Penetrometer Reading: 4.0 Cms

 

Railing Position: Railing fixed at its original position from 1600 Metres to 1100 Metres, railing fixed at an average width of 3.5 Metres from 1100 Metres to 400 Metres and railing fixed at its original position from 400 Metres to winning post.

 

1st Race:     151. The Mysore Cup Div.II –  (About) 1400 Metres. Horses rated 20  to 45 (12 Runners).

 

SPIRITUAL ACT (Indrajeet Singh) was slowly away.

 

Jockey Afsar Khan, the rider of SWEET ANGEL, was fined Rs.3,000/- for shifting out and causing severe interference to HELIOS (A. Ashok Kumar) on his outside soon after jumping out of the starting gates.

 

Jockey Anjar Alam, the rider of DEL PORTO, was fined Rs.2,000/- for coming in and causing interference to HELIOS (A. Ashok Kumar) on his inside before passing the red marker post.   

 

HELIOS (A. Ashok Kumar) was impounded for veterinary examination but no abnormality was reported.

 

MR BIG SHOT (P. Trevor) was impounded for veterinary examination but no abnormality was reported.

 

Routine Sample was taken for analysis from the winner b g DEL PORTO.

 

2nd Race:     152. The Chennai Cup Div.I – (About) 1200 Metres. Maiden Horses 3 years old only (Horses who have run at least thrice but not  placed second, third or fourth even once ineligible) (Terms) (11 Runners).

 

AL FAARIS (T.S. Jodha) was slowly away.

 

RAMON (D. Gnaneshwar) jumped awkwardly inwards bumping LOVELY PRINCESS (M. Chettri) soon after jumping out of the starting gates.

 

It was observed that Jockey T.S. Jodha, the rider of AL FAARIS stopped riding in the final 300 Metres of the race and ran detached from the field. The horse was impounded for veterinary examination but  no abnormality was reported.

 

Jockey M. Chettri, the rider of LOVELY PRINCESS, was reprimanded for dropping hands in the final 100 Metres of the race.

 

GROOVY MOVES (Imran Chisty) sustained a bleeding cut injury on right hind coronet.

 

Routine Sample was taken for analysis from the winner  gr f ZUBAIDA.

 

3rd Race:     153. The Hyderabad Cup - (About) 1400 Metres. Maiden Horses 3 years old only (Horses who have run at least thrice but not  placed second, third or fourth even once ineligible) (Terms) (12 Runners).

 

RABOOSH (Bhawani Singh) was slowly away.

 

 

 

 

Jockey D. Gnaneshwar, the rider of SPIRIT AND TRUTH was fined Rs.5,000/- for indifferent handling of his mount during the race.

 

It was reported after the race that NATIVE ELEMENTS (Suraj Narredu) pulled up lame on right fore.  Trainer Mr. S. Narredu was informed that he must produce a Fitness Certificate from the Club’s Veterinary Officer before accepting with it again.

 

It was reported after the race that SPIRIT AND TRUTH (D. Gnaneshwar) had apparently lost its right hind shoe during the race.

 

FIGHT FOR FLASH (M. Noornabi) was impounded for veterinary examination and was found to have sustained cut injury on right hock.

 

Routine Sample was taken for analysis from the winner b g BLAZING TOUCH.

 

4th Race:     154. The Kolkata Cup - (About) 1800 Metres. Horses rated 60 and above  (8 Runners).

 

Jockey A. Imran Khan replaced the indisposed Jockey Y.S. Srinath on  AMBITIOUS REWARD .

 

Jockey P.S. Chouhan was questioned as regards the riding of his mount ZUCCHERO.  The Jockey stated that he was asked to ride from 2nd or 3rd position and do his best in the straight.  Approaching the 400 Metres he was held up for room and his mount did not quicken thereafter. His explanations was noted and the horse was impounded for veterinary examination. It was reported after the race that ZUCCHERO (P.S. Chouhan) had apparently lost its left fore shoe during the race.

 

Trainer Mr. S. Padmanabhan and Jockey S. Zervan were questioned regarding the running and riding of SPANISH CANNON.  The Jockey stated that (a) he was asked to ride off the pace, not to punish his mount too much as it was coming from a set back and do his best in the straight; (b) his mount did not show much enterprise even after his urging till the straight; and (c) after entering the straight his mount galloped for a furlong after the 300 Metres  and gave up. The trainer corroborated the instructions given to Jockey S. Zervan and also added that the Jockey could have persevered in the last 100 Metres of the race. While noting their explanations, Jockey S. Zervan was severely reprimanded for dropping hands in the final 100 Metres.

5th Race:     155. The Mysore Cup Div.I –  (About) 1400 Metres. Horses rated 20  to 45 (10 Runners).

 

Jockey Yash Narredu replaced the indisposed Jockey Y.S. Srinath on ALL IN.

 

ROYAL SEAL (D.K. Ashish) jumped awkwardly inwards and inconvenienced CAMERON (P. Trevor) on his inside soon after jumping out of the starting gates.

 

SOVIET UNION (M. Rajesh Kumar) jumped out awkwardly from the starting gates.

 

ABSOLUTELYFABULOUS (Ryan Marshall) was extremely fractious and refused to remain in the stalls. Under the circumstances it was permitted to be withdrawn before coming under Starter’s orders.

 

 

 

 

 

AMAZE (M. Naveen) was extremely fractious, ducked under the gates whereby the rider was injured.  Under the circumstances it was permitted to be withdrawn before coming under Starter’s orders.

 

ORIENTAL BELLE (B. Nayak) was impounded for veterinary examination but no abnormality was reported.

