Penetrometer Reading: 5.4 Cms
False Rails: Railing fixed at average width of 7 Meters from 1600 Meters to winning post from its original position.
1st Race: 23. The Southern Empire Plate - (About) 1400 metres. Maiden Horses 3 years old only (Horses who have run at least thrice but not placed second, third or fourth even once ineligible). (10 Runners).
It was observed that Jockey Antony Raj S., the rider of AURIC FORCE had to steady his mount to avoid striking the front runner whereby AIR COMMAND (S. John) which was travelling directly behind him also had to steady his mount approaching 900 Metres.
It was observed that REGAL FORCE (Y. S. Srinath) was inclined to run out between the 900 Metres and 800 Metres.
AIR COMMAND (S. John) was impounded for veterinary examination but no abnormality was reported.
Surprise sample was taken for analysis from b c AIR COMMAND.
Routine Sample was taken for analysis from the winner ch f ISN'T SHE LOVELY.
2nd Race : 24. The Ministerial Plate - (About) 1200 metres. Maiden Horses 3 years old only (Horses who have run at least thrice but not placed second, third or fourth even once ineligible). (8 Runners).
INTO THE GROOVE (S. Zervan) jumped awkwardly outwards and inconvenienced SERBIAN QUEEN (Arshad Alam) at the start.
It was observed that Jockey Sunil Samson, the rider of TURF PROSPECTOR had to steady his mount to avoid striking the front runner BRIGHTSIDE OF LIFE (V.R.Jagadeesh) passing the 1000 Metres.
Routine Sample was taken for analysis from the winner b c KNOTTY ASH.
3rd Race: 25. The New Market Plate - (About) 1100 metres. Horses rated 00 to 20 (10 Runners).
Permission was granted to Trainer Mr.S. Dominic to withdraw MASTER OF WAR (B. Nayak) on veterinary grounds as it was found to be lame on left hind. He was informed that he must produce a Fitness Certificate from the Club's Veterinary Officer before accepting with it again.
Trainer Mr. Prithviraj B. was fined Rs.10,000/- for accepting his ward LIMATO (K. Nazil) to run in the above race when the owner was in B.T.F ban. Subsequently, it was permitted to be withdrawn.
SECURING SMILES (M. Naveen) was slowly away and lost few lengths at the start. In view of its behaviour, Trainer Mr. Sharat Kumar was informed that he must not accept with it again until its behaviour improved to the satisfaction of the Stipendiary Stewards in a jump out on a starting gate practice day.
REPSOL (G. Amit) jumped out awkwardly.
Jockey G. Amit, the rider of REPSOL was reprimanded for shifting out and taking out SECURING SMILES (Naveen M.) on his outside passing the 800 Metres.
Jockey K. Raja Rao, the rider of SAVISA was reprimanded for riding an indifferent race.
KONIGIN (B. Harish) ran detached from the field. Trainer Mr. M.P. Mahaesh was informed to ensure better performance of his charge in future.
Jockey Bhawani Singh, the rider of COUNTRY'S PEARL reported that his mount stopped galloping in the final 100 Metres. The horse was impounded for veterinary examination. On examination, it was found to have pulled up lame on right fore and also burst its blood vessels (Endoscopy Grade-III). Trainer Mr. Faraz Arshad was informed that he must produce a Fitness Certificate from the Club's Veterinary Officer before accepting with it again.
KONIGIN (Harish B.) sustained injury on right hind upper cannon inside.
Routine Sample was taken for analysis from the winner dk b m SCORCHING.
4th Race: 26. The Dharmaprakasha L.S.Venkaji Rao Memorial Cup - (About) 1400 metres. Horses rated 45 to 65, 5 years old and over (12 Runners).
MAGICAL DANCER (V.R.Jagadeesh) planted and lost many lengths. In view of its behaviour, Trainer Mr. Samar Singh was informed that he must not accept with it again until its behaviour improved to the satisfaction of the Stipendiary Stewards in at least two Mock Races.
