Penetrometer Reading:    3.4 Cms.

 

False Rails: Railing fixed at average width of 6 Meters from 1600 Meters to winning post from its original position.

 

1st Race:  176. The Adrian Plate - (About) 1600 meters. Horses rated 15 to 35, 4 years old and over  (10 Runners).

Permission was granted to Trainer Mr. Neil B Devaney to withdraw INTREPID WARRIOR (D'nuSingh Deora) on veterinary grounds as it was found to have an inflamed hoof. He was informed that he must produce a Fitness Certificate from the Club's Veterinary Officer before accepting with it again.

Jockey Irvan Singh replaced the indisposed Jockey Anjar Alam on FIORENZO.

Jockey M. Prabhakaran, the rider of MIDNIGHT SKY was fined Rs.2,000/- for coming in and causing interference to WINGS OF FORTUNE (Kiran Rai .P)  on his inside passing the 1400 Meters.

Jockey M. Prabhakaran, the rider of MIDNIGHT SKY was reprimanded for shifting out and inconveniencing INDIAN LEGEND (Rayan Ahmed R.) on his outside passing the 700 Meters.

Jockey Vinod Shinde, the rider of BUCKPASSER JUNIOR was fined Rs.2,000/- for loss of whip passing the 350 Meters. (2nd infringement).

Jockey Irvan Singh, the rider of FIORENZO was fined Rs.2,000/- for loss of whip passing the 100 Meters. (2nd infringement).

FREESTYLE (Neeraj Rawal) sustained superficial injury on right fore cannon.

Routine Sample was taken for analysis from the winner b g FIORENZO.

2nd Race:  177. The V. Venugopal Naidu Memorial Trophy - (About) 1200 meters. Maiden Horses 3 years old only (Horses who have run at least thrice but not placed second, third or fourth even once ineligible) (12 Runners).

SHINING STAR (Vishwanath A.) reared up as the gates opened and lost few lengths at the start. In view of its behaviour, Trainer Mr. Mahmood Khan was informed that he must not accept with it again until its behaviour improved to the satisfaction of the Stipendiary Stewards in a jump out on a starting gate practice day.

SOUTH BELL (Naveen .M) was slowly away and lost few lengths at the start. In view of its behaviour, Trainer Mr. Sharat Kumar was informed that he must not accept with it again until its behaviour improved to the satisfaction of the Stipendiary Stewards in a jump out on a starting gate practice day.

RHAPSODYEIN QUEEN (Jan'dhan Paswan) was slowly away and lost few lengths at the start. In view of its behaviour, Trainer Mr. Sharat Kumar was informed that he must not accept with it again until its behaviour improved to the satisfaction of the Stipendiary Stewards in a jump out on a starting gate practice day.

Jockey Ryan Marshall, the rider of HUNTERS MOON was reprimanded for shifting out and inconveniencing HIGHLAND WIND (P. Trevor) on his outside passing the 850 Meters.

Jockey P. Trevor, the rider of HIGHLAND WIND reported that his mount was hanging 'in' throughout the race. The horse was impounded for veterinary examination. On examination by the Club's Veterinary Officer it was found to have sustained superficial gum injury.

Routine Sample was taken for analysis from the winner ch f DONNA ROSSA.

3rd Race:  178. The Lt. Col. Gaunt Memorial Cup - (About) 1200 meters. Horses rated 30 to 50 (11 Runners).

DONT TRUST ANYONE (Kiran Rai P) jumped out awkwardly. 

Jockey A. Ramu, the rider of BIRCHWOOD was reprimanded for dropping hands before passing the winning post.

LOUISIANA (Prashant P. Dhebe) was impounded for veterinary examination but no abnormality was reported.

Routine Sample was taken for analysis from the winner dk b c FAIR WARNING.

4th Race:  179. The Karnataka Mile Championship Cup (Grade II) - (About) 1600 meters. 4 years old and over (5 Runners).

Compulsory samples were taken for analysis from the following I, II & III placed horses viz:

5th Race:  180. The K. N. Chennabasappa Memorial Cup - (About) 1200 meters. Horses rated 45 to 65 (12 Runners).

