Penetrometer Reading: 4.3 Cms
False Rails: Railing fixed at average width of 5 Meters from 1600 Meters to winning post from its original position.
1st Race: 53. The Guindy Plate - Div. II - (About) 1400 meters. Horses rated 00 to 20, 4 years old and over (14 Runners).
It was observed that INCITATUS (A. Ramu) swerved towards the left and lost many lengths soon after the start. In view of its behaviour, Trainer Mr. Neil B Devaney was informed that he must not accept with it again until its behaviour improved to the satisfaction of the Stipendiary Stewards in at least one Mock Race.
Jockey Suraj Narredu, the rider of BELLEROPHON was fined Rs.1,000/- for coming in and causing interference to CRIQUETTE (Irvan Singh) which in turn passed it onto FIOROLOCO (J. Chinoy) on its inside, soon after the start.
Jockey Prashant P.Dhebe, the rider of MAGNIFICENT MARY was reprimanded for shifting out and inconveniencing THALASSA (P. Trevor) on his outside passing the 700 Meters.
Jockey A.Ramu, the rider of INCITATUS reported that he accidentally lost his whip passing the 300 Meters.
Jockey Rayan Ahmed R., the rider of TIC TAC TOE was fined Rs.2,000/- for the negligence in not wearing goggles during the race.
Jockey Kuldeep Singh, the rider of SPECTRE reported that his mount stopped galloping in the final 150 Meters of the race. The horse was impounded for veterinary examination but no abnormality was reported.
Routine Sample was taken for analysis from the winner b g CAPTAIN CALM.
2nd Race: 54. The Beautiful Babe Plate - Div. II - (About) 1400 meters. Maiden Horses 3 years old only (Horses who have run at least thrice but not placed second, third or fourth even once ineligible). (14 Runners).
It was observed that GOSHAWK (A. Sandesh) was lugging in between the 350 Meters and 250 Meters, thereafter ROMANTIC STAR (P. Trevor) shifted in and GOSHAWK (A. Sandesh) shied away towards the inside, when Jockey P. Trevor struck his mount with the whip, thereby causing interference to the horses on its inside viz; HABANERO (P. S. Chouhan), TREASURE QUEST (S. John) and AUTOMATIC (Neeraj Rawal). After repeatedly viewing the CCTV replay of the race. Jockey P. Trevor the rider of ROMANTIC STAR was fined Rs. 5,000/- for changing course.
The Stewards ordered and held an enquiry into the above incident they examined Jockeys P. Trevor, A. Sandesh, P.S. Chouhan, S. John and Neeraj Rawal on 11th June 2017 after the last race. After repeatedly viewing the CCTV replay of different angle and due deliberations the Stewards decided to concur with the decision of the Stipendiary Stewards and severely cautioned Jockey P. Trevor as to the future riding on his charges that if a repetition of similar manner of riding would entail him for severe disciplinary action in future.
AAFRIKAAN (R. Manjunath) sustained injury on left hind cannon.
GOSHAWK (A. Sandesh) was impounded for veterinary examination but no abnormality was reported.

