1st Race: 117. The Supervite Plate – Div.II - (About) 1200 Metres. Horses rated 00 to 25, 4 years old and over (10 Runners).
ICEPICK WILLIE (Rajesh N) bumped SHAFT (S.K. Paswan) soon after jumping out of the starting gates.
Jockey Hindu Singh, the rider of JEYEM’S PRIDE, was fined Rs.2,000/- for coming in and causing interference to FLYING BULLET (V.R. Jagadeesh) on his inside approaching the 1000 Metres and also for shifting out and causing KIMBERLEY (A. Ramu) and I’LL HAVE ONE MORE (Abhishek Pawar) to be inconvenienced passing the 1000 Metres.
Jockey V.R. Jagadeesh, the rider of FLYING BULLET, was reprimanded for not exercising sufficient control over his mount in the final 200 Metres.
It was reported after the race that RED ANGEL (T.S. Jodha) pulled up lame on left fore. Trainer Mr. S. Dominic was informed that he must produce a Fitness Certificate from the Club’s Veterinary Officer before accepting with it again.
Trainer Mr. G. Sandhu was questioned regarding the riding of Jockey S.K. Paswan
on SHAFT in this race. After noting the explanations the
Trainer was charged for contravention of Rule 114(b)(i) of the BTC Rules of
Racing.
It was reported after the 3rd race at 2.45 p.m. that WESTERN LADY (Rajesh Kumar M) burst its blood vessels at 2.45 p.m. (endoscopy grade IV). Trainer Mr. Narayana Gowda V was informed that he must produce a Fitness Certificate from the Club’s Veterinary Officer before accepting with it again.
JAYEM’S PRIDE (Hindu Singh) sustained a cut injury on left hind fetlock.
Routine Sample was taken for analysis from the winner dk b m JEYEM’S PRIDE.
2nd Race: 118. The Rare Gem Plate – (About) 1100 Metres. Maiden Horses 3 years old only (Horses who have run at least thrice but not placed second, third or fourth even once ineligible) (Terms) (12 Runners).
Jockey M. Chettri, the rider of CALICO JACK, was fined Rs.5,000/- for not making sufficient effort on his mount during the race. The horse was impounded for veterinary examination but no abnormality was reported.
Jockey Arshad Alam was questioned regarding the riding on his mount CAPTAIN GENERAL. The Jockey stated that his mount was uncomfortable passing the 1000 Metres as such he had to grab hold of his mount thereby losing position. His explanation were noted.
Routine Sample was taken for analysis from the winner ch c TOPAZ.
3rd Race: 119. The Smt. Bhagirathi Memorial Trophy Div.II - (About) 1400 Metres. Horses rated 40 to 65 (9 Runners).
It was observed that DAZZLING BAY (A. Sandesh) shied inwards as a result STRENGTHANDWONDER (T.S. Jodha) was inconvenienced and lost position approaching the 1200 Metres.
Routine Sample was taken for analysis from the winner b g SUPREME DOMINATOR.
4th Race: 120. The Supervite Plate – Div.I - (About) 1200 Metres. Horses rated 00 to 25, 4 years old and over (10 Runners).
JULIUS (S. Guruprasad) after jumping out, slightly veered out to the left and refused to raise a fluent gallop for the first 50 Metres. In view of its behaviour Trainer Mr. Mahmood Khan was informed that he must not accept with it again until its behaviour improved to the satisfaction of the Stipendiary Stewards in one Mock Race on a race day on the race track.
It was reported after the race that ATLANTIC CITY (Syed Asgar) pulled up lame on right fore tendon. Trainer Mr. Pradeep Annaiah was informed that he must produce a Fitness Certificate from the Club’s Veterinary Officer before accepting with it again.

5th Race: 121. The Smt. Bhagirathi Memorial Trophy Div.I - (About) 1400 Metres. Horses rated 40 to 65 (8 Runners).
THAT’S MY DARLING (Akshay Kumar) was slowly away.
ARTIC ATTRACTION (Shiva Kumar S) jumped awkwardly outwards and inconvenienced TRUST ME BOY (A. Ramu) on its outside soon after jumping out of the starting gates.
Jockey Akshay Kumar, the rider of THAT’S MY DARLING placed II by the Judge objected against Jockey D’nu Singh Deora, the rider of STARLET placed I for “in the final 300 Metres my filly was full of gallop and the winner came in cut across and took my ground and came in sharply whereby I had to stop riding which cost me a certain race”. The Stewards held an enquiry immediately after the race and interviewed the Jockeys concerned. After deliberations, the Stewards decided to uphold the objection and the order of placings is as under:

Jockey D’nu Singh Deora was fined Rs.5,000/- for shifting in sharply and causing interference to ARTIC ATTRACTION (Shiva Kumar S) on his inside which had to be checked by its rider as a result SECRET DIMENSION (Rajesh Kumar M) travelling directly behind was inconvenienced passing the 350 Metres and for again continuing to shift in and causing severe interference to THAT’S MY DARLING (Akshay Kumar) on his inside passing the 300 Metres.
It was reported after the race that AUMENTO (Suraj Narredu) burst its blood vessels at 4.18 p.m. (endoscopy grade II). Trainer Mr. Rajesh Narredu was informed that he must produce a Fitness Certificate from the Club’s Veterinary Officer before accepting with it again.

