Penetrometer Reading: 5.1 Cms

False Rails: Railing fixed at average width of 6 Meters from 1600 Meters to winning post from its original position.

1^st Race: 1. The Welcome Trophy - (About) 1100 metres. Maiden Horses 3 years old only (Horses who have run at least thrice but not placed second, third or fourth even once ineligible). (10 Runners).

As Jockey Yash Narredu was unable to fulfill his riding engagement and had prior commitment to ride at Singapore. Permission was granted to trainer S. Narredu to declare Jockey N. Rawal to ride STARS IN HIS EYES in the above race.

Trainer Mr. Prithviraj B. was fined Rs.1,000/- for declaring Jockey Sai Kiran.K who did not have a valid licence under BTC Rules of Racing for the year 2018-19. Subsequently, permission was granted to trainer to declare Jockey A.Ramu to ride GIN DAISY in the above race.

Jockey Neeraj Rawal replaced the indisposed Jockey Y.S. Srinath on TOUCH YOUR DESTINY.

LE MARC (Arshad Alam) after jumping out swerved towards the left and lost many lengths at the start. In view of its behaviour, Trainer Mr. Nityanand G. was informed that he must not accept with it again until its behaviour improved to the satisfaction of the Stipendiary Stewards in at least one Mock Race.

Trainer Mr. Prithviraj B. and Jockey A.Ramu were questioned regarding the running and riding and non-use of whip on GIN DAISY. The Trainer stated that the horse was heavy and had a tendon problem as such he could not work his ward much on the track. He added that the non-availability of the swimming pool made the difference in training the horse. However, trainer Mr. Prithviraj.B was informed that if there is any change in instructions specifically with the use of whip he has to inform the Stipendiary Stewards in advance. The horse was impounded for veterinary examination and was found to have clipped injury on left hind outer bulb.

TOUCH YOUR DESTINY (Neeraj Rawal) was impounded for veterinary examination and was found to have clipped injury on right hock.

Routine Sample was taken for analysis from the winner b g PELUCHE.

2^nd Race : 2. The Happy Valley Plate - (About) 1400 metres. Horses rated 00 to 20 (10 Runners).

It was observed that the clip of the left fore shoe on GUMPTION (Darshan R.N) had broken before coming to the saddling enclosure as there was no sufficient time to change the shoes. Under the circumstances, it was permitted to be withdrawn from the above race.

It was observed that Jockey V.R.Jagadeesh, the rider of ALL SAID AND DONE was injured in the starting gates as PERFECT HORIZON which was fractious, reared up and struck Jockey V.R.Jagadeesh. Under the circumstances, it was permitted to be withdrawn before coming under Starter's order.

GAME AGAIN (Nazerul Alam) planted, lost many lengths and ran detached thereafter. In view of its behaviour, Trainer Mr. Faraz Arshad was informed that he must not accept with it again until its behaviour improved to the satisfaction of the Stipendiary Stewards in at least one Mock Race.

ANEMOS (Neeraj Rawal) jumped awkwardly inwards and inconvenienced INDIAN BRAHMOS (D. Patel) at the start.

Jockey Ahsan Qureshi, the rider of WONDERLUST was reprimanded for shifting ‘in’ and inconveniencing PERFECT HORIZON (K. Raja Rao) before passing the red marker post.

GAME AGAIN (Nazerul Alam) sustained clipped injury on right hind inside hock.

Routine Sample was taken for analysis from the winner b f FREE PORT.

3^rd Race: 3. The Littleover Plate - Div. I - (About) 1100 metres. Horses rated 15 to 35, 4 years old and over (8 Runners).

Permission was granted to Trainer Mr. Rajesh Narredu to withdraw AEROSPEED (Yash Narredu) on veterinary grounds as it was found to be suffering from colic. He was informed that he must produce a Fitness Certificate from the Club's Veterinary Officer before accepting with it again.

Permission was granted to Trainer Mr. Dheeraj.V to withdraw BOLD RUNNER (B. R. Kumar) on veterinary grounds as it was found to have capped elbow- right limb and was lame. He was informed that he must produce a Fitness Certificate from the Club's Veterinary Officer before accepting with it again.

Permission was granted to trainer Mr. Irfan Ghatala to declare Jockey Md.Akram to ride GRECIAN LIGHT in place of the declared rider Jockey Shamaz Shareef as the races were postponed from 13-5-2018 to 20-5-2018 and he was under suspension from 19-5-2018 to 27-5-2018 (both days inclusive).

It was observed that the clip of the left fore shoe on ZAFRINA (Vivek) had broken before coming in the saddling enclosure. The same was informed to trainer Mr. K.P.G. Appu, the horse was immediately reshod thereafter. The horse was examined by the Club’s Veterinary Officer and was found to be sound. Hence, it was permitted to run in the above race.

Jockey R. Manjunath, the rider of TANISHKA was fined Rs.3,000/- for riding in an injudicious manner in the above race.

