1st Race: 175. The Ministrella Plate - Div.II - (About) 1100 Metres. Maiden
Indian Horses 3 years old only (Horses who have run at least thrice but not
placed second, third or fourth even once ineligible) (7 Runners)
NAZANIN (Vivek) was extremely fractious, reared up and sat back for a considerable period of time and was found to have an injury on left saddle area. Under the circumstances it was permitted to be withdrawn on veterinary grounds before coming under Starter's orders. Trainer Mr. V. Lokanath was informed that he must produce a Fitness Certificate from the Club's Veterinary Officer before accepting with it again.
At the start REYNA and SPEEDSTRESS were slowly away.
Jockey P. Kiran Rai, the rider of RARE AND ELLUSIVE, was fined Rs.2,000/- for shifting in near 800 Metres causing CLIFDEN BAY (D.K. Ashish) to be checked.
Jockey P. Kiran Rai, the rider of RARE AND ELLUSIVE, was fined Rs.1,000/- for repeatedly looking back in the final 200 Metres for no apparent reason.
PINE ART (A.R. Pradeep) sustained a cut injury on left hind pastern.
RARE AND ELLUSIVE (P. Kiran Rai) sustained cut injury on right hind cannon.

2nd Race: 176. The Azhar Plate Div.II - (About) 1200 Metres. Horses rated 00 to 25 (9 Runners)
Permission was granted to Trainer Mr. V. Nayarana Gowda to withdraw SECRET PRAYER (P. Kiran Rai) on veterinary grounds as it was found to be lame on right fore due to inflammed shin. He was informed that he must produce a Fitness Certificate from the Club's Veterinary Officer before accepting with it again.
SILHOUETTE (Vinod Shinde) was slow to move when the gates were released.
After the winning post when pulling STAR OF DESIRE (J.H. Christopher) whipped around sharply.
Jockey M. Prabhakaran, the rider of SHAHRAAN, was fined Rs.1,000/- for the excessive use of the whip on his mount during the race (1st infringement).
MUSICAL ROMANCE (V.R. Jagadeesh) sustained cut injury on right hind pastern.

3rd Race: 177. The Ministrella Plate - Div.I - (About) 1100 Metres. Maiden

Permission was granted to Trainer Mr. M. Narredu to withdraw DORSODURO (G. Adarsh) on veterinary grounds as it was found to be lame on left fore due to inflammed tendon. He was informed that he must produce a Fitness Certificate from the Club's Veterinary Officer before accepting with it again.
SCENT OF SUCCESS (S. Mallikarjun) hung out from 900 Metres till making the home turn.
SCENT OF SUCCESS (S. Mallikarjun) ran detached from the field. Trainer Mr. Sharat Kumar was informed to ensure better performance of his charge in future.
ASIAN STAR (Md. Shoaib) raced greenly in the straight.

