As Jockey Prashant Pramod Debhe having completed riding 10 wins, is now entitled to claim 3 Kgs allowance with effect from Sunday, 17th July 2016. 1st Race: 157. The Kranji Plate - (About) 1400 Metres. Horses rated 00 to 20 (6 Runners). Permission was granted to trainer Mr. Narayana Gowda V to withdraw REVERBERATING (Kiran Rai P) on veterinary grounds as it was found to have multiple cut injuries on right gaskin, right stifle and right flank. Trainer was informed that he must produce a Fitness Certificate from the Club’s Veterinary Officer before accepting with it again. AL FAARIS (Shobhan Babu) was examined at the starting gate by the Club’s Veterinary Officer and was found to be trotting lame on right hind due to a fall in the paddock. Under the circumstances it was permitted to be withdrawn on veterinary grounds before coming under Starter’s order. Trainer Mr. Hidayat Khan was informed that he must produce a Fitness Certificate from the Club’s Veterinary Officer before accepting with it again. Routine Sample was taken for analysis from the winner b f FOTOGENIC. 2nd Race: 158. The Noble Prince Plate - (About) 1200 Metres. Horses rated 15 to 35, 5 years old and over (12 Runners). REFORMER (T.S. Jodha) reared up as the gates opened. Jockey Kiran Rai P, the rider of CANDICE, was reprimanded for shifting in and inconveniencing FEET ON FIRE (Arshad Alam) soon after the start. Jockey Arshad Alam, the rider of FEET ON FIRE, was fined Rs.5,000/- for the excessive use of the whip on his mount during the race (2nd infringement). REFORMER (T.S. Jodha) was impounded for veterinary examination but no abnormality was reported. It was reported after the race that CANDICE (Kiran Rai P) burst its blood vessels. Zervan) sustained cut injury on right hind pastern. Routine Sample was taken for analysis from the winner b f BURNISHED GOLD. 4th Race: 160. The Manitou Trophy - (About) 1100 Metres. Maiden Horses 3 years old only (Horses who have run at least thrice but not placed second, third or fourth even once ineligible) (11 Runners). PAPADOKIA (A. Imran Khan) jumped awkwardly inwards and inconvenienced COUNTRY’S IMAGE (Amyn Merchant) soon after the start. Jockey A. Ashok Kumar, the ride of FINE BARRISTOR, was fined Rs.1,000/- for shifting in and causing interference to INDUSTRIALIST (S. John) which in turn passed it on to UNBELIEVABLE (S. Zervan) approaching the 1000 Metres. Jockey Neeraj Rawal, the rider of STEPHANIE, reported that his mount was trying to run out between 800 Metres till about 600 Metres. The horse was impounded for veterinary examination. On examination, the Club’s Veterinary Officer reported that it was found to have sharp molars on both upper and lower jaws. Hence trainer Mr. Bharath Singh was fined Rs.3,000/- for his negligence (1st infringement). Jockey T.S. Jodha, the rider of INCITATUS, reported that his mount was running green throughout the race. CASHMERE (B. Nayak) sustained cut injury on left hind tendon. Routine Sample was taken for analysis from the winner ch g PAPADOKIA. 5th Race: 161. The S.M. Ramakrishna Rao Memorial Cup – Div.I - (About) 1400 Metres. Horses rated 45 to 65, 4 years old and over (Whips not allowed) (11 Runners). DOWNTON ABBEY (S. John) jumped awkwardly outwards and inconvenienced BONFIRE (Rayan Ahmed R) soon after the start. Jockey Rajesh Kumar M, the rider of EXPERT, was reprimanded for shifting in and inconveniencing FELICIANA (A. Sandesh) on his inside passing the 600 Metres. Jockey Rayan Ahmed R, the rider of BONFIRE, was fined Rs.2,000/- for dropping hands before passing the winning post. It was reported after the race that EXPERT (Rajesh Kumar M) burst its blood vessels. Trainer Mr. Narayana Gowda V was informed that he must produce a Fitness Certificate from the Club’s Veterinary Officer before accepting with it again. HACKETT (Prashant P Dhebe) was examined at the starting gate and was found to be trotting lame on left fore due to sprained fetlock. Under the circumstances it was permitted to be withdrawn on veterinary grounds before coming under Starter’s order. Trainer Mr. Faraz Arshad was informed that he must produce a Fitness Certificate from the Club’s Veterinary Officer before accepting with it again. I SMILE (S. Mallikarjun) buckled while jumping out of the starting gates. MISS ADLER (A. Sandesh) slipped from its hind while jumping out of the starting gates. MISS ADLER (A. Sai Vamshi, the rider of ALL THAT’S NICE, was fined Rs.2,000/- for shifting out and causing interference to MAN OF LAW (Nazerul Alam) which in turn passed it on to TOP SMILES (S. John) passing the 250 Metres. Jockey Nazerul Alam, the rider of MAN OF LAW, was fined Rs.5,000/- for shifting in and causing interference to the horses on his inside viz. BRUNALDO (S. Selvaraj), ALL THAT’S NICE (G. Sai Vamshi) and RARE AND BOLD (Arshad Alam) soon after the start.
