1st  Race:     205. The Champion Trainer Cup Div.II - (About) 1200 Metres. Horses rated 15  to 35 (9 Runners).

 

It was observed that GODDESS OF LOVE (M. Ravi) was inclined to run out between the 800 Metres till about the 600 Metres.

 

Routine Sample was taken for analysis from the winner b f RECZAI.                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                       

 

2nd Race:     206. The Leading Tipster Cup – (About) 1200 Metres. Horses rated 00  to 20  (10 Runners).

 

INDIAN FURY (P.S.Chouhan) reared up when the start was affected and lost considerable ground.

 

Jockey A. Ramu, the rider of ROCK N ROLLA, was reprimanded for shifting in and inconveniencing DRACARYS (Vinod Shinde) approaching 1000 Metres.

 

Jockey Arshad Alam, the rider of FLYING PRINCE, was reprimanded for shifting out and inconveniencing ROCK N ROLLA (A. Ramu) approaching 700 Metres.

 

Jockey Prashant P. Dhebe, the rider of RICHIE RICH, was reprimanded for shifting out and inconveniencing ROCK N ROLLA (A. Ramu) passing 800 Metres.

 

Jockey S. John, the rider of IRISH PRINCE, was fined Rs.1,000/- for shifting in and causing interference to ROCK N ROLLA (A. Ramu) passing the 700 Metres.

 

It was reported after the race that DRACARYS (Vinod Shinde) burst its blood vessels (Endoscopy Grade III – at 2.15 p.m.). Trainer Mr. V. Lokanath was informed that he must produce a Fitness Certificate from the Club’s Veterinary Officer before accepting with it again.

 

Routine Sample was taken for analysis from the winner b g IRISH PRINCE.

 

3rd Race:     207. The Leading Bookmaker Cup  -  (About) 1600 Metres. Maiden Horses 3 years old only (Horses who have run atleast thrice but not  placed second, third or fourth even once ineligible) (Terms) (8 Runners).

 

WINSOMENESS (A. Ramu) was extremely fractious in the gates and sat down for a considerable period of time. Under the circumstances it was permitted to be withdrawn before coming under Starter’s orders.

                                                          

TOROROSSO (S. Selvaraj) jumped out awkwardly from the starting gates dislodging its rider and ran riderless thereafter.

 

Jockey S. Zervan, the rider of BUSCADERO, reported that his mount was not galloping fluently as such he stopped riding in the final 200 Metres. The horse was impounded for veterinary examination. On examination, the Club’s Veterinary Officer reported that on 13th August 2016 at 9.50 a.m. it was found to be sore on its back and trotting lame on right hind. Trainer Mr. S.S. Attaollahi was informed that he must produce a Fitness Certificate from the Club’s Veterinary Officer before accepting with it again.

 

INTER FLORA (A. Sandesh) was impounded for veterinary examination, but no abnormality was reported.

 

WINSOMENESS (A. Ramu) sustained cut injury on right fore cannon.  

 

Routine Sample was taken for analysis from the winner b f WATCHMYSCRIPT.

 

4th Race:     208. The Champion Trainer Cup Div.I - (About) 1200 Metres. Horses rated 15  to 35 (7 Runners).

 

Permission was granted to Trainer Mr. Faraz Arshad to withdraw ONE MAN SHOW (K. Raja Rao) on veterinary grounds as it was found to be trotting lame on left hind due sprained stifle. He was informed that he must produce a Fitness Certificate from the Club’s Veterinary Officer before accepting with it again.

 

BENGALURU PRINCESS (Rayan Ahmed R) was slowly away and lost few lengths at the start.  In view of its behaviour, trainer Mr. Mahmood Khan was informed that he must not accept with it again until its behaviour improved to the satisfaction of the Stipendiary Stewards in a jump out on a starting gate practice day.

 

Routine Sample was taken for analysis from the winner ch g INDUSTRIALIST.

 

5th Race:     209. The Champion Jockey Cup Div.I - (About) 1400 Metres. Horses rated 15 to 35, 4  years old and over (12 Runners).

 

HIGH HAWK (Arshad Alam) took a fly jump.

 

Jockey Syed Imran, the rider of MAN OF LAW, was fined Rs.1,000/- for shifting in and causing interference to HIGH HAWK (Arshad Alam) approaching 1200 Metres.

 

Routine Sample was taken for analysis from the winner ch g INDIAN BRAHMOS.

 

6th Race:     210. The Governor’s Cup (Grade III) - (About) 2400 Metres. 4 years old and over (Terms) (6 Runners).

 

Compulsory Samples were taken for analysis from the following I, II & III placed horses viz:

7th Race:   211. The Leading Owner Cup - (About) 1400 Metres Horses rated 30  to 50, 5 years old and over  (12 Runners).

 

LEON (Vivek) was slowly away and lost few lengths at the start.  In view of its behaviour, trainer Mr. Pradeep Annaiah was informed that he must not accept with it again until its behaviour improved to the satisfaction of the Stipendiary Stewards in a jump out on a starting gate practice day.

 

Jockey Chethan Gowda, the rider of TEA WID ME, was reprimanded for travelling wide rounding the final bend for no apparent reason.

 

Jockey Kiran Rai P, the rider of SECRET DIMENSION, reported that his mount was hanging in throughout the race. The horse was impounded for veterinary examination but no abnormality was reported.

 

Routine Sample was taken for analysis from the winner ch g ROYAL DEFENCE.

 

8th Race:  212. The Leading Stud Cup - (About) 2000 Metres. Horses rated 60  and above, (7 Runners).

                                                   

Jockey Prashant P Dhebe, the rider of AMBITIOUS REWARD, was fined Rs.1,000/- for shifting out and taking out ZUCCHERO (P.S.Chouhan) approaching the 400 Metres.

 

Routine Sample was taken for analysis from the winner b g SPIRIT AND TRUTH.

 

9th Race:     213. The Champion Jockey Cup Div.II - (About) 1400 Metres. DAENERYS (Adarsh G) was extremely fractious in the gates and sat down for a considerable period of time. Under the circumstances it was permitted to be withdrawn before coming under Starter’s orders.

 

UNIVERSAL LAW (Deepak Singh G) was slowly away and lost few lengths at the start. In view of its behaviour Trainer Mr. Warren Singh was informed that he must not accept with it again until its behaviour improved to the satisfaction of the Stipendiary Stewards in one jump out on a starting gate practice day.

 

Jockey Ganesh N, the rider of SOUTHERN COMMAND, was reprimanded for travelling wide rounding the final bend till about 200 Metres for no apparent reason.

 

Jockey Neeraj Rawal, the rider of NOBLE FLAIRE, was reprimanded for dropping hands before passing the winning post.

 

Jockey Prashant P Dhebe, the rider of FIRST STEP, was fined Rs.3,000/- for the excessive use of whip on his mount during the race (1st infringement).

 

It was reported after the race that GOLDEN NIMBUST (Vishwanath A) burst its blood vessels. Trainer Mr. Sriram Komandur was informed that he must produce a Fitness Certificate from the Club’s Veterinary Officer before accepting with it again.
