Penetrometer Reading: 3.5 Cms. and it was 4 Cms. after the 9th race.

 

Railing fixed at an average width of 5.5. Metres from 1600 Metres to 1000 Metres, 9 Metres wide from 1000 Metres to 500 Metres and 5.5 Metres from 500 Metres to the winning post. 

 

1st  Race:     205. The Leading Bookmaker Cup – Div.II -  (About) 1200 Metres. Maiden Horses 3 years old only (Horses who have run atleast thrice but not  placed second, third or fourth even once ineligible) (Terms) (12 Runners).

                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                   

JERSEY WONDER (Y.S. Srinath) jumped awkwardly outwards.

 

TOMMY BAHAMA (Irvan Singh) and ANJALIKA (Arshad Alam) were slowly away.

 

ANJALIKA (Arshad Alam) veered out approaching the 1000 Metres till about 700 Metres and ran detached thereafter.  The horse was impounded for veterinary examination but no abnormality was reported. Trainer Mr. Sriram Komandur was informed to take appropriate corrective measures before accepting with it again.

 

HAPPY THOUGHTS (G. Sai Vamshi) was steadied off the heels of BRUNALDO (Anjar Alam) approaching the 1000 Metres.

 

It was reported after the race that JERSEY WONDER (Y.S. Srinath) pulled up lame on left hind.  Trainer Mr. B. Puttanna was informed that he must produce a Fitness Certificate from the Club’s Veterinary Officer before accepting with it  again.

 

Routine Sample was taken for analysis from the winner b g BRUNALDO.

 

2nd Race:     206. The Leading Tipster Cup – Div.II - (About) 1200 Metres. Horses rated 00  to 25  (12 Runners).

 

BOLD VISION (A. Vishwanath) after jumping out, swerved towards left and did not take part in the race.  In view of its behaviour trainer Mr. Faraz Arshad was informed that he must not accept with it again until its behaviour improved to the satisfaction of the Stipendiary Stewards in one Mock Race on a race day on the race track.

 

Jockey M. Prabhakaran, the rider of CRIQUETTE, was fined Rs.1,000/- for coming in and causing interference to OYE COMO VA (A. Ashhad Asbar) on his inside approaching the 900 Metres.

 

Jockey Arshad Alam, the rider of STAR OF DESIRE, reported that he lost his whip passing the 350 Metres.

 

Jockey Irvan Singh, the rider of SHUBH RAHI, was fined Rs.1,000/- for shifting in and causing interference to PERFECT KING (Afsar Khan) on  his inside which had to be checked by its rider and shift out inconveniencing SUDHA (Nazerul Alam) approaching the 300 Metres.

Jockey Afsar Khan, the rider of PERFECT KING, reported that his mount was not galloping fluently. The horse was impounded for veterinary examination but no abnormality was reported.

 

It was reported after the race that CRIQUETTE (M. Prabhakaran) burst its blood vessels during the race.  Trainer Mr. Neil Darashah was informed that he must produce a Fitness Certificate from the Club’s Veterinary Officer before accepting with it again.

 

Routine Sample was taken for analysis from the winner ch f CRIQUETTE.

 

3rd Race:     207. The Champion Jockey Cup Div.II - (About) 1400 Metres. Horses rated 20  to 45, 4 years old and over  (12 Runners).

 

I SMILE (Naveen M) jumped awkwardly outwards and inconvenienced HELIOS (Rajesh Kumar M) on its outside soon after jumping out of the starting gates.

 

Jockey Antony Raj S, the rider of MILLROSE, was fined Rs.2,000/- for shifting in and causing interference to WHOLELOTTALOVE (Irvan Singh) on his inside approaching the 1200 Metres.

 

Jockey Rajesh Kumar M, the rider of HELIOS, was fined Rs.2,000/- for coming in and causing interference to MILLROSE (Antony Raj S) on his inside approaching the 1100 Metres.

 

Jockey A. Ramu, the rider of RUBI REY, was reprimanded for travelling wide rounding the final bend for no apparent reason.

 

Jockey Rajesh Kumar M, the rider of HELIOS, was fined Rs.3,000/- for not exercising sufficient control under the use of whip whereby he allowed his mount to drift out in the final 300 Metres of the race.

