(Railing position: Railing fixed at average width of 4.5 Metres from 1600 Metres to 1000 Metres, 7 Metres from 1000 Metres to 500 Metres and 4.5 Metres from 500 Metres to the winning post).

 

1st Race:     195. The Belmont Park Plate Div.II - (About) 1400 Metres. Horses rated 00  to 25, 4 years old and over  (11 Runners).

 

Permission was granted to Trainer Mr. Pradeep Annaiah to withdraw DONTWORRYMONDAY (Irvan Singh) on veterinary grounds as it was found to be suffering from colic.  He was informed that he must produce a Fitness Certificate from the Club’s Veterinary Officer before accepting with it again.

 

Jockey M. Rajesh Kumar, the rider of WESTERN LADY, reported that he could not get a clear run passing the 950 Metres due to crowding of the field.

 

Jockey A. Ramu, the rider of SUMMER STAR, reported that he could not get a clear run approaching 300 Metres due to crowding of the field.

 

KINGS KID (Imran Chisty) was impounded for veterinary examination but no abnormality was reported.

It was reported after the last race that THUNDERING CLOUD (Md. Shoaib) burst its blood vessels (endoscopy Grade III). Trainer Mr. Prasanna Kumar was informed that he must produce a Fitness Certificate from the Club’s Veterinary Officer before accepting with it again.

2nd Race:     196. The Santorini Star Plate (About) 2000 Metres. Horses rated 20 to 45 (6 Runners).

 

FESTIVE CHEER (Neeraj Rawal) was slowly away.

3rd Race:     197. The Belmont Park Plate Div.I - (About) 1400 Metres. Horses rated 00  to 25, 4 years old and over  (12 Runners).

 

CHERRY HINTON (A. Imran Khan) walked out of the gates, refused to raise a gallop and did not take any practical part in the race. In view of its behaviour trainer Mr. F. Sirajuddin was informed that he must not accept with it again until its behaviour improved to the satisfaction of the Stipendiary Stewards in one Mock Race on a race day on the race track.

 

SHIVALIK EYES (Afsar Khan) after jumping out, swerved towards the left, refused to raise a gallop and did not take any practical part in the race.  In view of its behaviour trainer Mr. Sharat Kumar was informed that he must not accept with it again until its behaviour improved to the satisfaction of the Stipendiary Stewards in one Mock Race on a race day on the race track.

 

Jockey Janardhan Paswan, the rider of CANDICE, reported that his mount completely stopped galloping in the final 200 Metres. The horse was impounded for veterinary examination and was found to have sustained an injury on right hock.

4th Race:     198. The Leading Stud Cup - (About) 2000 Metres. Horses rated 60 and above (6 Runners).

 

Jockey Suraj Narredu was questioned as regards his riding and the relatively poor performance of LUCIA. The Jockey stated that the trainer had instructed him to sit off the pace as she did not have initial speed.  After rounding the final bend the filly did not respond to his urgings.  The horse was impounded for veterinary examination and was found to have burst its blood vessels.  Trainer Mr. Irfan Ghatala was informed that he must produce a Fitness Certificate from the Club’s Veterinary Officer before accepting with it again.

5th Race:     199. The Southern Regent Trophy - (About) 1400 Metres.

Maiden Horses 3 years old only (Horses who have run at least thrice but not  placed second, third or fourth even once ineligible) (Terms) (12 Runners).

 

SHIVALIK DANCE (Anjar Alam) jumped awkwardly outwards and bumped SEA LORD (P. Trevor) on its outside soon after jumping out of the starting gates.

 

Jockey A. Imran Khan, the rider of FREESTYLE, was fined Rs.1,000/- for  shifting in and causing interference to RED CEDAR (Vivek) on his inside approaching the 1200 Metres.

 

Jockey Irvan Singh, the rider of WILDWILDWEST, reported that his mount was inclined to run out passing the 1000 Metres.

 

Jockey G. Sai Vamshi, the rider of QUEEN’S ACE, was fined Rs.3,000/- for shifting out and causing interference to HURRAH (Y.S. Srinath) on his outside approaching the 400 Metres.

 

Jockey Kiran Naidu, the rider of AIZAAN, reported that his mount was hanging out after entering the straight. The horse was impounded for veterinary examination and was found to have sustained cut injury on left gaskin.

