Penetrometer Reading: 4.7 Cms
(Railing position: Railing fixed at its original position from 1600 Metres to 1000 Metres, railing fixed at an average width of 3.5 Metres from 1000 Metres to 400 Metres and railing fixed at its original position from 400 Metres to winning post).
1st Race: 85. The His Majesty Plate – Div.II - (About) 1200 Metres. Maiden Horses 3 years old only (Horses who have run at least thrice but not placed second, third or fourth even once ineligible) (Terms) (11 Runners).
CAMERON (P. Trevor) was inspected by the Chief Veterinary Officer at the start and passed fit to race.
SONG OF MY HEART (Kavraj Singh) was slowly away.
DOUBLE DON (Aqeed Waheed) after jumping out, swerved towards right; as a result the Jockey got unbalanced and was dislodged from his mount soon after jumping out of the starting gates and the colt did not take part in the race. In view of its behaviour, Trainer Mr. Mahmood Khan was informed that he must not accept with it again until its behaviour improved to the satisfaction of the Stipendiary Stewards in one Mock Race on a race day on the race track.
Jockey Akshay Kumar, the rider of WHITE GOLD, reported that the horse was slow to muster early speed even after his urgings and he finished on well in the straight.
It was reported after the race that DOWNTON ABBEY (Suraj Narredu) pulled up lame on left hind due to sprained fetlock. Trainer Mr. Arjun Mangalorkar was informed that he must produce a Fitness Certificate from the Club’s Veterinary Officer before accepting with it again.
RED CEDAR (A. Ashok Kumar) when struck with the whip ducked out sharply passing 200 Metres.
DRACARYS (Adarsh G) was impounded for veterinary examination and all four shoes were removed and weighed. The weight of all four shoes was found to be 478 grams.
DOWNTON ABBEY (Suraj Narredu) sustained cut injury on left hind.
Routine Sample was taken for analysis from the winner b f CAMERON.
2nd Race: 86. The Mahalakshmi Plate – (About) 1600 Metres. Horses rated 00 to 25 (10 Runners).
Jockey Bhawani Singh, the rider of KINGS KID, reported that his mount was hanging in throughout the race. The horse was impounded for veterinary examination and no abnormality was reported. However, Trainer Mr. F Sirajuddin was informed to take appropriate corrective measures before accepting with it again.
Jockey A. Ashhad Asbar, the rider of LOVE IS LIFE, was fined Rs.1,000/- for the excessive use of the whip on his mount during the race (1st infringement).
Jockey Suraj Narredu was questioned over the performance of DANCING PRINCESS. He said that his mount was left in a position where he carted the field up to the runaway leader and once DANCING PRINCESS (Suraj Narredu) had gone past FANCY NUMBER (Vishal) his mount gave nothing under his hard riding. The horse was impounded for veterinary examination but no abnormality was reported.
Trainer Mr. Nikhil M Punna and Jockey Vishal were questioned over the running of FANCY NUMBER. Mr. Nikhil M Punna said he instructed Vishal to lead if possible and ride out in the straight but he was surprised by the lead FANCY NUMBER established. Due to Vishal’s inexperience having had only eight race rides he was informed to display a better judgement in future. The horse was impounded for veterinary examination but no abnormality was reported.

3rd Race: 87. The Cape Dance Plate - (About) 1400 Metres. Maiden Horses 3 years old only (Horses who have run at least thrice but not placed second, third or fourth even once ineligible) (Terms) (11 Runners).
HEAVEN IS HERE (S. Zervan) was slowly away.
Shortly after the start AMETHYST (Kiran Naidu) and NATIVE ELEMENTS (Yash Narredu) bumped.
Jockey P. Trevor, the rider of SILKEN WATER, was reprimanded for coming in and inconveniencing HEAVEN IS HERE (S. Zervan) on his inside passing the 950 Metres.
Near the 300 Metres AMETHYST (Kiran Naidu) shifted in causing SILKEN WATER (P. Trevor) to ease. Jockey Kiran Naidu was reprimanded and told to keep his mounts straight in future.
It was observed that HEAVEN IS HERE (S. Zervan) was hanging in, in the straight. The horse was impounded for veterinary examination but no abnormality was reported. However, Trainer Mr. S Padmanabhan was informed to take appropriate corrective measures before accepting with it again.
GLOW AND EMBERS (Deep Shanker) sustained a bleeding cut injury on left hock.
DAENERYS (R. Vaibhav) was impounded for veterinary examination and all four shoes were removed and weighed. The weight of all four shoes was found to be 488 grams.
Routine Sample was taken for analysis from the winner b f HEAVEN IS HERE.
4th Race: 88. The His Majesty Plate – Div.I - (About) 1200 Metres. Maiden Horses 3 years old only (Horses who have run at least thrice but not placed second, third or fourth even once ineligible) (Terms) (12 Runners).
Shortly after the start BLAZING TOUCH (A. Ashhad Asbar), POSSIMPOSSIBLE (Ranjeet Singh) and CUSTOM BUILT (M.F. Ali Khan) bumped.
FOREVER BULLISH (Deepak Singh) which was slowly away, veered out at the start.
STEVALENA (Yash Narredu) blundered at the 850 Metres.
LOVELY PRINCESS (M. Chettri) raced greenly in the straight.
CUSTOM BUILT (M.F. Ali Khan) injured on right hind coronet.
Routine Sample was taken for analysis from the winner ch g GARUDA.
5th Race: 89. The Justice P. Medapa Memorial Cup - (About) 1400 Metres. Horses rated 40 to 65 (10 Runners).
SEVEN OF HEARTS (A. Ashhad Asbar) jumped out bumping PERSIAN PRINCE (D.K. Ashish) on to SECRET DIMENSION (A. Ashok Kumar).
Jockey G. Sai Vamshi, the rider of HILLTON, reported that his saddle slipped back passing the 400 Metres. Trainer Mr. Nikhil M Punna was fined Rs.3,000/- for faulty saddling.
ALL IN (Adarsh G) was inclined to layout from 900 Metres to 500 Metres.
Jockey D.K. Ashish was questioned over the performance of PERSIAN PRINCE. He said he was instructed to sit well up and do his best in the straight. He stated that after receiving interference at the start he was put back to the rear of the field. Then near the 1100 Metres he eased from ALL IN (Adarsh G) and was unable to improve his position from 800 Metres to 400 Metres when there were horses in front of him. After viewing the CCTV his explanation was noted.
ALL IN (Adarsh G) was impounded for veterinary examination and all four shoes were removed and weighed. The weight of all four shoes was found to be 481 grams.
Routine Sample was taken for analysis from the winner b g THE LIEUTENANT.
6th Race: 90. The Fillies Championship Stakes (Grade I) – (About) 1600 Metres. For 3 year old Indian Fillies (Foaled in 2012 (Terms) (16 Runners).
AGELESS (Yash Narredu) was slowly away.
MYRTLEWOOD (D.K. Ashish) brushed the rails near 950 Metres.
Near the 100 Metres FLAMBOYANCE (Shiva Kumar S) was held up when making ground behind MYRTLEWOOD (D.K. Ashish).
Near the 100 Metres SACRED FIRE (Kavraj Singh) laid out when struck with the whip inconveniencing MYRTLEWOOD (D.K. Ashish).
Jockey P. Trevor, the rider of ANGEL DUST, reported that his mount was inclined to lay out throughout.
ZAHAB (A.R. Pradeep) hung out throughout the race racing wide and detached from the field. Trainer Mr. Karthik G was informed to take appropriate corrective measures and ensure better performance of his charge in future.

