Penetrometer Reading : 4.4  Cms

 

False Rails: Average width of 3.5 Metres from 1600 Metres to the winning post.  

1st Race:   114. The Pune  Plate - (About) 1600 Metres. Horses rated 00 to 25 (12 Runners).

 

MARKUS SITTIKUS (Kiran Rai .P) was slowly away.

 

GLAMOUR BOY (Bhawani Singh) accidentally brushed the false rails passing the 1200 Metres.

 

SHE LOVES IT (B. Nayak) accidentally brushed the false rails passing the 1000 Metres.

 

Near the 1000 Metres ORIENTAL KING (B. Mahesh) had to be steadied and shift out to avoid clipping the front runner KIMORA (Neeraj Rawal).

 

Jockey S. Zervan, the rider of AQUA ARIA, reported that his mount was hanging in after entering the straight thereby placing him in a disadvantageous position to ride out his mount.  The horse was impounded for veterinary examination but no abnormality was reported. However Trainer Mr. Neil Darashah was informed to take appropriate corrective measures before accepting with it again.

 

MARKUS SITTIKUS (P. Kiran Rai) suddenly stopped galloping in the final 300 Metres of the race and ran detached thereafter. The horse was impounded for veterinary examination.  On examination it was found to have burst its blood vessels (Endoscopy - Grade III).  Trainer Mr. V. Narayana Gowda was informed that he must produce a Fitness Certificate from the Club’s Veterinary Officer before accepting with it again.

 

Routine Sample was taken for analysis from the winner b g SUMMER DAWN.

 

2nd Race:    115. The R M Puttanna Memorial Trophy -  Div.I  - (About) 1400 Metres. Horses rated 40 to 65, 4 years old and over  (10 Runners)

 

IRISH SONG (Suraj Narredu) & BEAUTY IS TRUTH (Dashrat Singh) were slowly away.

 

PROM QUEEN after being fractious in the gates, Jockey P. Kiran Rai said the mare threw her head upon jumping away.

 

Jockey Yash Narredu, the rider of DIAMONITE, was reprimanded for not riding his mount to the winning post.

 

Near the 900 Metres OPTIMISTIC (Arshad Alam) which was racing keenly, steadied from IRISH SONG (Suraj Narredu) then laid outwards for a short distance.

 

Routine Sample was taken for analysis from the winner b f IRISH SONG.

 

3rd Race:     116. The S.N Harish Memorial Trophy  – (About) 1600 Metres. Maiden Indian Horses 3 years old only (Horses who have run at least thrice but not placed second, third or fourth even once ineligible (9 Runners)

 

SHIVALIK EYES (Y.S. Srinath) was slowly away and lost about 2 lengths.

 

It was observed that the surcingle on CORIOLIS (P. Trevor) broke passing 900 Metres as a result the saddle shifted forward and as such the Jockey had considerable difficulty in riding out his mount thereafter. After due examination of the equipment Trainer Mr. S.S. Attaollahi was fined Rs.3,000/- for using an unserviceable equipment.

 

Shortly after the start CRAZY PINEAPPLE (S. John) commenced to hang  out causing FLYINGANGEL (Suraj Narredu) to be checked from the heels of MANDARIN (A.R. Pradeep) and shift out sharply inconveniencing SMART CONNECTIONS (Neeraj Rawal) and ANAROSA (A. Sandesh).

 

Near the 500 Metres SHIVALIK EYES (Y.S. Srinath) shifted out forcing ANAROSA (A. Sandesh) wider on the track.     

 

SMART CONNECTIONS (Neeraj Rawal) pulled hard in the middle stages of the race.

 

Routine Sample was taken for analysis from the winner ch c CORIOLIS.

 

4th Race:   117. The Nawab M. Arshad Ali Khan Memorial cup -  (About) 1400 Metres.  For 3 year old Indian Horses (Foaled in 2011) (9 Runners)

 

Shortly after the start MADAME SULTANA (D.K. Ashish) shifted in causing NATIVE FORCE (J.H. Christopher) to check losing ground. Jockey D.K. Ashish was fined Rs.2,000/-

 

BARACCHUS (A. Sandesh) shifted out near 900 Metres and came in contact with HIDDEN DEAL (P. Kiran Rai) forcing that horse on to MADAME SULTANA (D.K. Ashish) and NATIVE FORCE (J.H.Christopher). An enquiry is being held into this incident.

 

Routine Sample was taken for analysis from the winner ch c COLDSTREAM.

 

5th Race:     118. The Royal Challenge Trophy  – (About) 1200 Metres. Horses rated 20 to 45 (12 Runners)

 

APOLLO STAR (D. Gnaneshwar) was extremely fractious while loading. Advised to give Adequate Gate Practice.

