Penetrometer Reading: 3.4 Cms
Railing position: Railing fixed at average width of 8 Metres from 1600 Metres to the winning post from its original position.
1st Race: 182. The Azhar Plate - (About) 1600 Metres. Horses rated 00 to 20 (10 Runners).
GALINO (T.S. Jodha) was slowly away and lost few lengths at the start. In view of its behaviour trainer Mr. S. Dominic was informed that he must not accept with it again until its behaviour improved to the satisfaction of the Stipendiary Stewards in a jump out on a starting gate practice day.
DEEPALIKA (Nazerul Alam) was slowly away and lost few lengths at the start. In view of its behaviour trainer Mr. B. Puttanna was informed that he must not accept with it again until its behaviour improved to the satisfaction of the Stipendiary Stewards in a jump out on a starting gate practice day.
It was reported after the race that RE LIVE (Prashanth P.Dhebe) pulled up lame approaching the 200 Metres. On immediate examination by the Club’s veterinary officer it was found to have pulled up lame on right fore due to fracture of fetlock joint. The filly was however euthanized on humanitarian grounds on 4th August 2016 at 7.30 p.m.
It was reported after the race that BABOOSH (S. Selvaraj) burst its blood vessels. Trainer Mr. Faraz Arshad was informed that he must produce a Fitness Certificate from the Club’s Veterinary Officer before accepting with it again.
An enquiry is being held into the running and riding of DEEPALIKA trained by Mr. B. Puttanna and ridden by jockey Nazerul Alam.
Routine Sample was taken for analysis from the winner b g IRISH PRINCE.
2nd Race: 183. The Commanche Trophy - (About) 1400 Metres. Maiden Horses 3 years old only (Horses who have run at least thrice but not placed second, third or fourth even once ineligible) (Terms) (8 Runners).
Permission was granted to Trainer Mr. Karthik G to withdraw KINGS BARON on veterinary grounds as it was found to be trotting lame on right fore due to injury on fetlock joint. He was informed that he must produce a Fitness Certificate from the Club’s Veterinary Officer before accepting with it again.
CAPE CROSS (V.R. Jagadeesh) jumped awkwardly inwards and inconvenienced GLAMOROUS APPROACH (T.S. Jodha) which in turn passed it on to TALLADEGA (S. John) soon after the start.
Routine Sample was taken for analysis from the winner b f SHAN BEN AARI.
3rd Race: 184. The Tippu Sultan Cup Div I – (About) 1400 Metres. Horses rated 60 and above (12 Runners).
INVINCIBLE PRINCE (Md Akram) planted and lost many lengths at the start. In view of its behaviour trainer Mr. S. Padmanadhan was informed that he must not accept with it again until its behaviour improved to the satisfaction of the Stipendiary Stewards in a Mock Race.
Jockey David Breux, the rider of DAZZLING BAY was fined Rs.2000/- for shifting in and causing interference to SPEED HAWK (Rayan Ahmed R) which in turn passed it on to KING JULIEN (Vinod Shinde) thereby inconveniencing EMPEROR CRUISE (T.S. Jodha) before passing the red marker post.
Jockey David Breux, the rider of DAZZLING BAY was fined Rs.1000/- for shifting in and causing interference to RUSSIAN LINK (A. Imran Khan) and COLDSTREAM (S. John) which was traveling directly behind which had to be checked by its rider and shift out passing the 1300 Metres.
Jockey S. John, the rider of COLDSTREAM reported that he lost his whip approaching the 100 Metres.
Jockey A. Imran Khan, the rider of RUSSIAN LINK, reported that his mount was not galloping fluently throughout the race. The horse was impounded for veterinary examination but no abnormality was reported.
Surprise Sample was taken for analysis from b g RUSSIAN LINK.
Routine Sample was taken for analysis from the winner ch h COLDSTREAM.
4th Race: 185. The Bangalore Summer Million (Grade III) - (About) 1600 Metres. 3 years old Horses (Foaled in 2013) (Terms) (6 Runners).
IRON WILL (Neeraj Rawal) sustained cut injury on right hock.
CATALEYA (Suraj Narredu) was impounded for veterinary examination but no abnormality was reported.
Compulsory Samples were taken for analysis from the following I,II,III placed horses viz:

Trainer Mr. M. Eshwer was fined Rs.2,000/- for delayed scratching with respect to his charge GUSTY WIND in the above race.
5th Race: 186. The Yeravada Stud Plate - (About) 1400 Metres. Horses rated 30 to 50, 4 years old and over (11 Runners).
LIEGE LORD (A. Sandesh) was extremely fractious and refused to be stalled. Under the circumstances it was permitted to be withdrawn before coming under Starter’s orders.
J GATSBY (G.Y. Rajesh Babu) jumped awkwardly outwards and inconvenienced HELIOS (Kiran Rai P) at the start.
Jockey Y.S. Srinath, the rider of VICIOUS CIRCLE, was reprimanded for shifting in and inconveniencing SILVER LEGEND (S. John) which in turn took the ground of CANNES (Prashant P. Dhebe) soon after jumping out.
Jockey P. Surya, the rider of RAPID ADVANCE, was reprimanded for shifting out and inconveniencing CANNES (Prashant P. Dhebe) soon after jumping out.
Jockey Y.S. Srinath, the rider of VICIOUS CIRCLE, was reprimanded for shifting in and inconveniencing RAPID ADVANCE (Surya P) which in turn passed it on to FIRING LINE (Rayan Ahmed R) approaching the 200 Metres.
Routine Sample was taken for analysis from the winner b g I’VE GOT CLOUT.
6th Race: 187. The Galilee Plate - (About) 1200 Metres. Horses rated 15 to 35 (10 Runners).
Jockey Vivek, the rider of CELESTIAL STORM, was reprimanded for shifting out and taking out KAPALUA (S. John) which in turn inconvenienced CHICAGO (N. Ramesh Kumar) approaching the 800 Metres.
Jockey Ramesh Kumar N, the rider of CHICAGO, was reprimanded for riding an indifferent race.
CELESTIAL STORM (Vivek) sustained cut injury on right gaskin.
COOL SPRINGS (Raghu K) sustained cut injury on right hock.
Routine Sample was taken for analysis from the winner b g ATLANTIS.
7th Race: 188. The Tippu Sultan Cup Div II – (About) 1400 Metres. Horses rated 60 and above (11 Runners).
SUPREME DOMINATOR (Kiran Naidu) ran detached from the field till about 200 Metres.
It was reported after the last race that BE INSPIRED (Ahsan Qureshi) pulled up lame on left fore. Trainer Mr. Irfan Ghatala was informed that he must produce a Fitness Certificate from the Club’s Veterinary Officer before accepting with it again.
