1st Race: 192. The Good-Bye Stakes Div.II - (About) 1200 Metres. Horses rated 20 to 45, 4 years old and over (12 Runners)
WOODSTREAM (G Adarsh) and MARKUS SITTIKUS (B Harish) were slowly away.
Near the 950 Metres BALAS DREAM (P. Kiran Rai) shifted applying undue pressure to CONQUISTADOR (S. John) forcing that horse inwards causing VIGOROUS (B.L. Paswan) to check severely. Jockey P. Kiran Rai fined Rs.5,000/-.
Routine Sample was taken for analysis from the winner dk b c AMIGOS.
2nd Race: 193. The Littleover Stakes Div.II - (About) 1400 Metres. Horses rated 20 to 45 (11 Runners)
Jockey G.Y. Rajesh Babu was fined Rs.2,000/- for not drawing the declared weight in respect of his mount, SECRET DIMENSION. Hence permission was granted to Trainer Mr. V. Lokanath to replace Jockey Vivek in place of Jockey G.Y. Rajesh Babu, the declared rider. Subsequently as Jockey Vivek was certified medically unfit after his ride in the 1st race permission was once again granted to Trainer Mr. V. Lokanath to substitute Jockey Ryan Marshall to ride SECRET DIMENSION.
On jumping away SOUTHERN FANTASY (J.H. Christopher) dipped then approaching the 800 Metres eased off the heels of the leader PRINCE OF KINTYRE (B. Nayak).
Jockey Arshad Alam, the rider of NOBLE PRINCESS, was reprimanded for shifting out and inconveniencing ABOVE AND BEYOND (M. Noornabi) on his outside rounding the final bend.
YOURE GORGEOUS (B Harish) was impounded for veterinary examination but no abnormality was reported.
An enquiry is being held into the running and riding of YOURE GORGEOUS, trained by Mr. J Babu Rao and ridden by Jockey B Harish.
ABOVE AND BEYOND (M. Noornabi) sustained a cut injury on right fore cannon.

3rd Race: 194. The Malenahalli Stakes - (About) 1600 Metres. Horses rated 00 to 25 (11 Runners)
Permission was granted to Trainer Mr. Sharat Kumar to withdraw MEHEK on veterinary grounds as it was found to be lame on left hind due to sprained stifle. He was informed that he must produce a Fitness Certificate from the Club's Veterinary Officer before accepting with it again.
Jockey S. John replaced the indisposed Jockey Imran Chisty on SUEZY OH.
FORTALEZA (J H Christopher) and AJ ONE (Ryan Marshall) were fractious in the gates.
ORIENTAL KING (N Ramesh Kumar) was slowly away.
WESTERN LADY (G.Y. Rajesh Babu) jumped in bumping SHINING BAY (Vinod Shinde) which lost ground.
AJ ONE (Ryan Marshall) raced keenely in the early stages of the event.
Near the 400 Metres REFORMER (S K Paswan) checked when tightened for galloping room when DISTINCTIVE (B Nayak) shifted in slightly and SHE LOVES IT (G Adarsh) which shifted out.
Jockey P.S. Chouhan was questioned over the disappointing performance of TURF TACTICS. He stated that he rode the gelding in the same manner as its previous starts, but did not travel well approaching the home turn where Chouhan started to ride hands and heels. The gelding gave nothing in the straight. Trainer Mr. Hidayat Khan was very disappointed in the performance. He thought it would win as it was coming back in class and had been working well. By dropping back in class TURF TACTICS weight was raised by 9½ Kgs. Sample was taken from TURF TACTICS and was also impounded for veterinary examination but abnormality was reported.
Jockey G. Adarsh, the rider of SHE LOVES IT, was fined Rs.1,000/- for the excessive use of whip on his mount during the race (1st infringement).
SHE LOVES IT (G Adarsh) shifted out under pressure over the final 200 Metres. Jockey G Adarsh was fined Rs.5,000/- for an incompetent ride.

4th Race: 195. The Sir Bruce Stakes - (About) 1400 Metres. Horses rated 40 to 65 (8 Runners)
VISTABELLA (V R Jagadeesh) was slow to move when the gates were released.
Near the 1200 Metres the whip of Yash Narredu became entangled in the rein of AUTHENTIC.
Near the 150 Metres, MEDINAH (S John) shifted out causing ETERNAL DESIRE (D. Gnaneshwar) to ease slightly. Jockey S. John was reprimanded and was told to keep his mount straighter in future.

5th Race: 196. The Royal Command Stakes - (About) 1600 Metres. Horses rated 40 to 65, 4 years old and over (7 Runners)
It was observed that the left fore shoe of VEYRON (D. Gnaneshwar) had splayed just before the start as such it was permitted to be withdrawn before coming under Starter's Order.
At the start ARTIC ATTRACTION (P S Chouhan) jumped out bumping MY LAKSHMI
(A Sandesh) then near the 1500 Metres hung out forcing MY LAKSHMI (A Sandesh)
wider on the track.
It was reported after the race that PROM QUEEN (P. Kiran Rai) pulled up lame on right fore. Trainer Mr. V. Narayana Gowda was informed that he must produce a Fitness Certificate from the Club's Veterinary Officer before accepting with it again.

