1st Race: 82. The Iflookscouldkill Plate - (About) 1400 Metres. Horses rated 00 to 25 (8 Runners)
MAGICAL FILLY (Shadab Khan) jumped out awkwardly.
At the 500 Metres EMANCIPATION (B Mahesh) steadied of the heels of BATTLE EMPRESS (P. Kiran Rai).
Trainer Mr. Faraz Arshad and Jockey Imran Khan were questioned regarding
the apparent poor performance of CONJURER. Jockey Imran Khan said he was
instructed to ride CONJURER forward but the gelding did not show early speed
even though urged along. He was trapped four wide and then taken wider on the
home turn to improve his position. He added that CONJURER raced greenly in the
straight but gave nothing under his hard riding. Trainer Faraz Arshad confirmed
the instructions and was disappointed in the performance of CONJURER as he
thought it would win. He dropped in Class to find a weaker field and went to the
1400 Metres as the horse had run on well in the previous start over 1100 Metres.
The horse was impounded for veterinary examination but no abnormality was
reported.
Trainer Mr. R.V. Manohar and Jockey S. Shiva Kumar were asked if there was anything within their knowledge that could account for the improved performance of NOBLE PRINCESS. Jockey Shiva Kumar stated he was instructed to ride the mare in 5th or 6th when he rode her at her previous start on 25th May 2014 in Race No.11. The mare was slow to jump but he pushed her along to be wide racing mid field by the 900 Metres where she commenced to lose ground. He added that she did little in the straight and he felt she needed the race. Shiva Kumar further stated that he rides her work and she has been working keenly since that race. Trainer Manohar said she has improved since her last start, he has changed her shoeing from steel to aluminum and felt the field today was not very strong. Their explanations were noted.

2nd Race: 83. The Red Divine Plate - Div.II - (About) 1200 Metres. Maiden Indian Horses 3 years old only (Horses who have run at least thrice but not placed second, third or fourth even once ineligible (8 Runners)
SHINING BAY (Neeraj Rawal) was slowly away.
Trainer Mr. F. Sirajuddin was fined Rs.1,000/- for not producing the declared
colours at the scales in respect of his charge MADAME AYESHA (P. Mani).
Subsequently All Black emergency colours were permitted to be used.
MADAME AYESHA (P. Mani) after jumping out, swerved towards left, refused
to raise a fluent gallop and ran on the outer sand track after rounding the
final bend and dropped rider passing 300 Metres and ran riderless thereafter. In
view of its behaviour Trainer Mr. F. Sirajuddin was informed that he must not
accept with it again until its behaviour improved to the satisfaction of the
Stipendiary Stewards in two Mock Races on race days on the race track.
MADAME AYESHA (P. Mani) was impounded for veterinary examination but no abnormality was reported, other than a bleeding cut injury to left and right knees.
MIRACLES OF LIFE (Vivek) was impounded for veterinary examination but no abnormality was reported.

3rd Race: 84. The Own Opinion Trophy - (About) 1800 Metres. For Horses rated 20 to 45 (9 Runners)
Permission was granted to trainer Mr. M. Narredu to withdraw THE GENERAL (Suraj
Narredu) on veterinary grounds as it was found to be lame on right fore due to
inflammed elbow. He was informed that he must produce a Fitness Certificate from
the Club's Veterinary Officer before accepting with it again.
SUNNY EXPRESS (Arshad Alam) & ZAGATO (P Kiran Rai) were slowly away.
Jockey P. Trevor, the rider of SPREADEAGLE, reported that his mount was hanging
in after entering straight and he had considerable difficulty to bring it wide
outside for a clear run in the final 100 Metres of the race.
Jockey P.S. Chouhan, the rider of ACEEMPRESSJESSIE reported that his mount was
hanging in after entering the straight. The horse was impounded for veterinary
examination and no abnormality was reported other than a cut injury on the right
fore fetlock.
Jockey P. Trevor and Trainer Mr. Arjun Mangalorkar were questioned as to the
reason SPREADEAGLE was ridden from the rear of the field today as opposed to the
gelding's previous start on 7-6-2014 when he was on the pace. Mr. Mangalorkar
said that he was disappointed as SPREADEAGLE did not finish the race off last
time then when it drew 9 in todays even he felt that riding the horse from
behind may suit over the 1800 Metres. Jockey Trevor added that his mount was
hanging 'in' in the straight and he had some difficulty in extracting SPREAD
EAGLE to the outside to gain a clear passage. Mr. Mangalorkar said that this is
the gelding's 4th start and he will instruct his riders to ride in a similar
manner in future.

