Going: Good Penetrometer Reading: 3.8 Cms (Railing position: Railing fixed at average width of 4 Metres from 1600 Metres to the winning post from its original position). 1st Race: 149. The Pune Plate Div.II - (About) 1200 Metres. Horses rated 00 to 20, 5 years old and over (9 Runners). It was observed that the cheek piece on NEW VICTOR (Ramesh Kumar N) had snapped inside the starting gate. Under the circumstances it was permitted to be withdrawn before coming under Starter’s order. Permission was granted to trainer Mr. Amit Caddy to withdraw SUMMER STAR on veterinary grounds as it was found to be suffering from colic. He was informed that he must produce a Fitness Certificate from the Club’s Veterinary Officer before accepting with it again. Jockey S. John, the rider of INTERACTIVE, was reprimanded for shifting in and inconveniencing KAROD PATI (S. Selvaraj) on his inside in the final 25 Metres of the race. Jockey Nazerul Alam, the rider of NAGARJUNA, was reprimanded for shifting in and inconveniencing ATLANTIC CITY (Syed Asgar) approaching the 1000 Metres. Routine Sample was taken for analysis from the winner b g NAGARJUNA. 2nd Race: 150. The Astronomic Plate - (About) 1400 Metres. Horses rated 15 to 35, 4 years old and over (12 Runners). WEAR THE HAT (Amyn Merchant) planted and lost many lengths at the start. In view of its behaviour trainer Mr. Darius Byramji was informed that he must not accepting with it again until its behaviour improved to the satisfaction of the Stipendiary Stewards in a Mock Race. Jockey S. Mallikarjan, the rider of A CROWN, was reprimanded for travelling wide from 600 Metres till about 500 Metres for no apparent reason. Jockey David Breux, the rider of SURNATUREL, was reprimanded for shifting out and inconveniencing BIG BEN (T.S. Jodha) on his outside approaching the 200 Metres. Jockey V.R. Jagadeesh, the rider of I’LL HAVE ONE MORE, reported that he lost his rein approaching the 200 Metres which he regained within a few strides. Jockey Vinod Shinde, the rider of DAENERYS, was reprimanded for not exercising sufficient control over his mount thereby allowing his mount to drift out passing the 150 Metres. BIG BEN (T.S. Jodha) sustained cut injury on left hind bulb of heel. SURNATUREL (David Breux) was impounded for veterinary examination. On examination, the Club’s Veterinary Officer reported that it was found to have burst its blood vessels (Endoscopy Grade II – at 2.45 P.M.). Trainer Mr. S. Ganapathy was informed that he must produce a Fitness Certificate from the Club’s Veterinary Officer before accepting with it again. Routine Sample was taken for analysis from the winner dk b f POWERSCOURT. 3rd Race: 151. The Pune Plate Div.I - (About) 1200 Metres. Horses rated 00 to 20, 5 years old and over (10 Runners). Permission was granted to trainer Mr. Samar Singh to withdraw IMPULSE on veterinary grounds as it was found to be suffering from colic. He was informed that he must produce a Fitness Certificate from the Club’s Veterinary Officer before accepting with it again. JEYEM’S SPIRIT (Ashok Kumar A) jumped awkwardly inwards inconveniencing THEJAGUAR (T.S. Jodha) which in turn passed it on to EMANCIPATION (Naveen M) soon after the start. FLYING BULLET (Suraj Narredu) sustained cut injury on right hind coronet. FLYING BULLET (Suraj Narredu) was impounded for veterinary examination. The Club’s Veterinary Officer reported that it was found to have burst its blood vessels (Endoscopy Grade II at 3.15 p.m.). Trainer Mr. B. Prithviraj was informed that he must produce a Fitness Certificate from the Club’s Veterinary Officer before accepting with it again. Routine Sample was taken for analysis from the winner b g SHINING BAY. 4th Race: 152. The Buck Passer Plate – Div.I - (About) 1400 Metres. Horses rated 30 to 50, 5 years old and over (10 Runners). Jockey Amyn Merchant, the rider of ADRIPHOS, was reprimanded for shifting in and inconveniencing HELIOS (Tauseef Ahmed) on his inside passing the 1000 Metres. Routine Sample was taken for analysis from the winner b g KING OF THE COURT. 