4th Race: 178. The Santorini Star Plate - Div.II (About) 1200 Metres
Horses rated 40 to 65, 4 years old and over (12 Runners)
STROMBOLITE was fractious in the gates.
SUMMER GOLD (A. Ramu) was slowly away losing many lengths at the start. Trainer Mr. Amit Caddy was informed that he must not accept with it again until its behaviour improved to the satisfaction of the Stipendiary Stewards in one Mock Race on a race day on the race track.
SUMMER GOLD (A. Ramu) hung 'in' in the straight placing A. Ramu at a disadvantage in riding his mount out. A post race veterinary examination revealed no abnormalities.
MEGHALAYA (Babu Singh) was presented in the saddling paddock with pacifiers and not pacifiers blinkers as shown in the official book. As no pacifiers blinkers were available, permission was given for MEGHALAYA to race in pacifiers only. Following an enquiry Trainer Mr. S. Britto was fined Rs.1,000/-.
Approaching winning post SHINNECOCK HILLS (S. John) shifted out inconveniencing ASSIDUOUS (P. Trevor).
Near the 100 Metres LITTLE LOVE (Yash Narredu) eased from STROMBOLITE (Anjar Alam) thereafter Jockey Yash Narredu failed to ride his mount out to the winning post. Jockey Yash Narredu was fined Rs.5,000/-.
LITTLE LOVE (Yash Narredu) was impounded for veterinary examination but no abnormality was reported.
LITTLE LOVE (Yash Narredua) sustained a cut injury on the right hock.
SCUFFLE (J.H.Christopher) was impounded for veterinary examination and on examination the Chief Veterinary Officer reported that it pulled up lame on left fore due to sprained fetlock. Trainer Mr. Sriram Komandur was informed that he must produce a Fitness Certificate from the Club's Veterinary Officer before accepting with it again.
Routine Sample was taken for analysis from the winner SHINNECOCK HILLS.
5th Race: 179. The Lt. Col. Gaunt Memorial Cup - (About) 1200 Metres. Horses rated 60 and above (12 Runners)
FAIR GAME (D.K. Ashish) was slowly away.
Near the 1000 Metres, AMAZING REDD (Imran Chisty) was steadied when racing on the inside of ABSOLUTE MAJORITY (P.S. Chouhan).
Jockey A. Ramu, the rider of IRISH SONG, was fined Rs.1,000/- for shifting in and causing interference to HILLSBORO (V.R. Jagadeesh) which in turn passed it on to TALISKER (M. Prabhakaran) passing the 800 Metres.
Jockey P.S. Chouhan, the rider of ABSOLUTE MAJORITY, reported that his mount was hanging in throughout the race. The horse was impounded for veterinary examination. On examination by the Chief Veterinary Officer it was reported to have pulled up lame on left fore due to sprained fetlock joint. Trainer Mr. S. Dominic was informed that he must produce a Fitness Certificate from the Club's Veterinary Officer before accepting with it again.
APPARITION (Ryan Marshall) hung in throughout . The horse was impounded for veterinary examination but no abnormality was reported. However, Trainer Mr. J.S. Dhariwal was informed to take appropriate corrective measures before accepting with it again.
Jockey S. John, the rider of CAPE FERRAT, reported that he lost his whip
just passing the winning post.
Routine Sample was taken for analysis from the winner ch g CAPE FERRAT.
6th Race: 180. The Lively Emprey Trophy - (About) 1400 Metres. Maiden Indian Horses 3 years old only (Horses who have run at least thrice but not placed second, third or fourth even once ineligible) (Terms) (11 Runners)
ZUCCHERO (P.S. Chouhan) was permitted to be withdrawn. Trainer Mr. Azhar Ali was fined Rs.10,000/- by the Stewards for having accepted ZUCCHERO when the owner was under UFL ban.
VEELENA (B. Harish) ran detached from the field. Trainer Mr. Pradeep Annaiah was informed to ensure better performance of his charge in future.

7th Race: 181. The Santorini Star Plate - Div.I (About) 1200 Metres Horses
rated 40 to 65, 4 years old and over (12 Runners)
Approaching the 1000 Metres SALZBURG (Imran Chisty) checked as a result of being
tightened. When KINGSTON TOWN shifted in slightly brushing AUSTIN (S. John)
inwards at the same time WIND AND FLIGHT which was racing greenly shifted out
bumping ARTORIUS (A. Sandesh) on to SALZBURG (Imran Chisty). WINGS OF FORTUNE
(G. Adarsh) which was racing behind took evasive action. No blame could be
attached to a particular rider.
Jockey Vinod Shinde, the rider of ACE ANGELFIRE, reported that his mount was hanging in throughout the race. The horse was impounded for veterinary examination but no abnormality was reported other than a cut injury on right hock.
CHAMPAKALI (Darren Williams) lost its right hind shoe during the race.
WINGS OF FORTUNE (G. Adarsh) sustained cut injury on right gaskin.

8th Race: 182. The Azhar Plate Div.I - (About) 1200 Metres. Horses rated 00 to 25 (8 Runners)
Permission was granted toTrainer Mr. S. Narredu to withdraw ICEPICK WILLIE (Vinod Shinde) on veterinary grounds as it was found to be lame on left fore due to inflammed tendon. He was informed that he must produce a Fitness Certificate from the Club's Veterinary Officer before accepting with it again.
COLOUR OF THE WINNERS was slowly away.
REVA (Ajeet Kumar) jumped out awkwardly.
Approaching the 1000 Metres ONE TO NOTE (T.S. Jodha) steadied from FLAME'S FURY as a result DANUBE (N. Ganesh) and REVA (Ajeet Kumar) were inconvenienced.
REVA (Ajeet Kumar) which began awkwardly, lost its right fore plate during the race and sustained a cut injury on the right hock.