Jockey Ahsan Qureshi, the rider of VOLTATILITY was fined Rs.1,000/- for shifting out and taking out GRECIAN LIGHT (Md Akram) passing the 300 Metres.

Routine Sample was taken for analysis from the winner b f VOLATILITY.

4^th Race: 4. The Jayachamaraja Wadiyar Cup(Grade III) - (About) 1400 metres. 4 years old and over. (10 Runners).

Jockey Akshay Kumar was unable to fulfill his riding engagement, as the races were postponed and he had scheduled himself to ride track work at Ooty. Subsequently, permission was granted to trainer Mr. Ananta Vatsalya to declare Jockey Arshad Alam to ride AMOROUS WHITE in place of the declared rider in the above race.

FIRE GLOW (S. Zervan) jumped awkwardly inwards and inconvenienced SHAMAN (N. S. Parmar) at the start.

Trainer Mr. S.S. Attaollahi was questioned regarding the poor performance of his charge KANGRA. The trainer stated that he had asked Jockey A. Sandesh not to pressurize the horse, as it was running from 2400 Metres to 1400 Metres and he observed that the Jockey pressurized the horse to keep up with the pace thereby, the horse packed up in the end. The Jockey corroborated the statement of the trainer. Their explanations were noted for future reference.

KANGRA (A. Sandesh) was impounded for veterinary examination but no abnormality was reported.

Compulsory samples were taken for analysis from the following I,II & III placed horses viz:

Surprise sample was taken for analysis from b f KANGRA.

5^th Race: 5. The Elusive Pimpernel Trophy - (About) 1200 metres. Horses rated 60 and above (8 Runners).

Jockey S. John, the rider of HOT N FIRE was fined Rs.2,000/- for coming ‘in’ and tightening the horses on his inside viz; REGAL MUSIC (Akshay) ,SIDE WINDER (Syed Imran), TZAR (Rayan Ahmed R.) and SUPER SUCCESS (Darshan R.N) before passing the red marker post.

Trainer Mr. S.S.Attaollahi was questioned regarding the positioning of his ward ZAFRAN (A.Sandesh) in the above race. The trainer stated that the horse likes to be covered up in the race. Therefore, he was running in the last position and did not want to show daylight till the bend and thereafter, the Jockey rode out and did his best. His explanations were noted for future reference.

SUPER SUCCESS (Darshan R.N) was impounded for veterinary examination. On examination the Club’s Veterinary Officer reported that it was found to have sharp molars. Hence, Trainer Mr.Dheeraj.V was fined Rs.3,000/- for his negligence (1^st infringement).

Routine Sample was taken for analysis from the winner dk b f HOT N FIRE.

6^th Race: 6. The Royal Command Plate - (About) 1200 metres. Horses rated 15 to 35 (11 Runners).

As Jockey V.R. Jagadeesh was certified medically unfit to ride and as no suitable substitute rider was available. Permission was granted to trainer Mr. V. Lokanath to withdrawn LAND OF LIBERTY from the above race.

Jockey Ryan Marshall, the rider of BAROG was reprimanded for shifting ‘in’ and inconveniencing BERGAMOT (Suraj Narredu) on his inside approaching 800 Metres.

It was reported after the race that MUSIC DIVINE (Rayan Ahmed R.) burst its blood vessels. Trainer Mr.S. Dominic was informed that he must produce a Fitness Certificate from the Club's Veterinary Officer before accepting with it again.

It was reported after the race that BERGAMOT (Suraj Narredu) pulled up lame on right fore and also found to have burst its blood vessels (Endoscopy at 6.05 p.m. Grade-III). Trainer Mr. Rajesh Narredu was informed that he must produce a Fitness Certificate from the Club's Veterinary Officer before accepting with it again.

Routine Sample was taken for analysis from the winner b m FLORENCIA.

7^th Race: 7. The Littleover Plate - Div. II - (About) 1100 metres. Horses rated 15 to 35, 4 years old and over (9 Runners).

Jockey Arshad Alam replaced the indisposed Jockey V.R. Jagadeesh on BOLD MOVE.

SHEER MAGIC (Koushik) was extremely fractious, reared up and flipped over in the saddling enclosure. Under the circumstances, it was permitted to be withdrawn on veterinary grounds.

RED GALILEO (S. Zervan) was slowly away and lost many lengths at the start. In view of its behaviour, Trainer Mr.Imtiaz Khan was informed that he must not accept with it again until its behaviour improved to the satisfaction of the Stipendiary Stewards in at least one Mock Race.

It was observed that PRINCESS HOLLY (Rajesh Kumar M) was hanging out from the 700 Metres. The horse was impounded for veterinary examination but no abnormality was reported.

It was reported after the race that SOUTH BELL (M. Prabhakaran) pulled up lame on left hind. Trainer Mr. Sharat Kumar was informed that he must produce a Fitness Certificate from the Club's Veterinary Officer before accepting with it again.

Routine Sample was taken for analysis from the winner b f PINK SMILE.