4th Race: 85. The R. S. Nagendra Kumar Memorial Trophy - (About) 1200 Metres
Horses rated 40 to 65, 4 years old and over (10 Runners)
Permission was granted to trainer Mr. Faraz Arshad to withdraw ALBERTINO (Anjar
Alam) on veterinary grounds as it was suffering from fever. He was informed that
he must produce a Fitness Certificate from the Club's Veterinary Officer before
accepting with it again.
STROMBOLITE (S. Zervan) was extremely fractious in the gates and refused to
remain in the stalls. Under the circumstances it was permitted to be withdrawn
before coming under Starter's orders.
SUN GLOW (M Noornabi) and SIMPLETON (Bhawani Singh) were slowly away.
Jockey T.S. Jodha, the rider of ANCIENT TITLE was fined Rs.2,000/- for shifting
'in' and causing interference to CONROD (Imran Chisty) on his inside approaching
the 200 Metres.
SUN GLOW (M. Noornabi) was impounded for veterinary examination but no
abnormality was reported.
PRAZSKY (P.S. Chouhan) was impounded for veterinary examination but no
abnormality was reported.
SALZBURG (R Vaibhav) was impounded for veterinary examination but no abnormality
was reported.

5th Race: 86. The Patrons Cup - (About) 1200 Metres. Horses rated 80 and above
(11 Runners)
SUPER STORM (Saddam Hussain) was fractious in the gates.
ATHLETIC STAR (M Rajesh Kumar) was slowly away.
Jockey B. Mahesh, the rider of SECRET PUNCH, reported that his mount accidentally brushed the false rails passing the 750 Metres.
It was observed that BULLSEYE (Yash Narredu) when making ground had to be checked by its rider to avoid striking the front runner CHUL BUL PANDY (Anjar Alam) approaching the 350 Metres.
Jockey S.G. Prasad, the rider of SHIVALIK STAR, was reprimanded for accidentally hitting the whip of LIGHT OF SUCCESS (P. Trevor), as a result Jockey Trevor lost his whip passing the 200 Metres.
Jockey P.S. Chouhan, the rider of WHISPERING GALLERY, reported that his mount was hanging in after entering the straight.
SECRET PUNCH (B. Mahesh) sustained a bleeding cut injury on right flank.

6th Race: 87. The Y.S. Surender Memorial Cup - (About) 1600 Metres. Horses rated 60 and above (8 Runners)
Permission was granted to Trainer Mr. V. Narayana Gowda to withdraw PROM QUEEN on veterinary grounds as it was found to be lame on left hind due to sprained stifle. He was informed that he must produce a Fitness Certificate from the Club's Veterinary Officer before accepting with it again.
RAPHIRE (A.R. Pradeep) ran detached from the field. The horse was impounded for veterinary examination, but no abnormality was reported. However, Trainer Mr. S. Inayathulla was informed to ensure better performance of his charge in future.

7th Race: 88. The Bhishma Plate - (About) 1400 Metres. Horses rated 20 to
45, 4 years old and over (12 Runners)
Jockey S ShivaKumar replaced the indisposed jockey Ranjeet Singh on PEARL REWARD.
STAR KINGDOM (D K Ashish) was slowly away.
Jockey S. Shiva Kumar, the rider of PEARL REWARD reported that his saddle slipped back passing the 200 Metres as such he could not offer much assistance to his mount thereafter. After due examination Trainer Mr. S. Padmanabhan was fined Rs.3,000/- for faulty saddling.
Jockey Arshad Alam, the rider of ADRIPHOS, reported that his mount was hanging in after entering the straight thereby inconveniencing STAR KINGDOM (D.K. Ashish) on his inside approaching the 200 Metres. The horse was impounded for veterinary examination but no abnormality was reported.
Jockey Arshad Alam, the rider of ADRIPHOS, was fined Rs.2,000/- for coming in and causing interference to CHEDDAR FACE (Imran Chisty) on his inside approaching the 1000 Metres.
Jockey Imran Chisty, the rider of CHEDDAR FACE, was fined Rs.1,000/- for shifting out and causing interference to ADRIPHOS (Arshad Alam) on his outside approaching the 200 Metres.
Jockey P.S. Chouhan, the rider of ACE SHINEON, was reprimanded for traveling wide rounding the final bend for no apparent reason.
DOFANTASY (Yash Narredu) was impounded for veterinary examination and no abnormality was reported.
PEARL REWARD (S Shiva Kumar) was impounded for veterinary examination and no abnormality was reported.
ADRIPHOS (Arshad Alam) was impounded for veterinary examination and no abnormality was reported.
