RACING INCIDENTS

Penetrometer Reading: 3.6 Cms
(Railing position: Railing fixed at average width of 7.5 Metres from 1600 Metres to the winning post from its original position)
1st Race: 69. The Everynsky Trophy – Div.II - (About) 1200 Metres. Maiden Horses 3 years old only (Horses who have run at least thrice but not placed second, third or fourth even once ineligible) (Terms) (9 Runners).
Jockey S. Shiva Kumar, the rider of SWANKY, was fined Rs.1,000/- for shifting out and causing interference to VEDA (R. Anand) on his outside in the final 50 Metres of the race.
SPIRITOFKNOWLEDGE (M. Prabhakaran) ran detached from the field. The horse was impounded for veterinary examination but no abnormality was reported. However Trainer Mr. S Britto was informed to ensure better performance of his charge in future.
ENGADINER (Neeraj Rawal) ran detached from the field. The horse was impounded for veterinary examination and on examination by the Club’s Veterinary officer it was reported after the last race at 6:15 p.m that it had burst its blood vessels (Endoscopy – Grade III). Trainer Mr. Neil Darashah was informed that he must produce a fitness certificate from the Club’s Veterinary officer before accepting with it again.
South lake (Kiran Naidu) sustained a cut injury on left fore cannon.
Routine Sample was taken for analysis from the winner b g NEW CROWN.
2nd Race: 70. The Bold Gesture Plate – (About) 1100 Metres. Horses rated 00 to 25 (10 Runners).
Permission was granted to trainer Mr. Pradeep Annaiah to withdraw HONOURABLE EMPRESS on veterinary grounds as it was found to be lame on left fore due to sprained knee. He was informed that he must produce a Fitness Certificate from the Club’s Veterinary Officer before accepting with it again.
CLASSY GESTURES (Abhishek Pawar) and APOLLO GALAXY (Syed Imran) bumped at the start.
Jockey A. Imran Khan, the rider of JEYEM’S PRIDE, was fined Rs.2,000/- for coming in and causing interference to TRAPEZOID (Irvan Singh) which clipped the heels of JEYEM’S PRIDE (A. Imran Khan) then shifted out bumping ICECREAM (Janardhan Paswan) near 950 Metres.
Approaching the 900 Metres, JEYEM’S PRIDE (A. Imran Khan) shifted out inconveniencing CLASSY GESTURES (Abhishek Pawar) and near the 850 Metres, JEYEM’S PRIDE (A. Imran Khan) continued out forcing APOLLO GALAXY (Syed Imran) and FLYING BULLET (D. Gnaneshwar) wider on the track.
It was reported after the race that INTENSIVE ACT (Bhawani Singh) pulled up lame on left hind. The gelding was kept under observation till the last race and an Endoscopy at 6:05 p.m revealed that it had burst its blood vessels (Grade IV). Trainer Mr. Sriram Komandur was informed that he must produce a Fitness Certificate from the Club’s Veterinary Officer before accepting with it again.
CLASSY GESTURES (Abhishek Pawar) was impounded for veterinary examination but no abnormality was reported.
GAGAN STAR (M Chettri) sustained cut injury on left hind fetlock.
JEYEM’S PRIDE (A Imran Khan) sustained cut injury on left hind cannon.
Routine Sample was taken for analysis from the winner b g TRAPEZOID.
3rd Race: 71. The Everynsky Trophy – Div.I - (About) 1200 Metres. Maiden Horses 3 years old only (Horses who have run at least thrice but not placed second, third or fourth even once ineligible) (Terms) (9 Runners).
Trainer Mr. P Shroff was fined Rs.1,000/- for failing to produce the declared colors at the scales in respect of his charge MIRACLE OF LOVE (D K Ashish). Subsequently ‘all black’ emergency colors were permitted to be used.
HEJJE (M. Chettri) jumped awkwardly outwards and inconvenienced SPIRIT AND TRUTH (D. Gnaneshwar) and MIRACLE OF LOVE (D.K. Ashish) soon after jumping out of the starting gates.
BABOOSH (M.F. Ali Khan) ran detached till the last 400 Metres. Trainer Mr. Faraz Arshad was informed to ensure better performance of his charge in future.
