1st Race: 116. The Tudorjet Plate – (About) 1400 Metres. Horses rated 00 to 20, 5 years old and over (Whips not allowed) (9 Runners).

HERO WORSHIP (Ajinkya R) reared up as the gates opened and bucked unseating the rider whereby the horse ran riderless thereafter. In view of its behaviour trainer Mr. L D’Silva was informed that he must not accept with it again until its behaviour improved to the satisfaction of the Stipendiary Stewards in a Mock Race.

NOBLE PRINCESS (Prasad M) jumped very awkwardly from the starting gates totally unbalancing the rider. In view of its behaviour trainer Mr. Kishan Thomas was informed that he must not accept with it again until its behaviour improved to the satisfaction of the Stipendiary Stewards in a Mock Race.

Jockey A. Imran Khan, the rider of TUSCANO, was reprimanded for shifting in and inconveniencing THALASSA (Amyn Merchant) on his inside passing the 200 Metres.

2nd Race: 117. The Young Rajput Plate - (About) 1200 Metres. Horses rated 15 to 35 (10 Runners).

REPSOL (Naveen M) was slowly away and lost few lengths at the start. In view of its behaviour trainer Mr. Sharat Kumar was informed that he must not accept with it again until its behaviour improved to the satisfaction of the Stipendiary Stewards in a Mock Race.

ISLAND PEARL (Rajesh Kumar) shifted in gradually from drawn 9 soon after jumping out causing inconvenience to NINJA (S. Zervan) and thereafter shifted in causing severe interference to NINJA (S. Zervan) which had to be checked by its rider and WHITE SNOWDROPS (Syed Asgar) which was traveling directly behind also had to be checked by its rider approaching the 900 Metres. (Looking into the incident).

It was reported after the last race that dk b f NINJA (S. Zervan) pulled up lame on left fore due to sprained knee. Trainer Mr. Darius Byramji was informed that he must produce a Fitness Certificate from the Club’s Veterinary Officer before accepting with it again.

Trainer Mr. Darius R Byramji was questioned regarding the running of his horse in this race. The trainer stated that he was not happy with the running of the horse himself and has decided to retire the horse.

3rd Race: 118. The Squanderer Trophy – Div.II - (About) 1400 Metres. Horses rated 60 and above (9 Runners).

SHIVALIK FIRE (S. Selvaraj) was slowly away and lost few lengths at the start. In view of its behaviour, Trainer Mr. Irfan Ghatala was informed that he must not accept with it again until its behaviour improved to the satisfaction of the Stipendiary Stewards in a jump out on a starting gate practice day.

It was observed that the left rein of Jockey Ahsan Qureshi, the rider of BE INSPIRED slipped passing the 300 Metres.

Jockey Rajesh Kumar M, the rider of VIRAT, was reprimanded for traveling wide rounding the final bend for no apparent reason.

Jockey Janardhan Paswan, the rider of TAQDEER KA BADSHAH, was fined Rs.3,000/- for not making sufficient effort on his mount during the race.

4th Race: 119. The Bold Gesture Plate - (About) 1600 Metres. Horses rated 30 to 50, 4 years old and over (12 Runners).

MYSTIC MUSIC (T.S. Jodha) was slowly away.

RAPID ADVANCE (Surya P) jumped awkwardly outwards unbalancing the rider at the start.

Jockey Vinod Shinde, the rider of AMAZING DESIRE, was reprimanded for shifting out and inconveniencing ZEPHIR (Janardhan Paswan) at the start.

Jockey Janardhan Paswan, the rider of ZEPHIR, was fined Rs.3,000/- for allowing his mount to travel wide rounding the final bend for no apparent reason.

5th Race: 120. The Squanderer Trophy – Div.I - (About) 1400 Metres. Horses rated 60 and above (8 Runners).

Jockey A.R. Pradeep replaced the indisposed Bhawani Singh to ride ETERNAL FLAME.

