Penetrometer Reading: 3.7 Cms

 

(Railing position: Railing fixed at average width of 4.5 Metres from 1600 Metres to 1000 Metres, 5.5 Metres from 1000 Metres to 400 Metres,  from 400 Metres to the winning post from its original position).

 

1st Race:     160. The Meydan Plate Div.II - (About) 1200 Metres. Horses rated 00  to 25, 4 years old and over  (12 Runners).

 

Jockey Vinod Shinde, the rider of HARD TO GET, was fined Rs.2,000/- for shifting out and causing interference to DANCING LAURIE (Arshad Alam) on his outside soon after jumping out of the starting gates.

 

ONE TWO KA FOUR (Praveen Shinde) stumbled approaching the 800 Metres.

 

Jockey M. Rajesh Kumar, the rider of ICECREAM, reported that his mount was hanging out after entering the straight.  Trainer Mr. V. Narayana Gowda was informed to take appropriate corrective measures before accepting with it again.

 

Jockey Arshad Alam, the rider of DANCING LAURIE, was fined Rs.3,000/- for the excessive use of whip on his mount during the race (2nd infringement).

 

It was reported after the race that ONE TWO KA FOUR, burst its blood vessels.  Trainer Mr. Warren Singh was informed that he must produce a Fitness Certificate from the Club’s Veterinary Officer before accepting with it again.

 

Routine Sample was taken for analysis from the winner b g FLYING BULLET.  

 

2nd Race:     161. The Astronomic Plate Div.II - (About) 1400 Metres. Horses rated 20  to 45, 4 years old and over  (11 Runners).

 

BOYSTEROUS (Irvan Singh) jumped out awkwardly from the starting gates.

 

Jockey Ajeet Kumar, the rider of SHINING BAY, reported that he could not get a clear run soon after jumping out of the starting gates due to the crowding of the field.

 

BRONZINO (G. Adarsh) was slowly away and lost few lengths at the start. In view of its behaviour Trainer Mr. Imtiaz Khan was informed that he must not accept with it again until its behaviour improved to the satisfaction of the Stipendiary Stewards in one jump out on a starting gate practice day.

 

Jockey Arshad Alam, the rider of GOODWILL WARRIOR, was reprimanded for shifting out and inconveniencing HAPTICSTAR, on his outside passing the 1100 Metres.

 

BOYSTEROUS (Irvan Singh) was impounded for veterinary examination but no abnormality was reported.

 

Jockey D’nu Singh Deora, the rider of WHAT A WONDER, was fined Rs.1,000/- for the excessive use of the whip on his mount during the race (1st infringement).

 

It was reported after the race that CROZIET (V.R. Jagadeesh) burst its blood vessels (Endoscopy Grade IV – 3.43 p.m.).   Trainer Mr. Warren Singh was informed that he must produce a Fitness Certificate from the Club’s Veterinary Officer before accepting with it again.

 

Jockey Neeraj Rawal was questioned as regards his riding on MILLROSE.  The Jockey stated that (a) his filly was unruly in the starting gates; (b) after jumping out his filly travelled well for the first 200 Metres; (c) he had to niggle to keep up with the position; (d) in the final 300 Metres the filly had nothing left in her; and (e) he also added that the filly did not like the soft underfoot conditions. His explanations were noted.

 

Trainer Mr. V. Narayana Gowda and Jockey Chetan Kalay, were questioned regarding the running and riding of MYSTICAL SHADOW.  The Trainer stated that he had instructed the Jockey to ride from second or third position and do his best in the straight.  The Jockey corroborated the statement of the trainer and also added that this filly was very fast out of the gates, he found himself in a forward position and as there was nobody else taking the lead he could not adhere to the Trainer’s instructions and  rode out his filly in the straight but could only finish a close fifth. Their explanations were noted.

 

MILLROSE (Neeraj Rawal) sustained gum injury and bleeding punctured injury on tongue.

 

MYSTICAL SHADOW (Chetan Kalay S) sustained gum injury.

 

Routine Sample was taken for analysis from the winner b g SANDS OF TIME.

 

3rd Race:     162. The Mount Everest Trophy - (About) 1200 Metres. Maiden Horses 3 years old only (Horses who have run at least thrice but not  placed second, third or fourth even once ineligible) (Terms) (12 Runners).

 

AQUA BLESSING (Rayan Marshall) was slowly away.

 

D’ACCORD (Neeraj Rawal) jumped awkwardly outwards and bumped PRINCESS OF GLORY (A.Ashhad Asbar) soon after jumping out of the starting gates.

 

Jockey Anjar Alam was questioned regarding the riding of GABINO. Jockey stated that he was instructed to jump out, take a good position and do his best in the straight. Jockey stated that after jumping out he found his horse was lazy and he had to keep niggling to hold his position, he also kept tapping the horse to get a good position and he did his best in the straight. While noting his explanations he was severely reprimanded to be more vigorous in riding out his mount in the straight.  

 

It was reported after the race that D’ACCORD (Neeraj Rawal) pulled up lame on left fore.  Trainer Mr Nosher Cama was informed that he must produce a Fitness Certificate from the Club’s Veterinary Officer before accepting with it again.

 

Routine Sample was taken for analysis from the winner dk b f OPHELIA.

