a
Fitness Certificate from the Club’s Veterinary Officer before accepting with it
again.
KIMORA (S. John) brushed
the gates while jumping out.
SUMMER DAWN (P Mani)
jumped out awkwardly.
ATTITUDE XTREME (A.R.
Pradeep) was slowly away and lost few lengths at the start. In view of its behaviour Trainer Mr. G.
Nityanand was informed that he must not accept with it again until its
behaviour improved to the satisfaction of the Stipendiary Stewards in one jump
out on a starting gate practice day.
Near the 900 Metres
KIMORA (S. John) steadied when SUEZY OH rolled in slightly.
SUEZY OH (Akshay Kumar)
shifted out and inconvenienced AQUA ARIA (

rider of BYRONIC, was reprimanded for travelling
wide rounding the
final bend for no apparent reason.
BYRONIC (B Harish)
sustained a cut injury on left nostril.

for analysis from the winner dk b f WINNING STORY.
5th Race: 77. The
Permission was granted to
Trainer Mr. Amit Caddy to withdraw BETTER THAN EVER (Suraj Narredu) on
veterinary grounds as it was found to be suffering from right eye corneal
opacity with large ulcer and inflammed both eye lids. He was informed that he must produce a
Fitness Certificate from the Club’s Veterinary Officer before accepting with it
again.
STARSTRUCK (H G Rathod),
NOCTURNAL HUNTER (J H Christopher) and VIVA DIVA (M Rajesh Kumar) were slowly
away.
MOUNTAIN SPLENDOR (A.
Sundaram) struck the false rails passing the 900 Metres whereby the rider was
injured and taken to hospital for treatment. An enquiry has been opened and
adjourned until further date.

for analysis from the winner b g RESURGENT.
6th Race: 78. The Colts Championship Stakes (Grade I) - (About) 1600 Metres. 3 year old Indian Colts & Geldings (Foaled in 2011) (7 Runners)
VIJAY VIRAAJ (P.S.
Chouhan) raced fiercely between the early and middle stages of the race.

7th Race:
79. The D.M. Shivaswamy Memorial Cup – (About) 1200
Metres. Horses rated 60 and above (12 Runners)
As Jockey A. Imran Khan,
the declared rider of ABSOLUTE MAJORITY was certified medically unfit to ride
after his ride in the 6th race, permission was granted to trainer
Mr. S. Dominic to substitute Jockey K.P.G. Appu to ride ABSOLUTE MAJORITY in
place of Jockey A. Imran Khan, the declared rider.
MAGNITUDE STAR (K.Anil)
jumped awkwardly outwards and brushed TRIUMPH (Imran Chisty) and
FRENEMEE (P. Kiran Rai)
was hanging in after entering the straight.
The horse was impounded for veterinary examination but no abnormality
was reported.
Jockey P. Kiran Rai, the
rider of FRENEMEE, was questioned why he did not change his whip to the right
hand to which he replied that he is weak on that hand. He was told to keep his mount straight and if
need be ride out a strong hands and heels.
Trainer Mr. R R Byramji was questioned regarding the apparent improved
performance of his charge TRIUMPH in the above race as compared to its previous
run. Mr. Byramji stated that he was not confident at todays 1200 Metres
race. He said the gelding had been
working well and that he had changed the shoeing on TRIUMPH. He added that at
its last run it was racing in the middle of a packed field but when called up
on for an effort by Jockey Vinod Shinde, he gave nothing. The horse had a clear run today which must be
appreciated. The explanation was noted.

8th Race: 80. The Chaitanya Chakram Trophy - (About) 1800 Metres. Horses rated 40 to 65 (8 Runners)
EVRAZ (Imran Chisty) was
fractious inside the gates.
STAR OF DESTINY (
Jockey B. Nayak, the
rider of NOBLE REWARD, was fined Rs.2,000/- for
travelling wide between the 900 Metres till rounding the final bend for no
apparent reason.
Routine Sample was taken
for analysis from the winner b g BOLD MAJESTY.
9th Race: 81. The
HACKETT (A Ramu) jumped
awkwardly outwards and inconvenienced the horses on his outside viz. THE
GUARDIAN (J H Christopher) and SWEET ANGEL (P Kiran Rai) soon after jumping out
of the starting gates.
Jockey M Prabhakaran, the
rider of GO GREEN was fined Rs.1,000/- for shifting
out under the use of whip in the final 200 Metres of the race.
Jockey S K Paswan, the
rider of A GAME TO REMEMBER was fined Rs.1,000/- for
shifting course towards the inside under the use of whip in the final 200
Metres of the race.