Jockey Ramesh Kumar. N replaced the indisposed Jockey Afsar Khan on SUMMER DAWN.

SUMMER DAWN (Ramesh Kumar N) after jumping out threw its head up in the air and lost many lengths. In view of its behaviour, Trainer Mr. Sharat Kumar was informed that he must not accept with it again until its behaviour improved to the satisfaction of the Stipendiary Stewards in at least one Mock Race.

Jockey A. Sandesh, the rider of FABULOUS TOUCH was fined Rs.2,000/- for coming in and causing interference to ACE BADRAAN (Nazerul Alam)  on his inside passing the 800 Meters.

It was observed that TOP STRIKER (Vishwanath A.) had to be steadied passing the 700 Meters.

Jockey Vinod Shinde, the rider of SPLENDID SPLASHER was reprimanded for shifting out and taking out QUEEN’S CREDIBLE (Neeraj Rawal) on his outside passing the 700 Meters.

Jockey A. Sandesh, the rider of FABULOUS TOUCH reported that his mount was hanging ‘in’ after entering the straight. Trainer Mr. S. Ganapathy was informed to take appropriate corrective measures before accepting with it again.

ZAFRAN (P. Trevor) sustained superficial injury on right hind cannon.

MARIKO (Darshan R.N) sustained superficial injury on right hock.

Routine Sample was taken for analysis from the winner b f PEARL CITY.

6th Race:  181. The Treasure Girl Plate - (About) 1400 meters. Horses rated 15 to 35, 5 years old and over (12 Runners).     

At the behest of the Stipendiary Stewards, the Stewards held an enquiry into the start of the above race with particular reference to the start affected in respect of ARZIKI (V.R. Jagadeesh-drawn 8). They examined the starter and Jockey V.R. Jagadeesh. After considering the submission made by them, viewing the CCTV replay of the start from different angles an also acting on their  own observation of the start of the race, the Stewards concluded that ARZIKI (V.R. Jagadeesh - drawn 8) who was not ready when the start was affected resulting in the horse jumping out rider less. After due deliberations, the Stewards of BTC by virtue of the powers conferred under the BTC Rules of Racing decided to declare ARZIKI as a non-starter in the above race.

Jockey D'nuSingh Deora, the rider of INDIAN BRAHMOS was fined Rs.2,000/- for shifting out under the persistent use of whip and taking out CROZIET (A.R. Pradeep) on his outside from 200 Meters  till passing the winning post.

It was observed that WHITE SNOWDROPS (Irvan Singh) pulled up lame on right hind during the race. Trainer Mr. Samar Singh was informed to produce a Fitness Certificate from the Club’s Veterinary Officer before accepting with it again.

EXTREMELYDANGEROUS (Prashant P. Dhebe) was impounded for veterinary examination but no abnormality was reported.

Routine Sample was taken for analysis from the winner b g STANLEY.

7th Race:   182. The Sha Tin Plate - (About) 1200 meters. Horses rated 00 to 20, 4 years old and over . (12 Runners).

ESPRESSO (Prashant P. Dhebe) was slowly away and lost few lengths at the start. In view of its behaviour, Trainer Mr. Neil Darashah was informed that he must not accept with it again until its behaviour improved to the satisfaction of the Stipendiary Stewards in a jump out on a starting gate practice day.

PRECIOUS MOMENTS (K. Raja Rao) jumped awkwardly inwards and inconvenienced INCITATUS (D’nuSingh Deora) at the start.

Jockey P. Mani, the rider of ANMOL HIRA was fined Rs.2,000/- for coming in and causing interference to BOLD RUNNER (T.S. Jodha) on his inside, which in turn passed it onto the horses on its inside viz; SCENIC PARK (Ashok Kumar. A), PRECIOUS MOMENTS (K. Raja Rao) and ESPRESSO (Prashant P. Dhebe) approaching 1100 Meters.

Routine Sample was taken for analysis from the winner gr f LOVE FOR LIFE.