 

Jockey G. Adarsh, the rider of SHE LOVES IT, was reprimanded for riding an indifferent race.

 

SHE LOVES IT (G. Adarsh) was impounded for veterinary examination but no abnormality was reported.

 

Routine Sample was taken for analysis from the winner b g SANDS OF TIME.

 

4th Race:     208. The Champion Trainer Cup Div.III - (About) 1200 Metres. Horses rated 20  to 45 (11 Runners).

 

Permission was granted to trainer Mr. Arjun Mangalorkar to withdraw ONE MORE TOY (Y.S. Srinath) on veterinary grounds as it was found to have sustained bleeding cut injuries on right elbow and right hip.  He was informed that he must produce a Fitness Certificate from the Club’s Veterinary Officer before accepting with it again.

 

Jockey V.R. Jagadeesh, the rider of FLYING BULLET, was fined Rs. 2,000/- for coming in and causing interference to MR BIG SHOT (A. Imran Khan) on his inside passing the 750 Metres.

 

Jockey G. Sai Vamshi, the rider of ALL THATS NICE, was severely reprimanded for shifting out and taking out OLE (P. Trevor) on his outside approaching the 300 Metres. 

 

OMBER GLAZER (A.R. Pradeep) was impounded for veterinary examination. On examination by the Club’s Veterinary Officer it was reported at 4.42 p.m. that it had burst its blood vessels (endoscopy - Grade III). Trainer S. Ganapathy was informed that he must produce a Fitness Certificate from the Club’s Veterinary Officer before accepting with it again. 

 

Routine Sample was taken for analysis from the winner b f MEHERANI. 

 

5th Race:     209. The Leading Tipster Cup Div.I - (About) 1200 Metres. Horses rated 00  to 25 (10 Runners).

 

Permission was granted to Trainer Mr. F. Sirajuddin to withdraw WINDYANNA on veterinary grounds as it was found to have sustained deep cut injury on right hind cannon. He was informed that he must produce a Fitness Certificate from the Club’s Veterinary Officer before accepting with it again.

 

Permission was granted to Trainer Mr. Faraz Arshad to withdraw EUCALYPTUS on veterinary grounds as it was found to be walking lame on left fore due to sprained shoulder. He was informed that he must produce a Fitness Certificate from the Club’s Veterinary Officer before accepting with it again.

 

DANCING SYMPHONY (S. Guruprasad) ran detached from the field.  The horse was impounded for veterinary examination. On examination by the Club’s Veterinary Officer, it was found to have sustained cut injury on left hind cannon and right hind fetlock.

 

Routine Sample was taken for analysis from the winner gr f SEA DOVE.

 

6th Race:     210. The Champion Trainer Cup Div.I - (About) 1200 Metres. Horses rated 20  to 45 (11 Runners).

 

Permission was granted to trainer Mr. S. Dominic to withdraw TEMUJIN on veterinary grounds as it was found to have sustained bleeding cut injury on right fore fetlock and right quarter.  He was informed that he must produce a Fitness Certificate from the Club’s Veterinary Officer before accepting with it again.

 

HIDDEN DEAL (Ashok Kumar A) jumped out awkwardly.

 

AIR DANCER (Jan’dhan Paswan) ran detached from the field. Trainer Mr. Nityanand G was informed to ensure better performance of his charge in future.

      

Routine Sample was taken for analysis from the winner b c HEISENBERG. .

 

7th Race:     211. The Governor’s Cup (Grade III) - (About) 2400 Metres,  4 years old and over (Terms) (5 Runners).

 

Compulsory Samples were taken for analysis from the following I, II & III placed horses viz:

          b g   TOROLOCO              III

 

 

QUASAR (Yash Narredu) was impounded for veterinary examination. On examination by the Club’s Veterinary Officer it was reported at 4.45 p.m. that it had burst its blood vessels (endoscopy - Grade II). Trainer M. Narredu was informed that he must produce a Fitness Certificate from the Club’s Veterinary Officer before accepting with it again. 

