1st Race : 1. The Welcome Plate - (About) 1200 Metres. Maiden Horses 3 years old only (Horses who have run at least thrice but not placed second, third or fourth even once ineligible) (Terms) (11 Runners)
FLIRTING EYES (David Breux) was extremely fractious, reared up and fell down inside the gates. Under the circumstances it was permitted to be withdrawn on veterinary grounds before coming under Starter’s orders. Trainer Mr. S. Ganapathy was informed that he must produce a Fitness Certificate from the Club’s Veterinary Officer before accepting with it again.
Jockey Vinod Shinde, the rider of SPLENDID SPLASHER, was reprimanded for shifting in and inconveniencing SIYOUNI (Kiran Naidu) approaching the 900 Metres.
Jockey D. Patel, the rider of EXPORT QUALITY, was reprimanded for shifting out and inconveniencing SIYOUNI (Kiran Naidu) approaching the 900 Metres.
Routine Sample was taken for analysis from the winner b g SPLENDID SPLASHER.
2nd Race : 2. The Esquire Trophy - (About) 1400 Metres. Maiden Indian horses 3 years old only (Horses who have run at least thrice but not placed second, third or fourth even once ineligible) – (Terms) (9 Runners)
Jockey Suraj Narredu, the rider of NAMID, reported that his mount was lugging in under pressure during the final stages of the race.
REMINGTON STEEL (Bhawani Singh) was impounded for veterinary examination, but no abnormality was reported.

3rd Race: 3. The Malenahalli Plate – (About) 1200 Metres. Horses rated 00 to 25, 4 years old and over (12 Runners).
INTENSIVE ACT (Bhawani Singh) was impounded for veterinary examination but no abnormality was reported.
Routine Sample was taken for analysis from the winner b g RARE AND FAMOUS.
4th Race: 4. The Maj. Newton Davis Memorial Cup-Div.I – (About) 1400 Metres. Horses rated 30 to 50 (9 Runners).
Trainer Mr. Narayana Gowda was fined Rs.1,000/- for using blinkers on his charge MYSTIC SHADOW (Rajesh Kumar M) for which prior permission had not been obtained. Subsequently it was removed before the horse left the paddock.
POSSIMPOSSIBLE (M. Noornabi) was examined at the starting gates and was found to be trotting lame on left fore due to sprained shoulder. Under the circumstances it was permitted to be withdrawn on veterinary grounds before coming under Starter’s orders. Trainer Mr. G. Sandhu was informed that he must produce a Fitness Certificate from the Club’s Veterinary Officer before accepting with it again.
SHINING MAGIC (S. Mallikarjun) jumped awkwardly inwards.
MYSTICAL SHADOW (Rajesh Kumar M) reared up as the gates opened.
AFORE (Janardhan Paswan) jumped awkwardly outwards.
Jockey S. Mallikarjun, the rider of SHINING MAGIC, reported that his mount raced very keen between the 1100 Metres and 900 Metres as such he had to check his mount to avoid striking the front runner FAIR GAME (M. Mark) and had to shift out.
Jockey Janardhan Paswan, the rider of AFORE, reported that he lost his whip approaching the 300 Metres.
AFORE (Janardhan Paswan) sustained cut injury on left fore.

5th Race: 5. The Mayor’s Cup – (About) 1200 Metres. Horses rated 60 and above (12 Runners)
SUPER SUNSHINE (Suraj Narredu) jumped awkwardly outwards and bumped HIDDEN SOLDIER (Kiran Rai) at the start.
Jockey Kiran Rai P, the rider of HIDDEN SOLDIER, was fined Rs.1,000/- for shifting in and causing interference to EMPEROR CRUISE (S. John) on his inside approaching the 900 Metres.
Jockey Ryan Marshall, the rider of SEA FAIREY, was reprimanded for shifting in and inconveniencing HIDDEN SOLDIER (Kiran Rai) on his inside rounding the final bend.
UNGOOGLEABLE (M. Noornabi) sustained bruises on left hock.
Routine Sample was taken for analysis from the winner b f STARLET.
6th Race: 6. The Littleover Plate – (About) 1400 Metres. Horses rated 15 to 35, 4 years old and over (12 Runners).
It was observed that left stirrup on ONE MAN SHOW (R. Praveen Shinde) had come off while jumping out from the starting gates as such he removed his right leg also from the stirrup approaching the 1100 Metres therefore he had to ride without the aid of the equipment thereafter.
Jockey Kiran Naidu, the rider of AMAZING SKILL, was fined Rs.3,000/- for not exercising sufficient control over his mount under the use of whip in the final 200 Metres thereby causing interference to the horses on his outside viz. ABLE MASTER (Suraj Narredu), PULL THE PLUG (T.S. Jodha) and REVELNATION (Janardhan Paswan).
PULL THE PLUG (T.S. Jodha) was impounded for veterinary examination but no abnormality was reported.
Routine Sample was taken for analysis from the winner br c STORM AHEAD.
7th Race: 7. The Royal Command Plate – (About) 1100 Metres. Horses rated 15 to 35 (12 Runners).
Jockey S. Mallikarjun, the rider of MY KING, reprimanded for shifting in and inconveniencing SHE LOVES IT (Adarsh G) on his inside approaching the 300 Metres.
KAMAAL (Vinod Shinde) was impounded for veterinary examination but no abnormality was reported.
Routine Sample was taken for analysis from the winner ch g AIZAAN.
8th Race: 8. The Maj. Newton Davis Memorial Cup – Div.II – (About) 1400 Metres. Horses rated 30 to 50 (10 Runners).
Permission was granted to trainer Mr. M.P. Mahaesh to withdraw RAPID ADVANCE on veterinary grounds as it was found to be lame on right hind. He was informed that he must produce a Fitness Certificate from the Club’s Veterinary Officer before accepting with it again.
Jockey Arshad Alam, the rider of GOOD FORTUNE, reported that his mount was very keen between the 900 Metres and 800 Metres as such he had to check his mount to avoid striking the front runner SIOBHAN (A. Sandesh) in the process shifted out and inconvenienced FLAME’S FURY (P. Kiran Rai).
