1st Race: 40. The Baraloy Plate – Div.II - (About) 1400 Metres. Horses rated 15 to 35, 5 years old and over (10 Runners).


Jockey Abhishek Pawar, the rider of BOYSTEROUS, reported that he accidentally lost his whip approaching the 150 Metres.


WOODRIDGE (B.L. Paswan) was impounded for veterinary examination but no abnormality was reported.


Routine Sample was taken for analysis from the winner ch m HOSTESS.


2nd Race: 41. The Bourbon King Plate – (About) 1200 Metres. Horses rated 00 to 25, 5 years old and over (12 Runners).


Jockey Kiran Rai P, the rider of SCORCHING, reported that he accidentally lost his whip approaching the 150 Metres.


Routine Sample was taken for analysis from the winner b g PRECIOUS GLITTER.


3rd Race: 42. The Moonlight Romance Trophy – (About) 1400 Metres. Maiden Horses 3 years old only (Horses who have run at least thrice but not placed second, third or fourth even once ineligible) (Terms) (7 Runners).


TAMARA (T.S. Jodha) was extremely fractious and refused to be stalled. Under the circumstances it was permitted to be withdrawn before coming under Starter’s orders.


Jockey A. Sandesh, the rider of CAPTAIN MORGAN, reported that his mount slipped from its hind approaching the 900 Metres.


Jockey Vinod Shinde, the rider of LIGHTNING ATTACK, reported that his mount accidentally stumbled approaching the 800 Metres.


Routine Sample was taken for analysis from the winner dk b c CAPTAIN MORGAN.


4th Race: 43. The V. Venugopal Naidu Memorial Cup – Div.I - (About) 1400 Metres. Horses rated 45 to 65 (9 Runners).


Trainer Mr. Sharat Kumar was fined Rs.5,000/- for the unsatisfactory explanation tendered in respect of his charge COOL BABY during the enquiry.


Jockey Ramesh Kumar N, the rider of COOL BABY, was fined Rs.5,000/- for not making sufficient effort on his mount during the race.


It was reported after the race that CALICO JACK (M. Chettri) burst its blood vessels (Endoscopy Grade III – at 4.15 p.m.). Trainer Mr. S. Inayathulla was informed that he must produce a Fitness Certificate from the Club’s Veterinary Officer before accepting with it again.


COOL BABY (Ramesh Kumar N) was impounded for veterinary examination but no abnormality was reported.


Surprise Sample was taken for analysis from dk b g CALICO JACK.


Routine Sample was taken for analysis from the winner b g FORCE ENSIGN.


5th Race: 44. The Racing Patrons Cup – (About) 1200 Metres. 4 years old and over (11 Runners).


SMILE STONE (Mukesh Kumar K) took a fly jump and lost few lengths at the start. Trainer Mr. Sharat Kumar was informed that he must not accept with it again until its behaviour improved to the satisfaction of the Stipendiary Stewards in a jump out on a starting gate practice day.


SUPER SUNSHINE (Kiran Naidu) was slowly away and lost few lengths at the start. Trainer Mr. Rajesh Narredu was informed that he must not accept with it again until its behaviour improved to the satisfaction of the Stipendiary Stewards in a jump out on a starting gate practice day.


Jockey Rajesh Kumar M, the rider of MICKEY MOUSE, was reprimanded for shifting in and inconveniencing ACCLAIMED (S. Zervan) approaching the 800 Metres.


ETERNAL FLAME (David Breux) sustained cut injury on right hind cannon.


ACCLAIMED (S. Zervan) sustained cut injuries on left hind cannon.

6th Race: 45. The Classical Act Plate – (About) 1400 Metres. Horses rated 30 to 50, 4 years old and over (11 Runners).


Permission was granted to trainer Mr. Hidayat Khan to withdraw FIRING LINE (Sunil Samson) on veterinary grounds as it was found to have inflamed capped elbow on left fore. He was informed that he must produce a Fitness Certificate from the Club’s Veterinary Officer before accepting with it again.

7th Race: 46. The V. Venugopal Naidu Memorial Cup – Div.II - (About) 1400 Metres. Horses rated 45 to 65 (10 Runners).


Jockey S. Zervan, the rider of CATALEYA, was fined Rs.3,000/- for shifting in and causing interference to ONE BIG GANG (M. Noornabi) passing the 1300 Metres.


NOBLE REWARD (G. Sai Vamshi) walked out of the gates and ran detached thereafter till about 200 Metres. In view of its behaviour trainer Mr. V. Lokanath was informed that he must not accept with it again until its behaviour improved to the satisfaction of the Stipendiary Stewards in a Mock Race on a race day on the race track.


Jockey Prasad M, the rider of AMAZING REDD, was severely reprimanded for riding an indifferent race.


EVIDENCE (Arshad Alam) sustained cut injury on right fore fetlock.


Routine Sample was taken for analysis from the winner b f CATALEYA.


8th Race: 47. The Baraloy Plate – Div.I - (About) 1400 Metres. Horses rated 15 to 35, 5 years old and over (10 Runners).


Jockey Prashant P Dhebe replaced the indisposed Manesh K on CANNES.


CELESTIAL STORM (Shoban Babu) planted and lost many lengths at the start. In view of its behaviour, trainer Mr. S. Inayathulla was informed that he must not accept with it again until its behaviour improved to the satisfaction of the Stipendiary Stewards in a Mock Race on a race day on the race track.

23. The Southern Empire Trophy – (About) 1400 Metres. Maiden Horses 3 years old only (Horses who have run at least thrice but not placed second, third or fourth even once ineligible)


An enquiry was held into the fall of Jockey P. Trevor on his mount SHERYN passing 300 Metres in that after entering the straight Jockey A. Imran Khan, the rider of ATTORNEY GENERAL gradually shifted in nearing the 300 Metres whereby the gap on the inside got closed resulting in Jockey P. Trevor, the rider of SHERYL who was tightened in between ATTORNEY GENERAL and ADULATION due to which Jockey p. Trevor checked his mount, got unbalanced and was dislodged from the mount.

(a) Jockey A. Imran Khan was issued a charge sheet (No.006) on 22nd May 2016 as his riding was observed to be careless.

(b) As per the charge sheet he was again interviewed on 26-5-2016 wherein he accepted the charge of careless riding. Accordingly under BTC Rules of Racing 161(i) Jockey A. Imran Khan’s licence was suspended from 11-6-2016 to 12-6-2016 (both days inclusive) for careless riding on his mount ATTORNEY GENERAL in the above race.


(c) Jockey A. Imran Khan was informed of his right of appeal to the Board of Appeal.
