(Railing position: Railing fixed at average width of 5 Metres from 1600 Metres to 1000 Metres, 9  Metres from 1000 Metres to 400 Metres and 5 Metres from 400 Metres to the winning post from its original position).

 

1st Race:     134. The Young Rajput  Plate –  (About) 1200 Metres. Horses rated 20  to 45 (8 Runners).

 

DESERT GILT (A. Ashhad Asbar) and SEA DOVE (V.R. Jagadeesh) bumped soon after jumping out of the starting gates.

 

Jockey Hindu Singh, the rider of FLAME’S FURY, was fined Rs.5,000/- for coming in and causing severe interference to the horses on his inside viz. AMAZE (Afsar Khan), CLASS ACT (C.S. Vikrant), SEA DOVE (V.R. Jagadeesh) and  DESERT GILT (A. Ashhad Asbar) on his inside unbalancing the rider of DESERT GILT before passing the red marker post.

 

Jockey C.S. Vikrant, the rider of CLASS ACT, was fined Rs.5,000/- for coming in and causing interference to BAZINGA (A. Ashok Kumar), SEA DOVE (V.R. Jagadeesh) and DESERT GILT (A. Ashhad Asbar) on his inside before passing the red marker post.

 

Routine Sample was taken for analysis from the winner b g CASTLE KEY.

 

2nd Race:     135. The Epsom  Plate – Div.II -(About) 1400 Metres. For horses rated 20 to 45, 5 years old and over (To be ridden by Indian Jockeys claiming allowance) (Whips not allowed) (8 Runners).

 

Permission was granted to trainer Mr. Irfan Ghatala to withdraw DAWN OF LIGHT (S. Antony Raj) on veterinary grounds as it was found to be lame on right fore due to inflammed tendon.  He was informed that he must produce a Fitness Certificate from the Club’s Veterinary Officer before accepting with it again. 

 

ACTIVE GREY (Praveen Shinde) planted, lost many lengths at the start and ran detached thereafter.  In view of its behaviour trainer Mr. V. Narayana Gowda was informed that he must not accept with it again until its behaviour improved to the satisfaction of the Stipendiary Stewards in two Mock Races on race days on the race track.

 

Jockey P. Surya, the rider of ACEEMPRESSJESSIE, reported that his mount was hanging in after entering the straight. The horse was impounded for veterinary examination but no abnormality was reported. However, trainer Mr. S. Britto was informed to take appropriate corrective measures before accepting with it again.

 

Jockey A. Ramu, the rider of RUBI REY, reported that his saddle shifted back passing the 1200 Metres.  After due examination of the equipment, trainer Mr. Pradeep Annaiah was fined Rs.3,000/- for faulty saddling.

 

RUBI REY (A. Ramu) was impounded for veterinary examination but no abnormality was reported.

 

Routine Sample was taken for analysis from the winner ch m COOL BABY.

 

3rd Race:     136. The Endorsement Plate – (About) 1200 Metres. Horses rated 00  to 25 (12 Runners).

 

SAFFRON INTENSE (M. Ravi) was slowly away.

 

PARISWIT (M. Chettri) ran detached from the field.  Trainer Mr. Mahmood Khan was informed to ensure better performance of his charge in future.  The trainer further added that if his charge did not improve in its next start and performed in a similar manner he would retire the horse.

 

It was reported after the race that ENCHANTRESS (S. Mallikarjun) burst its blood vessels. Trainer Mr. Sharat Kumar was informed that he must produce a Fitness Certificate from the Club’s Veterinary Officer before accepting with it again.

 

Jockey Imran Chisty, the rider of EDGE OF ETERNITY, was fined Rs.3,000/- for not exercising sufficient control on his mount thereby allowing it to shift out and cause interference to the horses on his outside viz. VITO (S. Guruprasad), ENCHANTRESS (S. Mallikarjun), EMANCIPATION (Munna Allam) and ANGELA (A. Imran Khan) soon after jumping out of the starting gates.

