1st Race:     77. The Diablo Plate – Div.III - (About) 1200 Metres. Horses rated 20  to 45, 4 years old and over  (12 Runners).

 

HANDSOME SOLDIER (Vivek) was slowly away.

 

Jockey Bhawani Singh, the rider of OUR LITTLE DRAGON, reported that his mount hung inwards in the straight.  Trainer Mr. Warren Singh was informed to take appropriate corrective measures before accepting with it again.

 

Near the 1000 Metres, HANDSOME SOLDIER (Vivek) ran on to the heels of ALLEZ ROYALE (Akshay Kumar) and checked then shifted outwards forcing CHEDDAR FACE (Ryan Marshall) to race wide until after making the home turn.

 

It was reported after the race that SHAHRAAN (B. Nayak) pulled up lame on left fore.  Trainer Mr. V. Lokanath was informed that he must produce a Fitness Certificate from the Club’s Veterinary Officer before accepting with it again.

 

OUR LITTLE DRAGON (Bhawani Singh) which sustained a cut injury on right hock.

 

GIFT OF LOVE (Rayan Ahmed R) sustained a cut injury on right gaskin.

 

EMANCIPATION (Shrikant Kamble) sustained a cut injury on right hock.  

 

Routine Sample was taken for analysis from the winner b m SOUTHERN SKY.

 

2nd Race:     78. The Royal Challenge Plate –(About) 1200 Metres. Horses rated 00  to 25, 4 years old and over (12 Runners).

 

Jockey Deepak Singh was fined Rs.5,000/- for having accepted to ride CRIQUETTE when he could not draw the declared weight at the scales which was in excess of 2.5 Kgs. Subsequently permission was granted to Trainer Mr. Neil Darashah to substitute Jockey S.K. Paswan to ride CRIQUETTE.  Trainer Mr. D. Netto the Master Trainer of Jockey Deepak Singh was also fined Rs.5,000/- for having permitted him to ride CRIQUETTE  when the Jockey could not draw the declared weight.

 

JOEY (Imran Chisty) was slowly away, then urged along by Jockey Imran Chisty but was forced to travel wide from 1000 Metres to the 500 Metres covering extra ground.

 

Jockey Aqeed Waheed, the rider of WINDAMARE, was fined Rs.2,000/- for coming in and causing interference to INSIGHT (R. Anand) which in turn passed it on to VIENTO PLATA (Vivek) soon after jumping out of the starting gates.

 

Jockey D’nuSingh Deora, the rider of MEHERANI, was reprimanded for shifting out and causing interference to WINDAMARE (Aqeed Waheed) which in turn passed it on to CRIQUETTE (S.K. Paswan) between 850 Metres and 800 Metres.

 

It was reported after the 4th Race at 3.45 p.m. that BREAKING AWAY (Yash Narredu) burst its blood vessels (endoscopy Grade II).  Trainer Mr. Pradeep Annaiah was informed that he must produce a Fitness Certificate from the Club’s Veterinary Officer before accepting with it again.

 

It was reported after the 4th Race at 3.50 p.m. that CRIQUETTE (S.K. Paswan) burst its blood vessels (endoscopy Grade III).  Trainer Mr. Neil Darashah was informed that he must produce a Fitness Certificate from the Club’s Veterinary Officer before accepting with it again.

 

Surprise Sample was taken for analysis from b f BREAKING AWAY.  

 

Routine Sample was taken for analysis from the winner b f MEHERANI.

 

3rd Race:     79. The  Own Opinion Trophy  – (About) 1100 Metres. Maiden Horses 3 years old only (Horses who have run at least thrice but not placed second, third or fourth even once ineligible) (Terms) (11 Runners).

 

Permission was granted to Trainer Mr. Aravind G to withdraw ADMIRALS BELLE on veterinary grounds as it was found to be lame on left fore due to sprained shoulder. He was informed that he must produce a Fitness Certificate from the Club’s Veterinary Officer before accepting with it again.

 

FIGHT FOR FLASH (Jaykumar) after jumping out, swerved towards right, lost many lengths and ran detached from the field. In view of its behaviour Trainer Mr. M. Narredu was informed that he must not accept with it again until its behaviour improved to the satisfaction of the Stipendiary Stewards in one Mock Race on a race day on the race track.

 

IRISH PRINCE (H.G. Rathod) was slowly away.

 

AKHA TEEJ (D.K. Ashish) and LOZEN (Vinod Shinde) bumped at the start.

 

PICTURE PERFECT (Deepak Singh) laid on to RARE AND FAMOUS (V.R. Jagadeesh) passing the 800 Metres causing RARE AND FAMOUS to lose position. Both horses became unbalanced.

 

FIGHT FOR FLASH (Jaykumar) sustained injury on right hind cannon.

 

PICTURE PERFECT (Deepak Singh) sustained injury on right hind cannon.

 

Routine Sample was taken for analysis from the winner b f DANBURITE.

