Penetrometer Reading: 4.1 Cms

 

Railing Position: Railing fixed at its original position from 1600 Metres to 1100 Metres, railing fixed at an average width of 3.5 Metres from 1100 Metres to 400 Metres and railing fixed at its original position from 400 Metres to winning post.

 

1st Race:     140. The Mysore Cup Div.II –  (About) 1400 Metres. Horses rated 15  to 35 (12 Runners).

 

Jockey S. Lalit, the rider of REFORMER, was reprimanded for shifting out and inconveniencing CUSTOM BUILT (Nazim) approaching the 700 Metres.

 

Jockey Tauseef Ahmed, the rider of RED ADMIRAL, was reprimanded for riding an indifferent race.

 

It was reported after the race that ROYAL STRIKER (Kiran Naidu) pulled up lame on right hind due to sprained tendon.  Trainer Mr. Anupam Sharma was informed that he must produce a Fitness Certificate from the Club’s Veterinary Officer before accepting with it again.

 

ROYAL STRIKER (Kiran Naidu) sustained cut injury on right tendon.

 

Routine Sample was taken for analysis from the winner b c LEGACY DREAM.  

 

2nd Race:     141. The Delhi Cup – (About) 1600 Metres. For horses rated 15 to 35, 4 years old and over  (7 Runners).

 

Permission was granted to trainer Mr. Imtiaz Khan to withdraw LOVE IS LIFE  (Darshan R.N.) on veterinary grounds as it was found to have sustained injuries on left fore fetlock. He was informed that he must produce a Fitness Certificate from the Club’s Veterinary Officer before accepting with it again.

 

Jockey Y.S. Srinath, the rider of BORN PHOENIX, reported that his mount was hanging in after entering the straight.

 

Routine Sample was taken for analysis from the winner b f AMAZING SKILL.

 

3rd Race:     142. The Chennai Cup – (About) 1200 Metres. Maiden Horses 3 years old only (Horses who have run at least thrice but not  placed second, third or fourth even once ineligible) (Terms) (11 Runners).

 

Trainer Mr. S.S.F. Hassan was fined Rs.2,000/- for the error in scratching form in regard to his charge TA TA in the above race.

 

Permission was granted to trainer Mr. Warren Singh to withdraw A HEARTTOREMEMBER (A. Ramu) on veterinary grounds as it was lame on left fore due to inflamed knee. He was informed that he must produce a Fitness Certificate from the Club’s Veterinary Officer before accepting with it again.

 

Jockey S. Zervan, the rider of GYPSY, was fined Rs.5,000/- for not making sufficient effort on his mount during the race.

 

Jockey Neeraj Rawal, the rider of STELLA MARI, was reprimanded for dropping hands before passing the winning post.

 

Routine Sample was taken for analysis from the winner b c TZAR.

 

4th Race:     143. The Kolkata Cup - (About) 1800 Metres. Horses rated 60 and above  (6 Runners).

 

Routine Sample was taken for analysis from the winner  dk b f QUAKER RIDGE.

 

5th Race:     144. The Hyderabad Cup - (About) 1400 Metres. Maiden Horses 3 years old only (Horses who have run at least thrice but not  placed second, third or fourth even once ineligible) (Terms) (11 Runners).

 

MATCHPOINT (S. John) was slowly away.

 

FLIRTING EYES (David Breux) was extremely fractious in the saddling enclosure and could not be saddled. Under the circumstances it was permitted to be withdrawn.

 

Routine Sample was taken for analysis from the winner dk b f SECRET PURSUIT.  

 

6th Race:     145. The Mumbai Cup – Div.I - (About) 1200 Metres. Horses rated 30  to 50 (8  Runners).

 

Permission was granted to trainer Mr. S. Padmanabhan to withdraw SALADIN (S. Zervan) on veterinary grounds as it was found to be lame on right fore due to inflammed hoof. He was informed that he must produce a Fitness Certificate from the Club’s Veterinary Officer before accepting with it again.

 

Jockey N.B. Kuldeep, the rider of EVIDENCE, reported that he lost his right stirrup soon after the start which he regained passing the 1100 Metres.

 

Jockey P.S. Chouhan, the rider of HAVELOCK PRINCESS,  was fined Rs.2,000/- for shifting in and causing interference to the horses on his inside viz. GHOONJ (T.S. Jodha) and EVIDENCE (N.B. Kuldeep) before passing the red marker post.

 

EVIDENCE (N.B. Kuldeep) was impounded for veterinary examination. On examination, the Club’s Veterinary Officer reported that it was found to have sharp molars on both upper and lower jaw.  Hence trainer Mr. Nityanand G was fined Rs.3,000/- for his negligence in discharging his duties as a trainer (1st offence).

 

Routine Sample was taken for analysis from the winner b f BACK IN A FLASH.

 

7th  Race:     146. The Kingfisher Ultra Derby Bangalore (Grade I) – (About) 2000 Metres.  For 3 year old Indian Horses (Foaled in 2013) (Terms) (12 Runners).

 

Trainer Mr. G. Sandhu was fined Rs.5,000/- for late submission of scratching form with regard to his charge LOCHNESS.

 

Jockey A. Sandesh, the rider of SERJEANT AT ARMS, was fined Rs.1,000/- for shifting out and taking out STAR NIJINSKY (T.S. Jodha) approaching the 700 Metres. 

 

Jockey T.S. Jodha (STAR NIJINSKY) shifted in at about 250 Metres and at the same time Jockey Akshay Kumar (AIKA AIKA AIKA) shifted out to make his move due to which SUPREME GENERAL (P.S. Chouhan) which was racing between them received interference and checked his mount. Jockeys T.S. Jodha and Akshay Kumar were fined Rs.3,000/- each for the interference.

 

Compulsory Samples were taken for analysis from the following I, II and III placed horses viz:

8th Race:     147. The Mysore Cup Div.I –  (About) 1400 Metres. Horses rated 15  to 35 (11 Runners).

 

Permission was granted to trainer Mr. Azhar Ali to withdraw INTREPID WARRIOR (Arshad Alam) on veterinary grounds as it was found to be trotting lame on right fore due to inflammed hoof. He was informed that he must produce a Fitness Certificate from the Club’s Veterinary Officer before accepting with it again.

 

MYSTICAL SHADOW (Kiran Rai P) accidentally brushed the false rails passing the 1250 Metres.

 

Routine Sample was taken for analysis from the winner b g LORD DARLINGTON.

 

9th Race:     148. The Mumbai Cup – Div.II - (About) 1200 Metres. Horses rated 30  to 50 (9 Runners).

 

Jockey Neeraj Rawal, the rider of FOURTH DIMENSION, reported that his mount was not galloping fluently in the final stages of the race. The horse was impounded for veterinary examination but no abnormality was reported.

 

Routine Sample was taken for analysis from the winner b f ARABELLE.