5th Race: 153. The Karnataka Sub-Area Cup - (About) 1200 Metres. Horses rated 60 and above (12 Runners). ALBERTINO (Surya P) jumped awkwardly outwards and inconvenienced SUN GLOW (Manesh K) at the start. Jockey Manesh K, the rider of SUN GLOW, was reprimanded for travelling wide from 600 Metres till about 300 Metres. Jockey A. Sandesh, the rider of SUPER SUCCESS, reported that as his instructions were to ride from 2nd/3rd position and do his best in the straight, he was unable to get a forward position in the race as he felt his mount was not striding out well. The horse was impounded for veterinary examination but no abnormality was reported. Routine Sample was taken for analysis from the winner b g CASTLE KEY. 6th Race: 154. The Alekona Trophy - (About) 1100 Metres. Horses rated 15 to 35 (11 Runners). Permission was granted to trainer Mr. Pradeep Annaiah to withdraw STARHUNT (Harish B) on veterinary grounds as it was found to be trotting lame on left fore due to sprained knee. He was informed that he must produce a Fitness Certificate from the Club’s Veterinary Officer before accepting with it again. ASSERTIVE PRINCE (Kiran Rai P) planted and lost many lengths at the start. In view of its behaviour trainer Mr. Narayana Gowda V was informed that he must not accept with it again until its behaivour improved to the satisfaction of the Stipendiary Stewards in a Mock Race. Jockey Syed Imran, the rider of ANMOL HIRA, was fined Rs.1,000/- for shifting in and causing interference to QUEEN’S ACE, which in turn passed it on to HEAVEN AND EARTH (Vinod Shinde) approaching the 900 Metres. Jockey V.R. Jagadeesh, the rider of CADILLAC SKY, was fined Rs.3,000/- for the excessive use of the whip on his mount during the race (1st infringement). CADILLAC SKY (V.R. Jagadeesh) was impounded for veterinary examination, but no abnormality was reported. SANTORINI SECRET (T.S. Jodha) was impounded for veterinary examination, but no abnormality was reported. Trainer Mr. Neil Darashah was questioned regarding the running and riding of his charge CADILLAC SKY. Trainer stated that in its previous run it returned lame and bled. Considering the factors he preferred it to run for shorter distance although he felt that the horse is better over 7 furlong or 8 furlong races. He had no reservation with respect to the riding and felt that the Jockey had done his best. His explanations were noted. QUEENS ACE (Darshan R.N.) sustained cut injury on left gaskin. Routine Sample was taken for analysis from the winner b f FLOTUS. 7th Race: 155. The Ministrella Plate - (About) 1200 Metres. Maiden Horses 3 years old only (Horses who have run at least thrice but not placed second, third or fourth even once ineligible) (12 Runners). Jockey Suraj Narredu, the rider of ADMIRAL ONE, was fined Rs.5,000/- for shifting in and causing interference to LEPTIS MANGA (Ryan Marshall) which in turn passed it on to BOLD RUNNER (B. Nayak) before passing the red marker post. BOLD RUNNER (B. Nayak) was inconvenienced due to MISCHIEF FLYER (T.S. Jodha) and SCION (S. John) jumping awkwardly inwards and outwards respectively. Jockey A. Ashok Kumar, the rider of JERSEY BEAUTY, was fined Rs.3,000/- for not improving his position from the 800 Metres till the final bend. Surprise Sample was taken for analysis from b f JERSEY BEAUTY. Routine Sample was taken for analysis from the winner b f ADMIRAL ONE. 8th Race: 152. The Buck Passer Plate – Div.II - (About) 1400 Metres. Horses rated 30 to 50, 5 years old and over (11 Runners). SUMMER GOLD (A. Ramu) pulled up lame approaching the 350 Metres and the rider dismounted. On examination, the Club’s Veterinary Officer reported that it was found to be lame on left hind due to sprained quarter. Trainer Mr. Amit Caddy was informed that he must produce a Fitness Certificate from the Club’s Veterinary Officer before accepting with it again. Jockey Vivek, the rider of OPEN PAGE, was severely reprimanded for the injudicious handling of his mount during the race. It was reported after the race by the Club’s Veterinary Officer that ATTRACTIVE BAY (Tauseef Ahmed) pulled up lame on left fore due to sprained fetlock. Trainer Mr. Narayana Gowda V was informed that he must produce a Fitness Certificate from the Club’s Veterinary Officer before accepting with it again. It was reported after the race by the Club’s Veterinary Officer that SUMMER GOLD (A. Ramu) burst its blood vessels (Endoscopy Grade III – at 5.58 P.M.). Trainer Mr. Amit Caddy was informed that he must produce a Fitness Certificate from the Club’s Veterinary Officer before accepting with it again. Jockey G. Sai Vamshi, the rider of KIMORA, reported that his mount stopped galloping in the final 200 Metres. The horse was impounded for veterinary examination. On examination, the Club’s Veterinary Officer reported that it was found to have burst its blood vessels (Endoscopy Grade III – at 7.20 P.M.). Trainer Mr. Kishan Thomas was informed that he must produce a Fitness Certificate from the Club’s Veterinary Officer before accepting with it again.