6th Race: 122. The Juvenile Sprinters’ Million (Grade III) – (About) 1200 Metres. For 3 year old Horses (Foaled in 2012) (Terms) (9 Runners).
HURRAH (Imran Chisty) was examined at the starting gates by the Club’s Veterinary officer and was found to be trotting lame on left fore due to a sore shin. Under the circumstances it was permitted to be withdrawn on veterinary grounds before coming under starter’s orders. Trainer Mr. Darius Byramji was informed that he must produce a fitness certificate from the Club’s veterinary officer before accepting with it again.
Jockey T S Jodha, the rider of KNIGHTHOOD was fined Rs.1,000/- for shifting in and causing interference to MARINE ONE (P Trevor) on his inside passing the 250 Metres.
REFERENT (A. Sandesh) sustained a cut injury on left hind fetlock.

7th Race: 123. The Pendragon Trophy - (About) 1400 Metres. Maiden Horses 3 years old only (Horses who have run at least thrice but not placed second, third or fourth even once ineligible) (Terms) (11 Runners).
IGNITION (R. Vaibhav) was permitted to be withdrawn on veterinary grounds before coming under Starter’s orders as the colt reared up and fell at the starting gates while loading. Advised to give adequate gate practice.
AMAZING STRIKER (V.R. Jagadeesh) was slowly away.
BEAU SABREUR (Arshad Alam) clipped the heels of ADMIRAL MESSI (Suraj Narredu) and stumbled dislodging the rider approaching the 700 Metres.
SWANKY (Shiv Kumar S) had to be steadied off the heels of BEAU SABREUR (Arshad Alam) approaching the 300 Metres.
ADOLF (A. Imran Khan) walked out of the gates losing many lengths and was very lethargic in finding its stride till about 600 Metres in spite of the best efforts of the Jockey, after which the horse was observed to be lugging in when being urged by the Jockey and finished on very strongly in the end. Jockey was questioned and the horse was impounded for veterinary examination but no abnormality was reported. Trainer Mr. S. Dominic was informed that he must not accept with it again until its behaviour improved to the satisfaction of the Stipendiary Stewards in one jump out on a starting gate practice day.
HAND OF FURY (Rajesh Kumar M) was impounded for veterinary examination but no abnormality was reported.
An enquiry is being held into the running and riding of SWAKSHA, trained by Mr. V Narayana Gowda and ridden by Jockey A Ashok Kumar in the above race. SWAKSHA was impounded for veterinary examination but no abnormality was reported.

8th Race: 124. The Col. Rajkumar C. Desraj Urs Memorial Cup - (About) 1200 Metres. Horses rated 60 and above, 4 years old and over (12 Runners).
Jockey V.R. Jagadeesh replaced the indisposed Jockey Arshad Alam on ABSTRACT ART.
Jockey B. Mahesh, the rider of SECRET PUNCH, was fined Rs.2,000/- for cutting across the field sharply before passing the red marker post causing JERSEY SHORE to check and fall back and travel last in the race.
Jockey B. Mahesh, the rider of SECRET PUNCH, was fined Rs.1,000/- for the improper use of whip wherein he hit Jockey P. Trevor with the whip 3 times passing the 250 Metres.
NIMFEA (P. Trevor) sustained cut injury on right fore cannon.

9th Race: 125. The Honeyday Plate – (About) 1200 Metres. Horses rated 20 to 45 (12 Runners).
Jockey Sai Vamshi replaced the indisposed Jockey Arshad Alam on FLASH FIRE.
Jockey V.R. Jagdeesh, the rider of JET SET GO reported that in the last 100 Metres that his reins got entangled in his whip and thereby he lost his whip.
FLASH FIRE (G Sai Vamshi) ran detached from the field. Trainer Mr. Faraz Arshad was informed to ensure better performance of his charge in future.
It was reported after the race that SOUL MAGIC (C S Vikrant) burst its blood vessels. Trainer Mr. Rajesh Narredu was informed that he must produce a fitness certificate from the Club’s veterinary officer before accepting with it again.
EVERYONE KNOWS ME (A Ashok Kumar) planted, lost many lengths at the start and ran detached from the field. Trainer Mr. Kishan Thomas was informed that he must not accept with it again until its behaviour improved to the satisfaction of the Stipendiary Stewards in one mock race on a race day on the race track.
It was reported after the race that RESEMBLANCE (M Chettri) pulled up lame on right hind. Trainer Mr. Mahmood Khan was informed that he must produce a fitness certificate from the Club’s veterinary officer before accepting with it again.