Jockey A. Sandesh, the rider of SEA FAIREY, was fined Rs.1,000/- for shifting in and causing interference to IM DIFFERENT (A. Imran Khan) approaching the 1200 Metres.

It was observed that the cap and goggle of the rider of ACE BADRAAN came off passing the 1000 Metres whereby the rider accidentally brushed the false rails and shifted out taking out RENEE (Suraj Narredu) and MYSTIC ROMANCE (Md. Islam) which was travelling directly behind also had to be checked by its rider and shifted out causing severe interference to SEA FAIREY (A. Sandesh) on his outside passing the 950 Metres. As this was accidental no action was taken beyond noting the incident.

MYSTIC ROMANCE (Md. Islam) sustained cut injury on left hind fetlock.

6th Race: 121. The Royal Tern Plate - (About) 1200 Metres. Horses rated 15 to 35, 4 years old and over (11 Runners).

TOP SMILES (S. John) reared up as the gates opened.

BLAZING FAITH (G. Sai Vamshi) reared up and fell in the saddling enclosure. Under the circumstances it was permitted to be withdrawn. Trainer Mr. Kishan Thomas was informed that he must produce a Fitness Certificate from the Club’s Veterinary Officer before accepting with it again.

SOUTHERN COMMAND (Ramesh Kumar N) planted and lost many lengths at the start. Trainer Mr. Sharat Kumar was informed that he must not accept with it again until its behaviour improved to the satisfaction of the Stipendiary Stewards in a Mock Race.

Jockey Syed Asgar, the rider of BREAKING AWAY, placed 4th by the Judge objected against Jockey V.R. Jagdeesh, the rider of CELESTIAL STORM, placed 3rd for “passing the 300 Metres CELESTIAL STORM came in sharply whereby I had to stop my riding and switch outside which cost me a certain 3rd place”. The Stewards held an enquiry immediately after the race and interviewed the Jockeys concerned. After deliberations, they decided to overrule the objection.

Jockey S. John, the rider of TOP SMILES, was fined Rs.3,000/- for shifting in and causing interference to CELESTIAL STORM (V.R. Jagadeesh) which in turn went on to BREAKING AWAY (Syed Asgar) causing him to check and fall back passing the 300 Metres

7th Race: 122. The H.B. Gundappa Gowda Memorial Cup – (About) 1400 Metres. Horses rated 45 to 65 (12 Runners).

SPIIRIT AND TRUTH (S. Zervan) jumped awkwardly outwards.

FRESH START (A. Imran Khan) planted and lost many lengths at the start. Trainer Mr. Faraz Arshad was informed that must not accept with it again until its behaviour improved to the satisfaction of the Stipendiary Stewards in a Mock Race.

In a tightly packed field Jockey David Breux, the rider of SHARP WITTED had to check his mount to avoid striking the front runner whereby he shifted out and took out BONFIRE (T.S. Jodha) approaching the 800 Metres. As the incident was accidental no action was taken.

Jockey David Breux, the rider of SHARP WITTED, checked his mount in anticipation of EVERA (Suraj Narredu) coming on to him approaching the 200 Metres.

Routine Sample was taken for analysis from the winner b f TRONADA.

8th Race: 123. The Snow Dew Plate – (About) 1100 Metres. Maiden Horses 3 years old only (Horses who have run at least thrice but not placed second, third or fourth even once ineligible) (Terms) (11 Runners).

Jockey A. Sandesh, the rider of INTER FLORA, was fined Rs.3,000/- for shifting in and causing interference to JAYADRATHA (Vinod Shinde) on his inside approaching the 1000 Metres and for again shifting in and causing interference to DAGOBERT (Janardhan Paswan) on his inside passing the 800 Metres.

An enquiry is being held into the improved performance of SIDE WINDER as compared to its previous run in Race No.97.

An enquiry is being held into the poor performance of RED GALILEO trained by Mr. Nityanand G and ridden by Jockey A Imran Khan.