Near the 1100 Metres SPIRIT AND TRUTH (D. Gnaneshwar) eased from TOKYO BLOOM (Akshay Kumar) and shifted out.
Near the 900 Metres when steadied SPIRIT AND TRUTH (D. Gnaneshwar) threw its head in the air and raced ungainly for a short distance.
It was observed that the saddle on SPIRIT AND TRUTH (D. Gnaneshwar) shifted back passing the 250 Metres as a result the Jockey got momentarily unbalanced near the 100 Metres. After due examination Trainer Mr. Neil Darashah was fined Rs.3,000/- for faulty saddling.
Jockey Anjar Alam, the rider of I’VE GOT CLOUT was questioned regarding the riding of the horse. The Jockey stated that he was asked to jump out, sit 4th/5th and do his best in the straight. However, after jumping out the horse was shying away from the other horses and thereby could not hold position. After the 1000 Metres the horse was lugging out and entering the straight he did his best. The Jockey was informed that his riding will be watched and on further repetition of such riding he will be reported to the Stewards.
Routine Sample was taken for analysis from the winner b g LIFE AWAITS.
4th Race: 72. The Flirting Vision Plate – Div I - (About) 1400 Metres. Horses rated 20 to 45, 4 years old and over (8 Runners).
Jockey Ryan Marshall, the rider of FAUSTINA, reported that he could not get a clear run between 400 Metres and 200 Metres.
It was reported after the last race at 6:00 p.m that HAPPY HOURS (Kiran Naidu) burst its blood vessels (Endoscopy – Grade III). Trainer Mr. Sriram Komandur was informed that he must produce a Fitness Certificate from the Club’s Veterinary Officer before accepting with it again.
Routine Sample was taken for analysis from the winner b g SHARP WITTED.
5th Race: 73. The Karnataka Mile Championship Cup (Grade II) – (About) 1600 Metres. 4 years old and over (Terms) (14 Runners).
Compulsory Sample were taken for analysis from the following I, II and III placed horses viz:

6th Race: 74. The Chettinad Stud Plate – (About) 1400 Metres. Horses rated 40 to 65, 5 years old and over Whips not allowed) (11 Runners).
CLICK (Munna Alam) was examined at the starting gates by the Club’s Veterinary Officer and was found to have been bleeding from its right nostril. Under the circumstances it was permitted to be withdrawn on veterinary grounds before coming under Starter’s orders. The horse was further impounded for endoscopy but no abnormality was reported. Trainer Mr. V. Lokanath was informed that he must produce a Fitness Certificate from the Club’s Veterinary Officer before accepting with it again.
AS GOOD AS IT GETS (Bhawani Singh) was forced to race wide throughout.
AUDRICK (Neeraj Rawal) was impounded for veterinary examination but no abnormality was reported.
OPTIMISTIC (A Imran Khan) sustained cut injury on right hind pastern.
ARTORIUS (S G Prasad) sustained gum injury.
Surprise Sample was taken for analysis at 5.25 p.m. from ch g CLICK.
Routine Sample was taken for analysis from the winner ch m FRANKNESS.
7th Race: 75. The V.T. Velu Memorial Trophy - (About) 1600 Metres. Horses rated 60 and above (8 Runners).
Jockey P. Trevor, the rider of ARABIAN WARRIOR, was fined Rs.1,000/- for the excessive use of the whip on his mount during the race (1st infringement).
Routine Sample was taken for analysis from the winner dk b g ARABIAN WARRIOR.
8th Race: 76. The Flirting Vision Plate – Div II - (About) 1400 Metres. Horses rated 20 to 45, 4 years old and over (9 Runners).
WESTERN UNION (Neeraj Rawal) jumped awkwardly outwards and inconvenienced SHINING BAY (Jayakumar) on its outside soon after jumping out of the starting gates.
Jockey Prashanth Dhebe, the rider of SECRET LAUNCH, was reprimanded for pulling up his mount quickly after passing the winning post.
Jockey B. Harish, the rider of SCORCHING, was severely reprimanded to exercise greater control over his mounts while jumping out of the starting gates.
JET SET GO (Munna Alam) and WESTERN UNION (Neeraj Rawal) were impounded for veterinary examination but no abnormality was reported.