3rd Race: 55. The Skyline Plate - (About) 1600 meters. Horses rated 15 to 35 (14 Runners).
Jockey A. Ashhad Asbar, the rider of HARTNELL was fined Rs.2,000/- for shifting out and causing interference to SUN BLAZER (P. S. Chouhan) on his outside soon after the start.
STAR LORD (Kiran Naidu) ran detached from the field. Trainer Mr. S. Narredu was informed to ensure better performance of his charge in future.
Jockey Manish R, the rider of VASUKI was reprimanded for allowing his mount to drift out rounding the final bend for no apparent reason.
It was observed that NINON (Suraj Narredu) lugged out passing the 200 Meters. The horse was impounded for veterinary examination but no abnormality was reported.
HIDDEN DEAL (Chetan Kalay S.) sustained superficial injury on left fore pastern.
Routine Sample was taken for analysis from the winner b g HARTNELL.
4th Race: 56. The Guindy Plate - Div. I - (About) 1400 meters. Horses rated 00 to 20, 4 years old and over (14 Runners).
REGAL MUSIC (B. Nayak) jumped out awkwardly from the starting gates.
Jockey Akshay Kumar (Hyd), the rider of WONDER WOMAN reported that his mount was hanging out from the 900 Meters. Trainer Mr. S. Ganapathy was informed to take appropriate corrective measures before accepting with it again.
It was observed that Prashant P.Dhebe (GOLDEN NIMBUS) collapsed passing 300 Meters. On immediate examination, it was reported to have suffered from cardiac arrest and died instantly.
It was reported after the race that FIRE RAINBOW (Chetan Kalay S.) burst its blood vessels. Trainer Mr. Narayana Gowda V. was informed that he must produce a Fitness Certificate from the Club's Veterinary Officer before accepting with it again.
Routine Sample was taken for analysis from the winner b f FIRE RAINBOW.
5th Race: 57. The D.Kumar Siddanna Memorial Cup - (About) 1200 meters. Horses rated 45 to 65 (14 Runners).
MICHAELA (P. S. Chouhan) was slowly away and lost many lengths at the start. In view of its behaviour, Trainer Mr. S.S. Attaollahi was informed that he must not accept with it again until its behaviour improved to the satisfaction of the Stipendiary Stewards in at least one Mock Race.
Trainer Mr. Sandhu G and Jockey P. Trevor were questioned regarding the running of ARVAK in the above race. Jockey stated that the horse did not show initial speed and that it needed distance. The trainer corroborated with the statement of Jockey P. Trevor and added that it had run in a similar manner, in its previous outing. The explanations were noted for future reference.
Surprise sample was taken for analysis from b f LADY IN LACE.
Routine Sample was taken for analysis from the winner b g KRIEGER.
6th Race: 58. The Own Opinion Cup - (About) 1200 meters. Horses rated 60 and above (11 Runners).
SUMMER DAWN (M. Kumar) jumped awkwardly outwards from the starting gates.
SIR MAJESTIC (M. Ayyar) was galloping fiercely between the 1000 Meters and 800 Meters as such, the rider had to repeatedly check his mount and shift out.
Jockey Neeraj Rawal, the rider of SUPER SUCCESS reported that he could not get a clear run between the 500 Meters till about 400 Meters, due to closely packed field.
Jockey Irvan Singh, the rider of TAQDEER KA BADSHAH reported that his mount was hanging in throughout the race. The horse was impounded for veterinary examination but no abnormality was reported.
Routine Sample was taken for analysis from the winner b f SIOBHAN.
7th Race: 59. The Mauritius Pearl Plate - (About) 1400 meters. Horses rated 15 to 35 (12 Runners).
Trainer Mr. Pradeep Annaiah was fined Rs.10,000/- for Contravention of General Condition 5 of the Prospectus of Bangalore Summer Meeting 2017 in accepting CROZIET in the above race and also on 11th June 2017 in The Prabalo Plate - (About) 1200 Meters, Horses rated 15 to 35. Subsequently CROZIET was not declared to start in the above race.
ANTIQUARIAN (Kiran Naidu) reared up, dropped the rider and bolted, anti clock wise on the inner sand track. The horse was examined by the Club’s Veterinary Officer at the starting gates and was found to be exhausted. Under the circumstances, it was permitted to be withdrawn on veterinary grounds before coming under Starter's order.
LEOPOLDO (Harish B.) planted, lost many lengths at the start, did not raise a fluent gallop and ran detached thereafter. In view of its behaviour, Trainer Mr. S.S. Attallohi (deputizing for Trainer Mr. Nityanand G.) was informed that he must not accept with it again until its behaviour improved to the satisfaction of the Stipendiary Stewards in at least one Mock Race.
Jockey Adarsh G., the rider of PRIZE FINDER was reprimanded for riding an indifferent race.
Jockey Anjar Alam, the rider of FIORENZO was reprimanded for riding an indifferent race.
Jockey S.K.Paswan, the rider of ADMIRAL HATSU was reprimanded for dropping hands before passing the winning post.

8th Race: 60. The Sir Charles Todhunter Memorial Cup - (About) 1200 meters. Horses rated 30 to 50, 4 years old and over (13 Runners).
Permission was granted to Trainer Mr. Imtiaz Khan to withdraw JUSTICE ANGEL (A. Ashhad Asbar) on veterinary grounds as it was found to be injured on forehead and right hind cannon. He was informed that he must produce a Fitness Certificate from the Club's Veterinary Officer before accepting with it again.
Jockey S. John, the rider of ALAINA was reprimanded for coming in and inconveniencing CAPITALIZE (Adarsh G.) on his inside passing the 800 Meters.
Jockey P. Trevor, the rider of ZAFRAN was fined Rs.10,000/- for shifting out and causing severe interference to BIRCHWOOD (Manish R) on his outside, which in turn passed it onto PERFECT LEGACY (Ramesh Kumar N) passing the 300 Meters.
Jockey S.A. Amit, the rider of ROMANTIC HELEN was fined Rs.2,000/- for coming in and causing interference to SAGA (Mudassar Nazar) on his inside, passing the 250 Meters.
SAGA (Mudassar Nazar) sustained gum injury.
BIRCHWOOD (Manish R) was impounded for veterinary examination but no abnormality was reported.

SEVEN ELEVEN (D'nuSingh Deora) was slowly away and lost few lengths at the start. In view of its behaviour, Trainer Mr. Anupam Sharma was informed that he must not accept with it again until its behaviour improved to the satisfaction of the Stipendiary Stewards in a jump out on a starting gate practice day.
HOPE IS ETERNAL (Neeraj Rawal) jumped awkwardly outwards, thereby inconveniencing ALIGHTING (V.R.Jagadeesh) on its outside at the start.
AMAETHON (R Manjunath) ran detached from the field. The horse was impounded for veterinary examination but no abnormality was reported. However, Trainer Mr. Sandhu. G was informed to ensure better performance of his charge in future.