6th Race: 197. The Esquire Cup - (About) 1200 Metres. Maiden Indian Horses 3 years old only (Horses who have run at least thrice but not placed second, third or fourth even once ineligible (Terms) (12 Runners)
Jockey V.R. Jagadeesh replaced the indisposed Jockey Vivek on CRIQUETTE.
Jockey P. Kiran Rai replaced the indisposed Jockey Imran Chisty on FLAME OF PASSION.
SCENT OF SUCCESS (M Kumar) was slowly away.
AWESOME STAR (A Ashok Kumar) hung out for the major part of the race and carried ANGELA (Arshad Alam) wider on the track near the 800 Metres.
Jockey S. John, the rider of DEL SANTO, placed 2nd by the Judge objected against Jockey P. Kiran Rai placed 1st for "inside the last 200 Metres, the winner shifted in sharply and tightened and bumped me whereby I had to check my mount which cost me a certain race". The Stewards held an enquiry immediately after the race and examined the Jockeys concerned. After deliberations, they decided to uphold the objection and revised the order of placings as under:

Following an enquiry Jockey P Kiran Rai was fined Rs. 5.000/- for allowing FLAME OF PASSION to shift in near the 150 Metres causing DEL SANTO (S John) to be checked.

7th Race: 198. The Krishnaraja Wadiyar Trophy - (About) 1200 Metres. Horses rated 80 and above (10 Runners)
Jockey D. Gnaneshwar replaced the indisposed Jockey Imran Chisty on SECRET PUNCH.
Shortly after the start LIGHT OF SUCCESS (J H Christopher) hung out bumping TALISKER (P Kiran Rai)
LIGHT OF SUCCESS (J.H. Christopher) hung out throughout. Trainer Mr. G. Aravind was informed to take appropriate corrective measures before accepting with it again.
Trainer Mr. G Nityanand was asked if he could explain the apparent improved performance of TREASURE MOUNTAIN (A Sandesh) in today's races as to its previous start in Race No. 151, The J B Mallaradhya Memorial Trophy over 1600 Metres on 26-7-2014. He stated that he engaged a stronger rider A Sandesh because the gelding had pulled hard in the 1600 Metres race and felt it was too strong for apprentice Singh last start. This was verified viewing the CCTV replay of race 151 and as mentioned in the race day report. Mr. Nityanand added that TREASURE MOUNTAIN was up in class but dropped 6 kgs in weight and the race was 1200 today. He added that he will run the gelding over 1200 Metres or 1400 Metres in future.

8th Race: 199. The Allaire Stakes - (About) 1400 Metres. Horses rated 60 and above, 4 years old and over (12 Runners)
Jockey P.S. Chouhan replaced the indisposed Jockey Imran Chisty on EVRAZ.
Jockey Ryan Marshall replaced the indisposed Jockey Vivek on CASTLE STUART.
MADAME BOVARY (Irvan Singh) jumped out bumping EVRAZ (P.S. Chouhan).
SUPREME REGIME (J.H. Christopher) pulled hard in the early stages and hung out rounding home turn. Mr. G Aravind was informed to take appropriate corrective measures before accepting with it again.
EVRAZ (P S Chouhan) sustained a cut injury on right stifle.

9th Race: 200. The Littleover Stakes Div.I - (About) 1400 Metres. Horses rated 20 to 45 (10 Runners)
Permission was granted to Trainer Mr. S. Inayathulla to withdraw JAMES BOND (P.S. Chouhan) on veterinary grounds as it was found to be lame on right fore due to sprained shoulder. He was informed that he must produce a Fitness Certificate from the Club's Veterinary Officer before accepting with it again.
Trainer Mr. S. Padmanabhan was fined Rs.5,000/- for discrepancy in shoeing in respect of his charge REGAL BOAST (1st infringement).
ZEESHAN (Irvan Singh) planted and lost many lengths at the start. In view of its behaviour Trainer Mr. Darius Byramji was informed that he must not accept with it again until its behaviour improved to the satisfaction of the Stipendiary Stewards in one Mock Race on a race day on the race track.
TRAK ON FIRE (Arshad Alam) was slowly away.
GHALIB (B.L. Paswan) was inclined to run out between 1000 Metres and 500 Metres.

10th Race: 201. The Good-Bye Stakes - Div.I - (About) 1200 Metres. Horses rated 20 to 45, 4 years old and over (11 Runners)
RESURGENT (Arshad Alam) was extremely fractious in the gates, reared up and sat back for a considerable period of time. Under the circumstances it was permitted to be withdrawn before coming under Starters orders.
MAGIC WAVE (P S Chouhan) reared up as the gates released losing ground.

188. The Governor's Cup (Grade III) - (About) 2400 Metres.
4 years old and over.
The Stipendiary Stewards reported trainer Mr. S S Attaolahi (deputizing for trainer Mr. J S Dhariwal) to the Stewards for contravention of Rule No. 166 (b) of the BTC Rules of Racing for "Whilst representing trainer Mr. J S Dhariwal in saddling AGOSTINI in the above race he permitted a faulty bridle to be used on the colt which broke near the 1500 Metres". The Stewards held and enquiry after the last race on 14th August 2014 and examined trainer Mr. S S Attaollahi (representing trainer Mr. J S Dhariwal). After deliberations the Steward decided to fine trainer Mr. S S Attaollahi a sum of Rs.10,000/- for contravention of Rule No. 166 (b) of the BTC Rules of Racing in the above race.