7th Race: 91. The Elusive Pimpernel Trophy - (About) 1200 Metres. Horses rated 60 and above (12 Runners).
POWER OF TIME (T.S. Jodha) and HIDDEN SOLDIER (Ashok Kumar A) were fractious in the gates.
POWER OF TIME (T.S. Jodha) was slowly away.
EMERGING STAR (B. Nayak) and TRIUMPH (Vinod Shinde) bumped at the start.
Jockey S.G. Prasad, the rider of ERAGON, was fined Rs.2,000/- for shifting out and causing interference to TRIUMPH on his outside rounding the final bend.
INQUISITION (Shiva Kumar S) was impounded for veterinary examination at 5.15 p.m. for lameness and injuries and no abnormality was reported.
An enquiry is being held into the running and riding of INQUISITION trained by Mr. Darius R Byramji and ridden by Jockey Shiva Kumar S.

8th Race: 92. The Star Supreme Plate - (About) 1400 Metres. Horses rated 20 to 45 (10 Runners).
Permission was granted to Trainer Mr. G. Sandhu to withdraw ASIAN STAR on veterinary grounds as it was found to be lame on left fore due to inflammed hoof. He was informed that he must produce a Fitness Certificate from the Club’s Veterinary Officer before accepting with it again.
AMAZE (H.G. Rathod) was extremely fractious, ducked under the gates whereby the rider was injured. Under the circumstances it was permitted to be withdrawn before coming under Starter’s orders.
INDIAN BRAHMOS (D. Patel) was slowly away.
ZERMATT (Irvan Singh) planted and lost many lengths at the start. In view of its behaviour trainer Mr. R.V. Manohar was informed that he must not accept with it again until its behaviour improved to the satisfaction of the Stipendiary Stewards in one Mock Race on a race day on the race track.
ABLE MASTER (R. Vaibhav) was impounded for veterinary examination and all four shoes were removed and weighed. The weight of all four shoes was found to be 408 grams.
Compulsory Sample was taken for analysis from COLOUR OF GOLD.
Routine Sample was taken for analysis from the winner b g FIRST IN COMMAND.
9th Race: 93. The Fire Haven Plate - (About) 1100 Metres. Horses rated 20 to 45 (12 Runners).
SHE LOVES IT (Adarsh G) was slowly away and lost few lengths at the start. In view of its behaviour Trainer Mr. V. Lokanath was informed that he must not accept with it again until its behaviour improved to the satisfaction of the Stipendiary Stewards in one jump out on a starting gate practice day.
Jockey Syed Imran, the rider of ANMOL HIRA, was fined Rs.1,000/- for coming in and causing interference to DESERT GILT (A. Ashhad Asbar), and SONIC STAR (M.F. Ali Khan) as a result MR BIG SHOT (P. Trevor) travelling directly behind had to check and shift out near 950 Metres.
Jockey A. Ashhad Asbar, the rider of DESERT GILT, reported that he lost his whip approaching the 400 Metres.
It was observed that the saddle on SHIDEH (Imran Chisty) shifted back completely in the final 150 Metres of the race whereby the jockey had considerable difficulty in riding out his mount past the winning post. Trainer Mr. Nikhil M Punna was fined Rs.3,000/- for faulty saddling.
