RACING INCIDENTS

Penetrometer Reading: 3.5 Cms

False Rails: Railing fixed at average width of 7 Meters from 1600 Meters to winning post from its original position.

1^st Race: 101. The Iflookscouldkill Plate - (About) 1600 meters. Horses rated 00 to 20 (8 Runners).

Permission was granted to trainer Mr. Sharat Kumar to withdraw MISS WONDER on veterinary grounds as it was found to have sustained injury on right hind fetlock and also burst its blood vessels. He was informed that he must produce a fitness certificate from the Club’s Veterinary Officer before accepting with it again.

SIMPLE SUM (Rayan Ahmed R.) was slowly away and lost few lengths at the start. In view of its behaviour, Trainer Mr.V. Loknath was informed that he must not accept with it again until its behaviour improved to the satisfaction of the Stipendiary Stewards in a jump out on a starting gate practice day.

Jockey Suraj Narredu, the rider of EXTREMELYDANGEROUS reported that his mount was hanging 'in' after entering the straight. The horse was impounded for veterinary examination but no abnormality was reported. However, Trainer Mr. Warren Singh was informed to take appropriate corrective measures before accepting with it again.

Trainer Mr. Mahmood Khan was questioned regarding the improved performance of his charge MAGNIFICENT MARY (Prashant P.Dhebe) in the above race.

The Trainer stated that:

(a) His charge did not get a clear run between the 350 Meters till about 200 Meters in its previous start, otherwise it would have performed better that day itself;

(b) He had given a 3 weeks gap before he ran his charge in the above race;

(d) He added on this occasion his charge was running in 1600 Meters race.

(e) He had fancied it to run in place but it came out and won the race marginally.

His explanations was noted.

WONDER WOMAN (Sunil Samson) sustained superficial injury on right fore cannon.

Routine Sample was taken for analysis from the winner b m MAGNIFICENT MARY.

2^nd Race: 102. The Ich Dien Plate - (About) 1800 meters. Horses rated 15 to 35 (7 Runners).

Permission was granted to Trainer Mr. Pradeep Annaiah to withdraw DANCING PRINCESS (P. S. Chouhan) on veterinary grounds as it was found to be lame on right fore due to inflammed right elbow. He was informed that he must produce a Fitness Certificate from the Club's Veterinary Officer before accepting with it again.

Jockey Akshay Kumar, the rider of FLIRTING EYES was reprimanded for looking back during the closing stages of the race.

Jockey Vishal N Bunde, the rider of MIDNIGHT SKY was reprimanded for not maintaining a straight course in the closing stages of the race.

Routine Sample was taken for analysis from the winner b f FLIRTING EYES.

3^rd Race: 103. The R. S. Nagendra Kumar Memorial Trophy - (About) 1200 meters. Horses rated 30 to 50, 4 years old and over (13 Runners).

Permission was granted to Trainer Mr. Samar Singh to withdraw QUEENOFGOODTIMES (S.A. Amit) from the above race (Owner B.M.C BAN).

BIRCHWOOD (B. Nayak) reared up as soon as gates opened, thereby totally unbalancing the rider and lost many lengths. In view of its behaviour, Trainer Mr. Neil B Devaney was informed that he must not accept with it again until its behaviour improved to the satisfaction of the Stipendiary Stewards in at least one Mock Race.

Jockey A. Ramu, the rider of IRON MAN reported that his saddle shifted back soon after the start, as such he could not offer full assistance to his mount. After due examination of the equipment, Trainer Mr. Sandhu G. was fined Rs.3,000/- for faulty saddling of his charge.

Jockey A. Imran Khan, the rider of JUSTICE ANGEL was fined Rs.2,000/- for shifting in and causing interference to ARECA CRUISE (P. Trevor) on his inside soon after the start and again for shifting in and causing interference to HAVELOCK PRINCESS (Rayan Ahmed R.) on his inside, which in turn passed it onto PERFECT LEGACY (Ramesh Kumar N) approaching 1000 Meters.

Jockey P. Trevor, the rider of ARECA CRUISE reported that his mount was not galloping fluently in the straight. The horse was impounded for veterinary examination but no abnormality was reported.

Jockey A.R.Pradeep, the rider of LEON was reprimanded for riding an indifferent race.

SOVIET UNION (Kiran Rai P) sustained superficial injury on right hind fetlock.

IRON MAN (A. Ramu) sustained superficial injury on left hind gaskin.