 

ASSERTIVE PRINCE (Ryan Marshall) was impounded for veterinary examination but no abnormality was reported.

6th Race:     200. The Tippu Sultan Cup  - (About) 1200 Metres. Horses rated 60 and above, 4 years old and over (Whips not allowed)  (10 Runners)

 

SON OF STARS (Jaykumar) was extremely fractious, ducked underneath the gates and was stuck for a considerable period of time.  Under the circumstances it was permitted to be withdrawn before coming under Starter’s orders.

 

ABSTRACT ART (G. Sai Vamshi) was extremely fractious and was found to have sustained an injury on tongue resulting in severe bleeding. Under the circumstances it was permitted to be withdrawn on veterinary grounds before coming under the Starter’s orders. Trainer Mr. Kishan Thomas was informed that he must produce a Fitness Certificate from the Club’s Veterinary Officer before accepting with it again.

 

POWER OF TIME (A. Ramu) reared up while jumping out of the starting gates and lost a few lengths.

 

Jockey Antony Raj S, the rider of CASTLE STUART, was fined Rs.1,000/- for coming in and causing interference to UNGOOGLEABLE (Arshad Alam) on his inside; NEW EMPEROR (Ahsan Qureshi) which was travelling directly behind had to be checked by its rider and shifted out thereby taking out SUN GLOW (Vishal) and FRENEMEE (A. Ashok Kumar) on his outside approaching the 600 Metres.

 

NIMFEA (P. Trevor) sustained cut injury on left hind coronet.

7th Race:     201. The Lt. Col. Gaunt Memorial Cup - (About) 1600 Metres. Horses rated 40 to 65  (10 Runners).

 

NOBLE REWARD (Adarsh G) was slowly away.

 

Jockey A. Ashhad Asbar, the rider of BLAZING TOUCH, was fined Rs.2,000/- for not coming in a proper attire to the weighing room for the days races.

8th Race:     202. The Mystic Memory Plate – Div.I - (About) 1200 Metres. Horses rated 40 to 65, 4 years old and over  (12 Runners).

 

WHISTLEJACKET (Syed Imran) ran detached from the field and was impounded for veterinary examination. On examination the Club’s Veterinary Officer reported that  it was found to have pulled up lame on left fore.  Trainer Mr. Mahmood Khan was informed that he must produce a Fitness Certificate from the Club’s Veterinary Officer before accepting with it again.

 

Jockey M. Rajesh Kumar, the rider of SECRET PRAYER, was reprimanded for  travelling wide rounding the final bend for no apparent reason and also for allowing his mount to drift out in the final 200 Metres under the use of whip.

 

SECRET PRAYER (Rajesh Kumar M) sustained cut injury on right gaskin.

 

REAL STEEL (Y.S. Srinath) sustained cut injury on right hind tendon.

 

PACIFIC BLUE (A. Ramu) sustained cut injury on right hind tendon.

9th Race:     203. The Star Contender Plate - (About) 1100 Metres. Maiden Horses 3 years old only (Horses who have run at least thrice but not  placed second, third or fourth even once ineligible) (Terms) (12 Runners).

 

LAVA (R. Anand) jumped awkwardly outwards and inconvenienced DRACARYS (Adarsh G) on its outside soon after jumping out of the starting gates.

 

ATLANTIS (Rajesh N) was impounded for veterinary examination but no abnormality was reported.

 

BLACK LIGHTNING (Ryan Marshall) sustained cut injury on right hock and right hind cannon.

10th Race:     204. The Mystic Memory Plate – Div.II - (About) 1200 Metres. Horses rated 40 to 65, 4 years old and over  (10 Runners).

Permission was granted to Trainer Mr. Kishan Thomas to withdraw SALINA on veterinary grounds as it was found to have sustained cut injury on right fore fetlock and right knee.  He was informed that he must produce a Fitness Certificate from the Club’s Veterinary Officer before accepting with it again.

 

BEAUTY IS TRUTH (B. Nayak) was extremely fractious and refused to remain in the stalls.  Under the circumstances it was permitted to be withdrawn before coming under Starter’s orders.

 

MIRACLES OF LIFE (Vivek) and DEEP BLUE STORM (Vishal) were slowly away.

 

An enquiry is opened into the riding by Jockey G. Sai Vamshi on ANFIELD in the above race, with specific reference to the interference caused by him.