 

Jockey Imran Chisty, the rider of EDGE OF ETERNITY, was fined Rs.2,000/- for shifting in and tightening ICECREAM (B. Harish) which in turn passed it on to ONE TO NOTE (T.S. Jodha) on his inside passing the 1000 Metres.

 

EDGE OF ETERNITY (Imran Chisty) was impounded for veterinary examination but no abnormality was reported.

 

Routine Sample was taken for analysis from the winner b f HIDDEN DEAL.  

 

4th Race:     137. The Epsom  Plate – Div.I -(About) 1400 Metres. For horses rated 20 to 45, 5 years old and over (To be ridden by Indian Jockeys claiming allowance) Whips not allowed. (10 Runners).

 

VISION MISSION (R. Rayan Ahmed) planted, lost many lengths and ran detached from the field.  In view of its behaviour trainer Mr. F. Sirajuddin was informed that he must not accept with it again until its behaviour improved to the satisfaction of the Stipendiary Stewards in one Mock Race on a race day on the race track.

 

Jockey Bhawani Singh, the rider of AMIGOS, reported that his mount was hanging out after entering the straight. Trainer Mr. Faraz Arshad was informed to take appropriate corrective measures before accepting with it again.   

 

It was reported after the race that ADRIPHOS (Sunil Samson) had apparently lost its right fore shoe during the race.

 

HIDDEN HERO (Hindu Singh) sustained injuries on right fore fetlock.

 

Routine Sample was taken for analysis from the winner b g ADRIPHOS.

 

5th  Race:     138. The V.G. Saravanam Memorial Cup – Div.I - (About) 1400 Metres. Horses rated 40  to 65, 5 years old and over  (11 Runners).

 

WIND OF SOUL (Jaykumar) planted and lost many lengths at the start. Trainer Mr. Rajesh Narredu was informed that he must not accept with it again until its behaviour improved to the satisfaction of the Stipendiary Stewards in one Mock Race on a race day on the race track. 

 

Jockey K. Manesh, the rider of ACCURACY, was fined Rs.1,000/- for shifting out and bumping NEXT MOVE (A. Ramu) whereby the rider was momentarily unbalanced approaching the 800 Metres. 

 

It was reported after the race that BERING SEA (S.G. Prasad) burst its blood vessels. Trainer Mr. S. Padmanabhan was informed that he must produce a Fitness Certificate from the Club’s Veterinary Officer before accepting with it again.

 

Routine Sample was taken for analysis from the winner b m JACKIE OH.

 

6th  Race:     139. The Maharaja’s Gold Cup (Grade II) – (About) 2200 Metres.  For 4 year old and over (Terms) (7 Runners).

 

Trainer Mr. S. Ganapathy and Jockey A. Sandesh were questioned regarding the running and riding of BE SAFE in the above race. The trainer stated that he had asked the jockey to jump out well and settle the horse, come into the straight and do his best. He stated that he was shocked with the performance of the horse and was awaiting the veterinary observations.

 

BE SAFE (A. Sandesh) was impounded for veterinary examination. It was reported after the races at 6.35 p.m. that BE SAFE had suffered from EIPH (endoscopy  - grade I – with mucopus +++). Trainer Mr. S. Ganapathy was informed that he must produce a Fitness Certificate from the Club’s Veterinary Officer before accepting with it again.  

 

Surprise Sample was taken for analysis from b c BE SAFE.

 

Compulsory Samples were taken for analysis from the following I, II and III placed horses viz:

7th Race:     140. The Divine Light Plate – (About) 1200 Metres. Maiden Horses 3 years old only (Horses who have run at least thrice but not  placed second, third or fourth even once ineligible) (Terms) (11 Runners).

 

Permission was granted to trainer Mr. Pradeep Annaiah to withdraw FIELD GAME on veterinary grounds as it was trotting lame on right fore due to sprained shoulder. He was informed that he must produce a Fitness Certificate from the Club’s Veterinary Officer before accepting with it again.

 

Jockey T.S. Jodha, the rider of JERSEY WONDER, reported that his mount  jumped out awkwardly from the starting gates as a result he lost his right stirrup which he regained passing 1000 Metres.

