1st  Race:     222. The Parsiana Stakes  Div III - (About) 1400 Metres. Horses rated 15  to 35  (10  Runners).

Jockey V.R. Jagadeesh replaced the indisposed Y.S.Srinath on WEAR THE HAT.

Jockey T.S. Jodha replaced the indisposed A.Imran Khan on BRAVEHEART.

Permission was granted to Trainer Mr.Nityanand G to withdraw FIRE RAINBOW (Arshad Alam) on veterinary grounds as it was found to have reared up and fallen on the ground (Saddling Enclosure) injuring  it’s Quarter and left fore cannon. He was informed that he must produce a Fitness Certificate from the Club's Veterinary Officer before accepting with it again.

The Stipendiary Stewards ordered and held a Stewards enquiry after the race as regards the fall of Jockey S. Lalit the rider of SHE LOVES IT. After deliberations, the Stewards observed that (a) Jockey S.Lalit had come off the saddle before the winning post and therefore (b)  decided to retain the placings as given by the Judges. An enquiry is being held into the incident.

LEGAL LEGACY (S.Mallikarjun) sustained cut injury on right hind fetlock.

NINON (M.NOORNABI) sustained bleeding cut injury on right nostril.

Routine Sample was taken for analysis from the winner ch g RAVELNATION.

2nd Race:     223. The Belmont Park Stakes– (About) 1600 Metres. Horses rated 00  to 20  (12 Runners).

Jockey Prashanth T.M, the rider of RAZIEL was reprimanded for shifting in and inconveniencing KINGS KID (V.R. Jagadeesh) which in turn passed it on to TIC TAC TOE (Arshad Alam) passing 1500 Metres.

Jockey A. Ramu, the rider of THALASSA, reported that he lost his whip passing the 300 Metres.

Jockey Kiran Rai P, the rider of ACTIVE GREY was reprimanded for riding an indifferent race.


It was observed that the left fore shoe of THALASSA had splayed.

Jockey Suraj Narredu replaced the indisposed A.Imran Khan on CAMPFIRE.

Routine Sample was taken for analysis from the winner b g KINGS KID.

3rd Race:     224. The Parsiana Stakes  Div II- (About) 1400 Metres. Horses rated 15  to 35  (10  Runners).

Jockey Neeraj Rawal replaced the indisposed A.Imran Khan on JACK OF HEARTS.

Permission was granted to Trainer Mr. Sharat Kumar to withdraw SHIVALIK GIRL on veterinary grounds as it was found to be trotting lame. He was informed that he must produce a Fitness Certificate from the Club’s Veterinary Officer before accepting with it again. 

Jockey T.S.Jodha, the rider of RAW GOLD, reported that his mount was hanging ‘in’ in the final stages of race. The horse was impounded for veterinary examination. On examination the Club’s Veterinary Officer reported that it was found to have sharp molars on both upper and lower jaw. Hence Trainer Mr. S.Inayathulla was fined Rs.5000/- for his negligence (2nd infringement).

It was reported after the race that HIDDEN DEAL (Raghu K) burst its blood vessels. Trainer Mr. Narayana Gowda V was informed that he must produce a Fitness Certificate from the Club’s Veterinary Officer before accepting with it again.

Routine Sample was taken for analysis from the winner b g RAW GOLD.


4th Race:     225. The Dupont Trophy - (About) 1400 Metres. Maiden Horses 3 years old only (Horses who have run atleast thrice but not  placed second, third or fourth even once ineligible) (Terms) (10 Runners).

Jockey Prashant P Dhebe replaced the indisposed Y.S.Srinath on WAR ENVOY.

Trainer Mr. Samar Singh (deputizing for Trainer Mr. Azhar Ali) was fined Rs.2000/- for not fulfilling the paddock formalities in respect of TAX FREE.

Jockey V.R. Jagadeesh, the rider of CAPE CROSS was reprimanded for shifting in and inconveniencing GRECIAN LIGHT (Neeraj Rawal) at the start.

GLAMOROUS APPROACH (T.S.Jodha) after jumping out swerved towards the right whereby the rider lost his right stirrup and the horse thereafter did not raise a fluent gallop.  In view of its behavior, trainer Mr.S.Dominic was informed that he must not accept with it again until its behaviour improved to the satisfaction of the Stipendiary Stewards in a Mock Race.

It was reported after the race that GRECIAN LIGHT (Neeraj Rawal) burst its blood vessels (Endoscopy – Grade III at 6.35 pm). Trainer Mr. Irfan Ghatala was informed that he must produce a Fitness Certificate from the Club’s Veterinary Officer before accepting with it again. 

Routine Sample was taken for analysis from the winner ch f TALLADEGA.

5th Race:     226. The Usha Stud Stakes - (About) 1200 Metres. Horses rated 45 to 65, 4  years old and over (12 Runners).
Jockey T.S.Jodha replaced the indisposed A. Imran Khan on FRESH START.

Jockey V.R.Jagadeesh replaced the indisposed Y.S.Srinath on JERSEY SHORE.

