RACING INCIDENTS

winning post from its original position)
1st Race: 32. The Holding Court Plate – Div.II – (About) 1200 Metres.
Horses rated 15 to 35 (10 Runners).
REVERBERATING (Kiran Rai P) jumped awkwardly inwards and inconvenienced
KING SMILE (K. Mukesh Kumar) at the start.
Jockey T.S. Jodha, the rider of ROARING THUNDER, was fined Rs.2,000/- for
shifting in and causing interference to INTERNAL AFFAIR (N.B. Kuldeep) and KING
SMILE (K. Mukesh Kumar) which was travelling directly behind also had to be
checked by its rider and shifted out passing the 900 Metres.
ASTRAL SPIRIT (M. Noornabi) had to be checked by its rider to avoid
striking the front runner REVERBERATING (Kiran Rai P) in the process shifted out
and inconvenienced TEA WID ME (D. Patel) passing the 300 Metres.
ASTRAL SPIRIT (M. Noornabi) was impounded for veterinary examination and
no abnormality was reported.
It was reported after the race that DANCING PRINCESS (P.S. Chouhan) burst
its blood vessels (Endoscopy Grade III – at 2.15 p.m.). Trainer Mr. Pradeep
Annaiah was informed that he must produce a Fitness Certificate from the Club’s
Veterinary Officer before accepting with it again.
Routine Sample was taken for analysis from the winner b g HIGH HAWK.
2nd Race: 33. The Malakpet Plate – (About) 1600 Metres. Horses rated 00 to
20 (9 Runners).
HERO WORSHIP (S. Zervan) was extremely fractious, reared up and sat down
on the quarters for a considerable period of time. Under the circumstances it
was permitted to be withdrawn before coming under Starter’s orders.
FLASH FIRE (Akshay Kumar) planted and did not take any practical part in
the race. In view of its behaviour trainer Mr. Faraz Arshad) was informed that
he must not accept with it again until its behaviour improved to the
satisfaction of the Stipendiary Stewards in a Mock Race.
RED CEDAR (Bhawani Singh) was impounded for veterinary examination but no
abnormality was reported.
Jockey Adarsh G, the rider of INTERACTIVE, was reprimanded for not
maintaining a straight course during the final stages of the race.
Jockey Adarsh G, the rider of INTERACTIVE, was fined Rs.3,000/- for the
excessive and improper use of the whip on his mount during the race (1st
infringement).
Routine Sample was taken for analysis from the winner b m INTERACTIVE.
3rd Race: 34. The Brig. R.C.R. Hill Memorial Trophy – Div.II -(About) 1200
Metres. Horses rated 30 to 50 (7 Runners).
It was observed that the Australian Nose Band on NEW PRINCE (S. Zervan)
had snapped before the start of the race. Hence it was permitted to be withdrawn
before coming under Starter’s orders.
SECRET PRAYER (Rajesh Kumar M) jumped awkwardly outwards and
inconvenienced RARE AND BOLD (Prashant P Dhebe) at the start.
Jockey Kiran Rai P, the rider of HUMMING BIRD, reported that his mount was
hanging in after entering the straight. Trainer Mr. Narayana Gowda V was
informed to take appropriate corrective measures before accepting with it again.
It was reported after the race that SAIRANI (Deepak Singh G) burst its
blood vessels. Trainer Mr. Imtiaz Khan was informed that he must produce a
Fitness Certificate from the Club’s Veterinary Officer before accepting with it
again.
Routine Sample was taken for analysis from the winner b f DIVA.
4th Race: 35. The Glorious Colours Plate – (About) 1200 Metres. Maiden
Horses 3 years old only (Horses who have run at least thrice but not placed
second, third or fourth even once ineligible) (12 Runners).
Jockey K. Mukesh Kumar, the rider of GOOD WISHES, was fined Rs.1,000/- for
not exercising sufficient control over his mount under the use of whip thereby
allowing it to drift out in the final 200 Metres of the race.
GOOD WISHES (K. Mukesh Kumar) was impounded for veterinary examination but
no abnormality was reported.
Routine Sample was taken for analysis from the winner b f ANANTARA.
5th Race: 36. The Speaker’s Cup – (About) 1400 Metres. Horses rated 60 and
above (12 Runners).
Jockey A. Imran Khan, the rider of RUSSIAN LINK, reported that his mount
was lugging out after entering the straight. The horse was impounded for
veterinary examination but no abnormality was reported.
Routine Sample was taken for analysis from the winner b r ZUCCHERO.
6th Race: 37. The Brig. R.C.R. Hill Memorial Trophy – Div.I -(About) 1200
Metres. Horses rated 30 to 50 (8 Runners).
Jockey Arshad Alam, the rider of GOOD FORTUNE, was fined Rs.3,000/- for
the excessive and improper use of the whip on his mount during the race (1st
infringement).
It was reported after the race that the saddle on MAN OF LAW (R. Praveen
Shinde) shifted back approaching the 300 Metres whereby he had to remove
both his legs from the stirrup and ride without the aid of the equipment
thereafter. After due examination of the equipment trainer Mr. Faraz Arshad was
fined Rs.3,000/- for faulty saddling.

7th Race: 38. The Prince Khartoum Trophy – (About) 1100 Metres. Maiden
Horses 3 years old only (Horses who have run at least thrice but not placed
second, third or fourth even once ineligible)(12 Runners).
NATANZA (Kavraj Singh) jumped awkwardly outwards and inconvenienced MASADA
(Janardhan Paswan) at the start.
NATANZA (Kavraj Singh) was impounded for veterinary examination but no
abnormality was reported.
Surprise Sample was taken for analysis from b c NATANZA.
Routine Sample was taken for analysis from the winner b f BACK IN A FLASH.
8th Race: 39. The Holding Court Plate – Div.I – (About) 1200 Metres.
Horses rated 15 to 35 (11 Runners).
An enquiry is being held into the running and riding of NATIVE RULER
trained by Mr. Sharat Kumar and ridden by Jockey Naveen M.
Jockey Deepak Singh, the rider of CARDUCCI, was fined Rs.3,000/- for not
making sufficient effort on his mount during the race.
Trainer Mr.Imtiaz Khan was fined Rs.3,000/- for the unsatisfactory
explanation tendered in respect of his charge CARDUCCI during the enquiry.
Jockey Rajesh Kumar M, the rider of ISLAND PEARL, was fined Rs.3,000/- for
the incompetent handling of his mount during the race.
NATIVE RULER (Naveen M) was impounded for veterinary examination but no
abnormality was reported.
Routine Sample was taken for analysis from the winner b f TELANGANA QUEEN.