 

8th Race:     212. The Leading Owner Cup - (About) 1400 Metres. Horses rated 40  to 65, 5 years old and over  (12 Runners).

                                                    

Jockey  Rajesh N, the rider of LITTLE LOVE, was fined Rs.2,000/- for shifting in and causing interference to AYRTON (Antony Raj S) which had to check and shift out resulting in ADRIPHOS (Sunil Samson) stumbling and totally unbalancing its rider approaching the 1100 Metres.

 

ACE ANGELFIRE (Arshad Alam) sustained cut injury on right hock.

 

ATTRACTIVE BAY (Rajesh Kumar M) sustained cut injury on left hind outer bulb of heel.

 

Routine Sample was taken for analysis from the winner b g DIAMOND QUEST.

EIGHTEENTH DAY, SUNDAY, 12TH  JULY 2015

159 The Chennai Cup Div.II– (About) 1200 Metres. Maiden Horses 3 years old only (Horses who have run at least thrice but not  placed second, third or fourth even once ineligible)

 

The Stipendiary Stewards held an enquiry on 13th July 2015 as regards the use of Blinkers on AMBER SKY by trainer Mr. S. Narredu in the above race. After due enquiry the Stipendiary Stewards decided to fine trainer Mr. S. Narredu a sum of Rs.5,000/- for giving false evidence on the day of the race and for using Blinkers on his charge AMBER SKY for which he had not obtained prior permission.

 

NINETEENTH DAY, SATURDAY, 18TH JULY, 2015

165.The Alekona Trophy-(About)1100 Metres. Horses rated 20  to 45 

 

The Stipendiary Stewards reported Jockey B. Nayak to the Stewards for Contravention of Rule No.159(a) of the BTC Rules of Racing on his mount INTERACTIVE in the above race.  The Stewards held an enquiry on Thursday, 6th August 2015 after the last race and considered the Minutes of the enquiry of the Stipendiary Stewards held on Monday, 20th July 2015 and the Charge Sheet No.947 issued to Jockey B. Nayak. The Stewards examined trainer Mr. Imtiaz Khan and Jockey B. Nayak. After deliberations they decided to (a) declare Jockey B. Nayak as a disqualified person from 22-8-2015 to 31-12-2015 (both days inclusive) for contravention of Rule No.159(a) of the BTC Rules of Racing on his mount INTERACTIVE in the above race (not permitted to ride work); (b) issue a suspended sentence for a period of 3 months which would come into effect should he be found guilty the next time for such an offence or any other such offence under BTC Rules of Racing; and (c) severely caution trainer Mr. Imtiaz Khan as to the selection of riders to ride his charges in future. 

 

TWENTYTHIRD DAY, THURSDAY, 30TH JULY, 2015

185. The Yeravada Stud Plate – Div.II - (About) 1400 Metres. Horses rated 40 to 65, 4 years old and over 

 

The Stipendiary Stewards reported Jockey P. Mani to the Stewards for Unsatisfactory Riding Rule No.161(ii) of the BTC Rules of Racing on his mount TRUST ME BOY in the above race.  The Stewards held an enquiry on Thursday, 6th August 2015 after the last race and considered the Minutes of the enquiry of the Stipendiary Stewards held on Tuesday, 1st August 2015 and the Charge Sheet No.946 issued to Jockey P. Mani. The Stewards examined trainer Mr. F. Sirajuddin and Jockey P. Mani. After deliberations they decided to suspend Jockey P. Mani from riding in races from 6-11-2015 to 20-11-2015 (both days inclusive) for Unsatisfactory Riding Rule No.161(ii) of the BTC Rules of Racing on his mount TRUST ME BOY  in the above race (permitted to ride work).

WRONG TRACK NUMBER

The Stipendiary Stewards held an enquiry on 1st August 2015 as regards sporting the same Track Number (217) on two of the charges of trainer Mr. Irfan Ghatala viz. TOROLOCO & BRILLIANT CUT on 31-7-2015 during morning track work. After due enquiry the Stipendiary Stewards decided to fine trainer Mr. Irfan Ghatala a sum of Rs.5,000/- for using wrong Track Number on his charge BRILLIANT CUT.