 

4th Race:     163. The Astronomic Plate Div.I - (About) 1400 Metres. Horses rated 20  to 45, 4 years old and over  (11 Runners).

 

As Jockey K. Manesh, the rider of CANNES, had a fall after the winning post whereby he was injured and rushed to the hospital. Under the circumstances in accordance with Rule No.144(d) of the BTC Rules of Racing Jockey K. Manesh was exempted from weighing in despite CANNES having placed 2nd in the above race.   

 

Routine Sample was taken for analysis from the winner b f BEYOND INTENSITY.

 

5th Race:     164. The Karnataka Sub-Area Cup - (About) 1200 Metres. Horses rated 60 and above  (12 Runners).

 

VIRAT (Chetan Kalay S) took a fly jump.

Jockey Sunil Samson was questioned as to the positioning of his mount UNGOOGLEABLE as his instructions were to go start to finish.  The Jockey stated that the horse did not show early speed and that the other horses came across him quickly.  He also added that his horse suddenly veered out after passing the winning post. 

 

Jockey Chetan Kalay S, the rider of VIRAT, was fined Rs.1,000/- for the excessive use of the whip on his mount during the race.

 

It was reported after the race that TOPSPOT (Surya P) burst its blood vessels.   Trainer Mr. Pradeep Annaiah was informed that he must produce a Fitness Certificate from the Club’s Veterinary Officer before accepting with it again.

 

Routine Sample was taken for analysis from the winner b h ASSIDUOUS.   

 

6th Race:     165. The Alekona Trophy - (About) 1100 Metres. Horses rated 20  to 45  (12 Runners).

 

SOVIET UNION (Chetan Kalay S) and LEGAL TENDER (P. Mani) were slowly away.

 

BAZINGA (Rajesh Kumar M) took a fly jump.

 

Approaching the 900 Metres INTERACTIVE (B. Nayak) shifted out inconveniencing SOVIET UNION (Chetan Kalay S) and PASSION FLORA (Adarsh G) which shifted in and inconvenienced AIR DANCER (Janardhan Paswan) along the rails.

 

It was reported after the race that BAZINGA (Rajesh kumar M)  pulled up lame on right hind.  Trainer Mr. V. Narayana Gowda was informed that he must produce a Fitness Certificate from the Club’s Veterinary Officer before accepting with it again.

 

It was reported after the race that LEGAL TENDER (P. Mani)  pulled up lame on left fore.  Trainer Mr. Pradeep Annaiah was informed that he must produce a Fitness Certificate from the Club’s Veterinary Officer before accepting with it again.

 

It was reported after the race that SELF AND BEYOND (Neeraj Rawal)  pulled up lame on left fore.  Trainer Mr. V. Lokanath was informed that he must produce a Fitness Certificate from the Club’s Veterinary Officer before accepting with it again.

 

An enquiry is being held into the running and riding of INTERACTIVE trained by Mr. Imtiaz Khan and ridden by Jockey B. Nayak.

 

An enquiry is being held into the relatively improved performance of SOVIET UNION trained by Kishan Thomas as compared to its previous run in Race No.155 of the Bangalore Summer Meeting 2015.

7th Race:     166. The Buck Passer Plate - (About) 1400 Metres. Horses rated 40  to 65  (11 Runners).

 

NOVERRO (Vinod Shinde) took a fly jump.

 

SALTOFTHEEARTH (B. Nayak) planted and lost many lengths at the start.  Trainer Mr. Imtiaz Khan was informed that he must not accept with it again until its behaviour improved to the satisfaction of the Stipendiary Stewards in one Mock Race on a race day on the race track.

 

COOL APPROACH (V.R. Jagadeesh) was slowly away, lost many lengths and ran detached till the last 500 Metres. Trainer Mr. Sharat Kumar was informed that he must not accept with it again until its behaviour improved to the satisfaction of the Stipendiary Stewards in one Mock Race on a race day on the race track.

 

Jockey S. Shiva Kumar, the rider of ARTIC ATTRACTION, reported that he lost his whip passing the 200 Metres.

 

Jockey S. Shiva Kumar, the rider of ARTIC ATTRACTION, was reprimanded for travelling wide rounding the final bend for no apparent reason.

 

Jockey Ranjeet Singh, the rider of LIEGE LORD, was reprimanded for travelling wide rounding the final bend for apparent reason.

 

It was reported after the race that PORT BLAIR (Aqeed Waheed) burst its blood vessels.  Trainer Mr. Mahmood Khan was informed that he must produce a Fitness Certificate from the Club’s Veterinary Officer before accepting with it again.

8th Race:     167. The Meydan Plate Div.I - (About) 1200 Metres. Horses rated 00  to 25, 4 years old and over  (12 Runners).

 

Jockey Vivek, the rider of CELESTIAL STORM, reported that his mount was lugging in under pressure.

 

Jockey M. Rajesh Kumar, the rider of ICE KINGDOM, reported that his saddle shifted back passing the 1000 Metres.  After due examination of the equipment trainer Mr. Imtiaz Khan was fined Rs.3,000/- for faulty saddling. 

 

Jockey Vishal, the rider of GALWAY GIRL, was reprimanded for dropping hands in the final 50 Metres of the race.