BIRCHWOOD (B. Nayak) was impounded for veterinary examination but no abnormality was reported.

Routine Sample was taken for analysis from the winner b f JUSTICE ANGEL.

4^th Race: 104. The Juvenile Sprinters' Million (Grade III) - (About) 1200 meters. 3-year-old Horses (Foaled in 2014) (7 Runners).

An enquiry is being held into the interference caused by Jockey Suraj Narredu, the rider of ANACAPRI in that, he shifted in and caused interference to STREAK AHEAD (P. Trevor) on his inside, which went onto horses on its inside viz; LA ROMANCE (D'nuSingh Deora), KVASIR (A.Ramu) and MAJESTICAL (Akshay Kumar), as such MAJESTICAL (Akshay Kumar) collided with the railings, passing the 1100 Meters.

ANACAPRI (Suraj Narredu) sustained superficial injury on right hind pastern.

It was reported after the race that MAJESTICAL (Akshay Kumar) burst its blood vessels. Trainer Mr. Karthik G. was informed that he must produce a Fitness Certificate from the Club's Veterinary Officer before accepting with it again.

Compulsory samples were taken for analysis from the following I,II & III placed horses viz:

5^th Race: 105. The Chaitanya Chakram Trophy - (About) 1600 meters. Horses rated 60 and above (7 Runners).

SPIRIT AND TRUTH (V.R.Jagadeesh) slowly away and lost many lengths at the start, thereafter ran detached from the field till the last 300 Meters. In view of its behaviour, Trainer Mr.Neil Darashah was informed that he must not accept with it again until its behaviour improved to the satisfaction of the Stipendiary Stewards in at least one Mock Race.

Jockey Manish R, the rider of PEARL REWARD was reprimanded for shifting 'in' and inconveniencing ROYAL SCEPTRE (A. Sandesh) on his inside passing the 1000 Meters.

Routine Sample was taken for analysis from the winner ch r SALAZAAR.

6^th Race: 106. The Bhishma Plate - (About) 1400 meters. Horses rated 15 to 35, 4 years old and over (14 Runners).

FIND (S. John) was slowly away and lost few lengths at the start. In view of its behaviour, Trainer Mr. Arjun Mangalorkar was informed that he must not accept with it again until its behaviour improved to the satisfaction of the Stipendiary Stewards in a jump out on a starting gate practice day.

It was observed that FIND (S. John) could not get a clear run between the 900 Meters and 500 Meters due to tightly packed field.

Jockey J. Chinoy, the rider of CHLOE was fined Rs.3,000/- for shifting out and taking out the horses on its outside viz; ATTRACTIVE BAY (Raghu K), FIRING LINE (S.A. Amit) and MODIFICATION (Anil Bandal) passing the 900 Meters.

GOLDEN SUCCESS (V.R.Jagadeesh) sustained superficial injury on left hind cannon.

Routine Sample was taken for analysis from the winner b f HIGH ADMIRAL.

7^th Race: 107. The Red Divine Plate - (About) 1200 meters. Maiden Horses 3 years old only (Horses who have run at least thrice but not placed second, third or fourth even once ineligible) (13 Runners).

PRINCESS RUMELA (Ranjeeth Singh) was extremely fractious and refused to be stalled. Under the circumstances, it was permitted to be withdrawn before coming under starter’s order.

Jockey D’nuSingh Deroa, the rider of ASHWA BAHULA was fined Rs.5,000/- for coming in and cutting across the field before passing the red marker post, whereby SUZETTE (P.S. Chouhan) and ROSEBROOK (Bhawani Singh) were inconvenienced.

An enquiry was held into the relatively improved performance of ASHWA BAHULA (Dhanusingh Deora), trained by Anupam Sharma in the above race as compared to its previous run in Race No.62, The Speakers Trophy, about 1200 Meters, Maiden Horses 3 years old only (Horses who have run at least thrice but not placed second, third or fourth even once ineligible) run on 11th June 2017. After repeatedly viewing the CCTV replay of the races in question and considering the submissions made by the trainer Mr. Anupam Sharma was fined Rs.10,000/- for the relatively inconsistent performance of ASHWA BAHULA as compared to its previous run.

CHESTERFIELD (S. Sreekanth) was impounded for veterinary examination but no abnormality was reported.

PRINCESS PRIDE (Harish. B) sustained superficial injury on right hind fetlock.

Routine Sample was taken for analysis from the winner b f ASHWA BAHULA.