LIFE AWAITS (P.S.Chouhan) jumped awkwardly outwards and inconvenienced SUPER SUCCESS (Suraj Narredu) at the start.

FRESH START (T.S.Jodha) was slowly away and lost few lengths. In view of its behaviour, Trainer Mr. Hidayat Khan (deputizing for Mr. Faraz  Arshad ) was informed that he must not accept with it again until its behaviour improved to the satisfaction of the Stipendiary Stewards in a jump out on a starting gate practice day.

Routine Sample was taken for analysis from the winner b g LIFE AWAITS.

6h Race:     227. The Independence Trophy – (About) 1400 Metres. Horses rated 75 and above (10 Runners).

SPEED HAWK (Arshad Alam) accidentally brushed the false rails passing the 800 Metres.

BRILLIANT CUT (Ahsan Qureshi) accidentally stumbled approaching 700 Metres.

Routine Sample was taken for analysis from the winner b f SEA FAIREY.

7h Race:     228. The Beautiful Babe Stakes –(About) 1200 Metres. Horses rated 30 to 50  (10 Runners).

Jockey Suraj Narredu replaced the indisposed A.Imran Khan on JUSTICE ANGEL.

Routine Sample was taken for analysis from the winner dk b f ANTANANARIVO.

8th Race:  229. The Parsiana Stakes  Div I – (About) 1400 Metres. Horses rated 15 to 35 (9  Runners).
                                                    
Jockey V.R.Jagadeesh replaced the indisposed Y.S.Srinath on NOBLE SAPPHIRE.

IRISH PRINCE (Prashant P Dhebe) was extremely fractious and refused to remain in the stalls.  Under the circumstances it was permitted to be withdrawn before coming under Starter's order.

Permission was granted to Trainer Mr.S Inayathulla to withdraw GOLDEN SUCCESS on veterinary grounds as it was found to be trotting lame on left fore due to inflamed tendon. He was informed that he must produce a Fitness Certificate from the Club’s Veterinary Officer before accepting with it again. 

Jockey S.John, the rider of TREE LOUNGE, reported that he lost his whip approaching 1300 Metres.

Jockey Neeraj Rawal, the rider of TROJAN, reported that his mount stopped galloping in the final 100 Metres. The horse was impounded for veterinary examination but no abnormalities except for bleeding cut injury on right hock was reported.

Routine Sample was taken for analysis from the winner b h NOBLE SAPPHIRE.

9h Race:  230. The Good-Bye Stakes – (About) 1200 Metres. Horses rated 15 to 35, 4 years old and over (11 Runners).

Jockey Neeraj Rawal replaced the indisposed Y.S.Srinath on FEET ON FIRE.

Permission was granted to Trainer Mr. Faraz Arshad to withdraw CUSTOM BUILT (K. Raja Rao) on veterinary grounds as it was found to be trotting lame on left hind due to inflamed hoof.  He was informed that he must produce a Fitness Certificate from the Club’s Veterinary Officer before accepting with it again. 

Jockey S.John, the rider of GALWAY GIRL was fined Rs.1000/- for misplacing the declared colours after it was duly handed over by the Trainer. Subsequently ‘All Black’ emergency colours were permitted to be used.
GALWAY GIRL (S.John) planted and lost many lengths at the start. In view of its behaviour, Trainer Mr. V.Lokanath was informed that he must not accept with it again until its behaviour improved to the satisfaction of the Stipendiary Stewards in a Mock Race.
It was observed that DIGNIFIED (Manesh K) pulled up lame on right fore passing the 900 Metres. Trainer Mr.Rajesh Narredu was informed that he must produce a Fitness Certificate from the Club's Veterinary Officer before accepting with it again.

Jockey Arshad Alam, the rider of NEYMAR was reprimanded for dropping hands before passing the winning post.

Routine Sample was taken for analysis from the winner b g RAMON.

7th Race:   211. The Leading Owner Cup - (About) 1400 Metres Horses rated 30  to 50, 5 years old and over  (12 Runners).

It was reported after the race that ADRIPHOS (Prashant P Dhebe) burst its blood vessels. Trainer Mr. Sriram Komandur was informed that he must produce a Fitness Certificate from the Club’s Veterinary Officer before accepting with it again.

6th Race:     179. The Track Lightning Trophy - (About) 1100 Metres. Maiden Horses 3 years old only (Horses who have run at least thrice but not placed second, third or fourth even once ineligible) (Terms) (10 Runners).


Enquiry into the interference in the above race at about 1000 Metres to SAGA (S.John).

In the above said enquiry the following Jockeys were questioned: 
(a)	Jockey P.S.Chouhan (COUNTRY’S BLOOM) 
(b)	Jockey S. Selvaraj (SPONGE BOB)
(c)	   	Jockey Ashok Kumar (STAY TRUE) and after considering the statements of the concerned  Jockeys and after having viewed the CCTV replay in all angles it was decided to consider the interference as accidental and no further action was there by initiated against any Jockey.
