Penetrometer Reading: 3.2 Cms

 

(Railing position: Railing fixed at average width of 5 Metres from 1600 Metres to 1000 Metres, 9 Metres from 1000 Metres to 400 Metres and 5 Metres from 400 Metres to the winning post from its original position).

 

1st Race:     126. The Basque Plate – Div.II - (About) 1100 Metres.

Maiden Horses 3 years old only (Horses who have run at least thrice but not  placed second, third or fourth even once ineligible) (Terms) (10 Runners).

 

VEDA (R. Anand) walked out of the gates, did not raise a fluent gallop for the first 25 Metres.  Trainer Mr. B. Puttanna was informed that he must not accept with it again until its behaviour improved to the satisfaction of the Stipendiary Stewards in one Mock Race on a race day on the race track.

 

LOZEN (Irvan Singh) jumped out awkwardly and bumped TOP SMILES (Afsar Khan) soon after jumping out of the starting gates.

 

Jockey Arshad Alam, the rider of TIME SQUARE, was fined Rs.2,000/- for coming in and causing interference to ASPASIA (M. Rajesh Kumar) on his inside passing the 250 Metres.

 

Jockey P. Mani, the rider of HIGH PROFILE, was reprimanded for dropping hands before passing the winning post.  

 

Trainer Mr. Faraz Arshad was questioned as regards the performance of FREESTYLE. The trainer stated that (a) it was the first run of the horse and he had asked the Jockey to take a good position and do his best in the straight; (b) His charge was working well during the morning track work; (c) It had also performed well in the Mock Race; and (d) He had  observed during the race and after viewing the CCTV replay that his charge was not passing horses in the last 200 Metres.  His explanations were noted and he was further advised to run his charge after a sufficient gap.

 

FREESTYLE (A. Imran Khan) was impounded for veterinary examination and no abnormality was reported.

2nd Race:     127. The Royal Tern Plate – Div.II - (About) 1200 Metres. Horses rated 20  to 45, 4 years old and over  (8 Runners).

 

STAR KINGDOM (M. Noornabi) and VIVA DIVA (B. Harish) were slowly away.

 

FRUIT PRINCE (A. Imran Khan) was impounded for veterinary examination but no abnormality was reported.

 

Routine Sample was taken for analysis from the winner b c SECRET PRAYER.

 

3rd Race:       128. The Kumararajah M.A.M. Muthiah Memorial Cup - (About) 1400 Metres. Horses rated 20  to 45 (7 Runners).

 

ABSOLUTELYFABULOUS (Ryan Marshall) was extremely fractious, reared up and flipped over. Under the circumstances it was permitted to be withdrawn before coming under Starter’s Orders.

 

MOHER (Neeraj Rawal) was slowly away.

 

MOHER (Neeraj Rawal) had to be steadied off the heels of INDIAN BRAHMOS (T.S. Jodha) rounding the final bend.

 

INDIAN BRAHMOS (T.S. Jodha) was impounded for veterinary examination but no abnormality was reported.

4th Race:     129. The N.M. Lingaraju Memorial Trophy - (About) 1600 Metres. Horses rated 40  to 65, 4 years old and over  (8 Runners).

 

MEDINAH (Mudassar Nazar) was slowly away.

 

Jockey Yash Narredu, the rider of MYSTIC MUSIC, placed II by the Judge objected against Jockey D.K. Ashish, the rider of BIG TICKET, placed I, for “approaching the 100 Metres the winner came on to me in a crucial stage when my horse was full of riding where I had to stop riding and pull him out which cost me a certain race”. The Stewards held an enquiry immediately after the race and examined the Jockeys concerned.  After deliberations they decided to over rule the objection. 

 

Jockey D.K. Ashish, the rider of BIG TICKET, was fined Rs.3,000/- for coming in and causing interference to MYSTIC MUSIC (Yash Narredu) on his inside passing 100 Metres. 

 

BIG TICKET (D.K. Ashish) was impounded for veterinary examination but no abnormality was reported.

 

Routine Sample was taken for analysis from the winner ch c BIG TICKET.

 

5th Race:     130. The H.B. Gundappa Gowda Memorial Cup -(About) 1400 Metres. Horses rated 60 and above  (8 Runners).

 

FRENEMEE (B. Harish) was slowly away.

 

Jockey G. Sai Vamshi, the rider of GO LUCKY GO, was fined Rs.5,000/- for coming in and causing severe interference to MERION (D.K. Ashish) on his inside which had to be checked by its rider thereby losing position passing the 950 Metres.

 

It was reported after the race that MERION (D.K. Ashish) burst its blood vessels (grade III – Endoscopy at 4.50 p.m.). Trainer Mr. Arjun Mangalorkar was informed that he must produce a Fitness Certificate from the Club’s Veterinary Officer before accepting with it again.

6th Race:     131. The Basque Plate – Div.I - (About) 1100 Metres.

Jockey A. Imran Khan, the rider of NEW ERA, was fined Rs.1,000/- for shifting out and causing interference to RAIN KISSED (A. Vishwanath) on his outside approaching the 1000 Metres.

 

Jockey Vinod Shinde, the rider of WAY WE WERE, was reprimanded for dropping hands in the final 100 Metres of the race.

 

Jockey A. Vishwanath, the rider of RAIN KISSED, reported that his mount was hanging out throughout the race.  The horse was impounded for veterinary examination but no abnormality was reported. However, Trainer Mr. Sriram Komandur was informed to take appropriate corrective measures before accepting with it again.

7th Race:     132. The Royal Tern Plate – Div.I - (About) 1200 Metres. Horses rated 20  to 45, 4 years old and over  (8 Runners).

 

Jockey A. Ashok Kumar, the rider of FOREST QUEEN, was fined Rs.1,000/- for coming in and causing interference to SAIRANI (A. Imran Khan) on his inside approaching the 1000 Metres.

 

Routine Sample was taken for analysis from the winner b f FOREST QUEEN.

 

8th Race:     133. The Tudor Jet Plate - (About) 1400 Metres. Horses rated 00  to 25, 5 years old and over  (11 Runners).

 

Permission was granted to Trainer Mr. Hidayat Khan to withdraw MYSTIC LAVENDERS (T.S. Jodha) on veterinary grounds as it was found to be lame due to cut injury on right hind cannon (inflammed).  He was informed that he must produce a Fitness Certificate from the Club’s Veterinary Officer before accepting with it again.

 

LIQUID ASSET (B. Harish) planted and lost many lengths at the start.  Trainer Mr. Mahmood Khan was informed that he must not accept with it again until its behaviour improved to the satisfaction of the Stipendiary Stewards in two Mock Races on race days on the race track. He was further informed that his charge LIQUID ASSET would be banned from racing under BTC Rules if it behaved in a similar manner in future.  

 

It was reported after the race that MISTER GREY (P. Trevor) had apparently lost its left hind shoe during the race.