 

CADOGAN (V.R. Jagadeesh) was extremely fractious inside the gates. Advised to give Adequate Gate Practice.

Shortly after the start REGAL BOAST (Syed Asgar) was tightened between FAST LADY (Y.S. Srinath) and POWER OF TIME (R. Anand).

 

Jockey M. Mark, the rider of RAPIDEST, reported that his mount was trying to run out between 900 Metres and 500 Metres thereby taking CADOGAN (V.R. Jagadeesh) wider on the track. The horse was impounded for veterinary examination. On examination it was found to have sharp molars on both sides of jaw and also burst its blood vessels. Trainer Mr. L.V.R. Deshmukh was fined Rs.3,000/- for his negligence (1st infringement) and was also informed that he must produce a Fitness Certificate from the Club’s Veterinary Officer before accepting with it again.

 

Jockey D Gnaneshwar, the rider of APOLLO STAR, was fined Rs.3,000/- for shifting in and causing interference to the horses on his inside viz. PIPPIN (Yash Narredu),  FAST LADY (Y.S. Srinath) and NAYAN STAR (P. Kiran Rai) along the rails approaching the 900 Metres.

 

FAST LADY (Y.S. Srinath) had to be steadied of the heels of SWITCH (M. Rajesh Kumar) approaching the 800 Metres.

 

Jockey Syed Asgar, the rider of REGAL BOAST was reprimanded for not exercising sufficient control over his mount thereby allowing it to drift out in the final 250 Metres of the races.

 

PIPPIN (Yash Narredu) sustained a bleeding cut injury on right hind tendon.

 

Routine Sample was taken for analysis from the winner dk b f CHAMPAKALI.

 

6th Race:    119. The B.T.C. Anniversary Cup (Grade II) (About) 1400 Metres. For 4 years old and over  (12 Runners)

 

CHARLATAN (P. Trevor) and ROCK WITH U (Y.S. Srinath) brushed at the start.

 

Near the 1100 Metres RIDGEWAY (S. John) was steaded from the heels of NOBLE AND NICE (Arshad Alam).

 

Compulsory Samples were taken for analysis from the following I, II and III placed horses viz.:

7th Race:   120. The K.N. Guruswamy Memorial Trophy  (About) 1400 Metres.  For horses rated 60 and above (11 Runners)

 

BRABUS SPEED (Ajeet Kumar) jumped out and bumped SUPREME REGIME (A. Sandesh) as a result IM DIFFERENT (Suraj Narredu) and TALISKER (A. Vishwanath) were inconvenienced losing ground. An enquiry is being held into the incident.

 

Approaching the 1100 Metres LAD STAR (Bhawani Singh) shifted in as a result BRABUS SPEED (Ajeet  Kumar) was carried inwards which was forced to ease and ALCAZABA (Yash Narredu) which eased and shifted out bumping SUPREME REGIME (A. Sandesh).

 

SUPREME REGIME (A. Sandesh) raced fiercely approaching the 1000 Metres until near the 800 Metres.

 

TALISKER (A Vishwanath) and IM DIFFERENT (Suraj Narredu) raced wide making the home turn.

 

SUPREME REGIME (A. Sandesh) was impounded for veterinary examination but no abnormality was reported.

 

Routine Sample was taken for analysis from the winner dk b f LAD STAR.

 

8th Race:    121. The R.M. Puttanna Memorial Trophy Div.II  - (About) 1400 Metres. Horses rated 40 to 65, 4 years old and over  (11 Runners).

 

I SAY (Arshad Alam) planted and did not take part in the race. Trainer Mr. R.V. Manohar was informed that he must not accept with it again until its behaviour improved to the satisfaction of the Stipendiary Stewards in two Mock Races on race days on the race track.

 

At the start NATURAL VIEW (A.R. Pradeep) jumped out bumping SANTA ANA (Y.S. Srinath) onto ABSOLUTE RED and ALFONS DE BORJA (S. John)

 

After making the home turn ABSOLUTE RED (P. Trevor) commenced to hang inwards, this place Jockey P. Trevor had a disadvantage in riding his mount out. This resulted in ABSOLUTE RED being unable to obtain a clear passage from the 400 Metres until the 80 Metres.

 

UNGOOGLEABLE (Imran Chisty) buffetd between ALFONS DE BORJA (S. John) and JAANVI (B. Harish) approaching the 1000 Metres.

 

ALFORNS DE BORJA (S. John) accidentally brushed the false fails passing the 1000 Metres.

 

Jockey Darshat Singh, the rider of NOBLE REWARD, reported that his mount was hanging in throughout the race. The horse impounded for veterinary examination but no abnormality was reported.

 

Routine Sample was taken for analysis from the winner b c ALFONS DE BORJA.