Jockey M.A. Roushan, the rider of SHIVALIK BOY, reported that he lost his whip passing the 300 Metres.

 

Jockey M.A. Roushan, the rider of SHIVALIK BOY, reported that his mount was not galloping fluently after entering the straight.  The horse was impounded for veterinary examination but no abnormality was reported. `

8th Race:     141. The Marilingaiah  Memorial Cup - (About) 1200 Metres. Horses rated 60 and above  (9 Runners).

 

EMPEROR CRUISE (Y.S. Srinath) was extremely fractious at the starting gates and broke its bit due to its behaviour while loading.  Under the circumstances it was permitted to be withdrawn before coming under Starter’s orders. 

 

Jockey R. Rayan Ahmed, the rider of IRISH SONG, reported that his saddle shifted back passing the 500 Metres. After due examination of the equipment, trainer Mr. F. Sirajuddin was fined Rs.3,000/- for faulty saddling.

 

Jockey A. Imran Khan, the rider of NESTO, was fined Rs.3,000/- for shifting in and tightening VOLCANO (P. Trevor) on his inside in the final 50 Metres of the race.

 

Routine Sample was taken for analysis from the winner b g NESTO.

 

9th  Race:     142. The V.G. Saravanam Memorial Cup – Div.II - (About) 1400 Metres. Horses rated 40  to 65, 5 years old and over  (11 Runners).

 

Jockey Ahsan Qureshi, the rider of ABSOLUTE RED, was fined Rs.3,000/- for gesticulating to Jockey Ranjeet Singh, the rider of SPANISH MOON, before passing the winning post.

 

Jockey Yash Narredu, the rider of DEEP BLUE SEA, reported that the bridle on his mount had come over the left side of the blinker soon after jumping out of the starting gates as such he had considerable difficulty in riding out his mount.

 

It was observed that Jockey G. Sai Vamshi, the rider of HILLTON, lost his whip approaching the 300 Metres.

 

ICE CUTTER (K. Chethana) was impounded for veterinary examination but no abnormality was reported.

 

Routine Sample was taken for analysis from the winner ch g ABSOLUTE RED.

ADDITIONAL REPORT

BANGALORE SUMMER MEETING 2015

THIRTEENTH DAY, SATURDAY, 27TH JUNE 2015

113. The Patrons Cup –  (About) 1400 Metres. Horses rated 80 and above 

(A)

The Stipendiary Stewards reported Jockey D.K. Ashish with specific reference to Race No.113 on 27th June 2015 of the Bangalore Summer Meeting 2015 after his ride on BOOKER JONES in that he was involved in a scuffle in the Jockeys Room which was evident on the CCTV recording and this act of his was totally unbecoming of a licensed Jockey thereby contravening Rule No.101(i) (misconduct) of the BTC Rules of Racing.  The Stewards held an enquiry on 5th July 2015 after the last race and examined the Jockeys concerned viz. D.K. Ashish, Arshad Alam and S. Zervan. After deliberations, they decided to (a) suspend Jockey D.K. Ashish from riding in races from 20-7-2015 to 7-8-2015 (both days inclusive); and (b) fine him a sum of Rs.20,000/- for contravening Rule No.101(i) (misconduct) of the BTC Rules of Racing (permitted to ride work).

(B)

The Stipendiary Stewards reported Jockey Arshad Alam with specific reference to Race No.113 on 27th June 2015 of the Bangalore Summer Meeting 2015 after his ride on SUN DIVINE in that he was involved in a scuffle in the Jockeys Room which was evident on the CCTV recording and this act of his was totally unbecoming of a licensed Jockey thereby contravening Rule No.101(i) (misconduct) of the BTC Rules of Racing.  The Stewards held an enquiry on 5th July 2015 after the last race and examined the Jockeys concerned viz. D.K. Ashish,  Arshad Alam and S. Zervan. After deliberations, they decided to (a) suspend Jockey Arshad Alam from riding in races from 20-7-2015 to 31-7-2015 (both days inclusive); and (b) fine him a sum of Rs.10,000/- for contravening Rule No.101(i) (misconduct) of the BTC Rules of Racing (permitted to ride work).
