1st Race: 161. The Belmont Park Plate - (About) 1600 Metres. Horses rated 00 to 25 (12 Runners)

ATTITUDE XTREME (V.R. Jagadeesh) planted and lost many lengths at the start. In view of its behaviour Trainer Mr. G. Nityanand was informed that he must not accept with it again until its behaviour improved to the satisfaction of the Stipendiary Stewards in one Mock Race on a race day on the race track.

APOLLO RISING (Ajeet Kumar) planted and lost many lengths at the start. In view of its behaviour Trainer Mr. Samar Singh was informed that he must not accept with it again until its behaviour improved to the satisfaction of the Stipendiary Stewards in one Mock Race on a race day on the race track.

2nd Race: 162. The Star Contender Plate - (About) 1400 Metres. Horses rated 20 to 45 (10 Runners).

Trainer Mr. F. Sirajuddin was fined Rs.1,000/- for not producing the declared colours at the scales in respect of his charge EXTRA SPARK (D. Gnaneshwar). Subsequently 'all black' emergency colours were permitted to be used.

Jockey J.H. Christopher replaced Jockey D.K. Ashish, the declared rider of JAMES BOND who did not arrive to fulfill his riding engagement for the day. An enquiry is being held into the same.

At the start EXTRA SPARK (D. Gnaneshwar) lost ground when tightened between JINGLE BELLS (Yash Narredu) and TURF TACTICS (P.S. Chouhan).

ACEEMPRESSJESSIE (Arshad Alam) shied inwards and bumped JEYEM'S SPIRIT (A. Ashok Kumar) within 50 Metres of the start.

Near the 900 Metres RAPID ADVANCE (T.S. Jodha) steadied from the heels of JAMES BOND (J.H. Christopher).

EXTRA SPARK (D. Gnaneshwar) sustained gum injury.

3rd Race: 163. The Tippu Sultan Cup - (About) 1600 Metres. Horses rated 80 and above (8 Runners)

CZAR OF ROMANCE (P.S. Chouhan) planted and lost many lengths at the start. In view of its behaviour Trainer Mr. S. Dominic was



informed that he must not accept with it again until its behaviour improved to the satisfaction of the Stipendiary Stewards in one Mock Race on a race day on the race track.

ARABIAN WARRIOR (P. Trevor) sustained a cut injury on right hind fetlock.

Trainer Rajesh Narredu was asked if he could explain the improved performance of SUPER STORM in this race as against the horses previous run on 28-6-2014 in The Patrons Cup (About) 1200 Metres (Race No.86). He said that he horse had improved in condition since that run and had been working well. He added that the extra distance of 1600 Metres was more to SUPER STORM's liking and it is his intention to continue to race the horse over longer journeys. Further he was of the opinion that today's field was not as strong as THE PATRONS CUP. His explanation was noted.

4th Race: 164. The Classical Act Plate - (About) 1400 Metres. Horses rated 40 to 65, 4 years old and over (12 Runners)

COOL APPROACH (S. Mallikarjun) was slowly away and lost few lengths at the start. In view of its behaviour Trainer Mr. Sharat Kumar was informed that he must not accept with it again until its behaviour improved to the satisfaction of the Stipendiary Stewards in one jump out on a starting gate practice day.

Near the 750 Metres ROYAL REIN (Yash Narredu) steadied from CINCH (Imran Chisty).

Jockey Yash Narredu, the rider of ROYAL REIN, was fined Rs.3,000/- for the excessive use of the whip on his mount during the race (2nd infringement).

Trainer Mr. S. Padmanabhan was questioned about the improved performance of BERING SEA in today's race as opposed to its previous start in the CHAITANYA CHAKRAM TROPHY (Race No.80) over 1800 Metres on 22-6-2014. When questioned why he ran in the 1800 Metres he wanted to see if BERING SEA was able to run a journey. Although on the pace it failed to run the distance, so Mr. Padmanabhan engaged A. Sandesh as he had won on the horse in a 1400 Metres the same distance as today's event in both races. BERING SEA was able to dictate terms in front which appears to suit the mare. His explanation was noted.

HATCHET HARRY (Vivek) was impounded for veterinary examination and no abnormality was reported.

NOBLE REWARD (J.H. Christopher) was impounded for veterinary examination and no abnormality was reported.

5th Race: 165. The Mystic Memory Plate - (About) 1600 Metres. Horses rated 20 to 45, 4 years old and over (9 Runners)

Permission was granted to Trainer Mr. Amit Caddy to withdraw SUMMER DAWN on veterinary grounds as it was found to be lame on left fore due to sprained knee. He was informed that he must produce a Fitness Certificate from the Club's Veterinary Officer before accepting with it again.

At the start ONE OF A KIND (T.S. Jodha), SUNNY EXPRESS (J.H. Christopher) and ABBA (Neeraj Rawal) were slow to move losing ground.

Jockey T.S. Jodha, the rider of ONE OF A KIND, was reprimanded to keep his mount straight at the 300 Metres.

Jockey Neeraj Rawal, the rider of ABBA, was reprimanded to keep his mount straight at the 100 Metres.

SEVEN OF HEARTS (M. Kumar) shifted out and bumped ONE OF A KIND (T.S. Jodha) near 500 Metres.

Jockey J.H. Christopher, the rider of SUNNY EXPRESS, reported that his mount was not galloping fluently throughout the race. The horse was impounded for veterinary examination and on examination the Club's Veterinary Officer reported that it was found to have sharp molars. Trainer Mr. Faraz Arshad was fined Rs.3,000/- for his negligence (1st infringement)..

6th Race: 166. The Fire Haven Plate - (About) 1200 Metres. Maiden Indian Horses 3 years old only (Horses who have run at least thrice but not placed second, third or fourth even once ineligible (11 Runners)

Permission was granted to Trainer Mr. R.R. Byramji to withdraw TICKLES (Vinod Shinde) on veterinary grounds as it was found to have sustained an injury on right knee. He was informed that he must produce a Fitness Certificate from the Club's Veterinary Officer before accepting with it again.

WINDAMARE (R. Anand) jumped awkwardly on to EQUINE LOVE (A. Sandesh) and SPONTANEOUS EDDIE (Saddam Hussain).

REYKJAVIK (Ryan Marshall) was impounded veterinary examination and no abnormality was reported.