 

 

4th Race:     80. The Diablo Plate – Div.I - (About) 1200 Metres. Horses rated 20  to 45, 4 years old and over  (12 Runners).

 

Jockey Surya P, the rider of BE INSPIRED, reported that his mount was not galloping fluently during the race.  The horse was impounded for veterinary examination but no abnormality was reported. Trainer Mr. Irfan Ghatala was questioned as to the poor performance of BE INSPIRED.  The trainer stated that the horse was interfered at the start and it is a lazy horse by nature and also that it had a tendency to put on weight. His intension is to run it in a 1600 Metres race in the next outing.

 

It was reported after the race that FOREST TERN (A. Sandesh) burst its blood vessels.  Trainer Mr. Arvind Ganapathy was informed that he must produce a Fitness Certificate from the Club’s Veterinary Officer before accepting with it again.

 

ACTIVE GREY (Ashok Kumar A) sustained injury on right hind cannon.

 

MAGNETIZE (B. Nayak) was impounded for veterinary examination and all four shoes were removed and weighed.  The weight of all four shoes was found to be 504 grams.

5th Race:     81. The Civil Service Cup – (About) 1400 Metres. Horses rated 60 and above, 4 years old and over  (11 Runners).

 

SPEED HAWK (Akshay Kumar) splayed its left fore plate on the way to the starting gates. Under the circumstances it was permitted to be withdrawn before coming under Starter’s orders.

 

PENTAGRAM (P. Trevor) was slowly away.

 

Near the 1200 Metres CLICK (B. Nayak) eased from MERION (D.K. Ashish).

 

Near 1100 Metres JERSEY SHORE (Suraj Narredu) and KINGSTON TOWN (J. Chenoy) bumped. 

 

It was reported after the 7the race at 5.10 p.m. that ETHOPHIAN (Surya P.) burst its blood vessels (endoscopy grade III). Trainer Mr. V. Narayana Gowda was informed that he must produce a Fitness Certificate from the Club’s Veterinary Officer before accepting with it again. 

 

CLICK (B. Nayak) was impounded for veterinary examination and all four shoes were removed and weighed.  The weight of all four shoes was found to be 475 grams.

 

Routine Sample was taken for analysis from the winner b f ALEXANDRA MILLS.

 

6th Race:     82. The Lumbini Stud Plate - (About) 1200 Metres. Horses rated 40  to 65  (11 Runners).

 

PEARL REWARD (S. Zervan) was extremely fractious on the way to the starting gates, dropped the rider and ran riderless round the course.  Under the circumstances it was permitted to be withdrawn before coming under starting orders.

 

PORT BLAIR (Ashok Kumar A) and BELLA PINKY (Adarsh G) were slowly away.

 

Trainer Mr. Imtiaz Khan and Jockey G. Adarsh were questioned regarding the running and riding of BELLA PINKY.  The trainer stated that the horse has a habit of throwing his head up at the start and in this race also the horse threw its head up and lost few lengths.  The Jockey corroborated the statement of the trainer. The horse was impounded for veterinary examination and on examination the Chief Veterinary Officer reported that it had burst its blood vessels.  Trainer Mr. Imtiaz Khan was informed that he must produce a Fitness Certificate from the Club’s Veterinary Officer before accepting with it again. In view of its behaviour Trainer Mr. Imtiaz Khan was informed that he must not accept with it again until its behaviour improved to the satisfaction of the Stipendiary Stewards in one jump out on a starting gate practice day.

 

FAIR GAME (A. Ramu) laid out at the 900 Metres turn.

 

Jockey Suraj Narredu, the rider of GOLDBERG, reported that his mount was hanging in throughout the race.  Trainer Mr. Neil Darashah was informed to take appropriate corrective measures before accepting with it again.

 

Routine Sample was taken for analysis from the winner ch f GOLDBERG.

 

7th Race:     83. The J. Lingaiah Memorial Trophy - (About) 1600 Metres. Horses rated 40  to 65, 4 years old and over  (12 Runners).

 

Jockey Suraj Narredu, the rider of ZUCCHERO, placed II by the Judge objected against Jockey P.S. Chouhan, the rider of HAVELOCK PRINCE, placed I for “from the 350 Metres onwards the winner has come across and pushed ANAROSA who came on to me and tightened me.  Again at the 150 Metres the winner started drifting out taking my ground whereby I lost considerable ground and lost a certain race”. The Stewards held an enquiry immediately after the race and interviewed the jockeys concerned.  After deliberations, they decided to overrule the objection.

 

Approaching the 450 Metres MYSTIC MUSIC (Yash Narredu) eased from HAVELOCK PRINCE (P.S. Chouhan).

 

From 400 Metres to 200 Metres STRENGTHANDWONDER (T.S. Jodha) was held up for a clear passage when racing behind SHEER ELATION (P. Trevor).

 

Jockey Suraj Narredu, the rider of ZUCCHERO, reported that he lost his whip passing the 200 Metres.