 

Routine Sample was taken for analysis from the winner b f CAMERON.

 

6th Race:     156. The Mumbai Cup – (About) 1200 Metres. Horses rated 40  to 65 (12 Runners).

 

Trainer Mr. V. Lokanath was fined Rs.1,000/- for not producing the declared  colours at the scales in respect of his charge TOPAZ (Neeraj Rawal). Subsequently `all black’ emergency colours were permitted to be used.

 

SUZANNA (P. Trevor) jumped out awkwardly inwards bumping STRIKING VIEW (A. Sandesh) soon after jumping out of  the starting gates.

 

SUZANNA (P. Trevor) was impounded for veterinary examination. On examination, the Club’s Veterinary Officer reported that it was found to have pulled up lame on left fore.  Trainer Mr. Bharath Singh was informed that he must produce a Fitness Certificate from the Club’s Veterinary Officer before accepting with it again.

 

Jockey Suraj Narredu, the rider of GOLDBERG, was fined Rs.5,000/- for  coming in sharply soon after the start and causing interference to SAKCHI (Vinod Shinde) and COOLMORE (Ryan Marshall) on his inside before passing the red marker post and for again coming in and causing severe interference to EXPERT (Arshad Alam) who clipped the heels of the front runner GOLDBERG thereby  stumbled approaching the 1000 Metres and DREAM STAR (A. Ashhad Asbar) which was travelling directly behind also had to be steadied by the rider.

 

It was reported after the race that COOLMORE (Ryan Marshall) burst its blood vessels.  Trainer Mr. G. Sandhu was informed that he must produce a Fitness Certificate from the Club’s Veterinary Officer before accepting with it again.

 

It was reported after the race that EXPERT (Arshad Alam) burst its blood vessels.  Trainer Mr. G. Nityanand was informed that he must produce a Fitness Certificate from the Club’s Veterinary Officer before accepting with it again.

 

GOLDBERG (Suraj Narredu) was impounded for veterinary examination but no abnormality was reported.

 

Routine Sample was taken for analysis from the winner ch g GOLDBERG.

 

7th  Race:     157. The Kingfisher Derby Bangalore (Grade I) – (About) 2000 Metres.  For 3 year old Indian Horses (Foaled in 2012) (Terms) (14 Runners).

 

Trainer Mr. Irfan Ghatala was fined Rs.5,000/- for discrepancy in shoeing  in respect of his charge BRILLIANT CUT (1st infringement).

 

ETERNAL FLAME (A. Sandesh) stumbled passing the 1600 Metres.

 

It was observed that GOOD PROSPECT(D. Gnaneshwar) was racing ungenerously despite the best effort of the rider thereby shifting out and taking out BRILLIANT CUT (P.S. Chouhan) passing the 1250 Metres.

 

 

 

 

Jockey A. Sandesh, the rider of ETERNAL FLAME, was fined Rs.2,000/- for shifting in and causing interference to NOSTALGIC MEMORIES (S. Zervan) resulting in SACRED FIRE (D.K. Ashish) which was travelling directly behind to be checked approaching the 700 Metres.

 

It was reported after the race that SACRED FIRE (D.K. Ashish) pulled up lame on left fore.  Trainer Mr. Altamash Ahmed was informed that he must produce a Fitness Certificate from the Club’s Veterinary Officer before accepting with it again.

 

EVERNAL FLAME (A. Sandesh) sustained a cut injury on left fore fetlock.

 

SACRED FIRE (D.K. Ashish) sustained a cut injury on right hind bulb of heel.

 

Compulsory Samples were taken for analysis from the following I, II and III placed horses viz:

8th Race:     158. The Delhi Cup – (About) 1600 Metres. For horses rated 20 to 45, 4 years old and over  (12 Runners).

 

Jockey P. Trevor replaced the indisposed Jockey Y.S. Srinath on PRIZE FINDER.

 

NATION’S GLORY (A. Vishwanth) and STAR KINGDOM (M. Noornabi) were slowly away.

 

STAR KINGDOM (M. Noornabi) was impounded for veterinary examination but no abnormality was reported.

 

Routine Sample was taken for analysis from the winner dk b g JAMES BOND.  

 

9th Race: 159 The Chennai Cup Div.II– (About) 1200 Metres. Maiden Horses 3 years old only (Horses who have run at least thrice but not  placed second, third or fourth even once ineligible) (Terms) (12 Runners).

 

FANTASY QUEEN (P. Mani) and SHIVALIK DANCE (Anjar Alam) were slowly away.

 

AMBER SKY (Suraj Narredu) after jumping out did not raise a fluent gallop and took no practical part in the race.  Trainer Mr. S. Narredu was informed that he must not accept with it again until its behaviour improved to the satisfaction of the Stipendiary Stewards in two Mock Races on race days on the race track.

 

Jockey Trevor, the rider of SUPER SUCCESS, was fined Rs.2,000/- for coming in and causing interference to THUNDERSQUALL (A. Ramu) which in turn passed it on to IRISH PRINCE (Afsar Khan) before passing the red marker post.

 

Jockey M. Rajesh Kumar, the rider of DRAGON HEART, was fined Rs.2,000/- for coming in and causing interference to SHIVALIK DANCE (Anjar Alam) on his inside passing the 250 Metres.  

 

EL FENIX (Imran Chisty) was impounded for veterinary examination but no abnormality was reported.

 

 

 

 

 

 

SUPER SUCCESS (P. Trevor) was impounded for veterinary examination but no abnormality was reported.

 

HERR VOSS (G. Adarsh) sustained an injury on left hind fetlock.

 

WESTERN DREAM (Arshad Alam) sustained an injury on right hind tendon.