SUPER SMART (Suraj Narredu) jumped out awkwardly.
Jockey Arshad Alam, the rider of ATTORNEY GENERAL reported that his saddle shifted forward passing the 1200 Metres, as such he could not offer any assistance thereafter. After due examination of the equipment, Trainer Mr.Nityanand G.was fined Rs.3,000/- for faulty saddling.
BLUE BLAZER (N. B. Kuldeep) accidentally brushed the railings passing the 1000 Metres.
Jockey P.Vikram, the rider of NATIVE ELEMENTS was reprimanded for not exercising sufficient control under the use of whip thereby allowing it to drift out and inconveniencing MAGICAL DANCER (V.R.Jagadeesh) passing the 200 Metres.
SUMMER DAWN (G. Amit) sustained injury on back of right hock.
BLUE BLAZER (N. B. Kuldeep) was impounded for veterinary examination but no abnormality was reported.
Routine Sample was taken for analysis from the winner b m FAIR GAME.
5th Race: 27. The Managing Committee Gold Cup - (About) 1200 metres. Horses rated 75 and above (10 Runners).
Jockey P. Trevor, the rider of BOOKER JONES was reprimanded for shifting out and inconveniencing LIGHTNING STRIKES (Y.S. Srinath) on his outside passing the 1000 Metres.
Jockey P.Vikram, the rider of OCCITAN was fined Rs. 1,000/- for travelling wide while rounding the final bend for no apparent reason.
CHASE YOUR DREAMS (Kuldeep Singh) accidentally stumbled passing the 250 Metres.
Jockey Y. S. Srinath, the rider of LIGHTNING STRIKES reported that his mount stopped galloping in the final 200 Metres. The horse was impounded for veterinary examination but no abnormality was reported.
It was reported after the race that LIFE AWAITS (N. S. Parmar) burst its blood vessels ( Endoscopy - Grade II ). Trainer Mr.Sriram Komandur was informed that he must produce a Fitness Certificate from the Club's Veterinary Officer before accepting with it again.

6th Race: 28. The Brig.R.C.R Hill Memorial Trophy - (About) 1400 metres. Horses rated 30 to 50 (10 Runners).
Trainer Mr. Hidayat Khan was fined Rs.5,000/- for discrepancy in shoeing in respect of his ward WAR ENVOY (Arshad Alam) (1st infringement).
It was reported after the race that SALVADOR DALI (Neeraj Rawal) pulled up lame on left fore. Trainer Mr.S. Padmanabhan was informed that he must produce a Fitness Certificate from the Club's Veterinary Officer before accepting with it again.
It was reported after the race that ASTRILD (J. Pradeep) burst its blood vessels (Endoscopy - Grade IV). Trainer Mr. M. Rajendra Singh was informed that he must produce a Fitness Certificate from the Club's Veterinary Officer before accepting with it again.
ASTRILD (J. Pradeep) was impounded for veterinary examination. On examination, it was found to have sharp molars. Hence, Trainer Mr. M. Rajendra Singh was fined Rs.3,000/- for his negligence (1st infringement).
POSEIDON (V.R.Jagadeesh) sustained superficial injury over point of hock.
An enquiry is being held into the running and riding of AGNETA, trained by Sandhu G. and ridden by S.K.Paswan in the above race.
Routine Sample was taken for analysis from the winner b c CAPRICIOUS.
7th Race: 29. The Holding Court Plate - (About) 1200 metres. Horses rated 15 to 35 (12 Runners).
AMALFI COAST (R. Anand) reared up as the gates opened, was stuck in the starting gates, totally unbalancing the rider, thereby the rider was unseated from his saddle and the horse ran rider less thereafter. In view of its behaviour, Trainer Mr.Narayana Gowda V. was informed that he must not accept with it again until its behaviour improved to the satisfaction of the Stipendiary Stewards in at least one Mock Race.
TEVODA (Mudassar Nazar) after jumping out, swerved towards the left, went onto the sand track and did not take part in the race. In view of its behaviour, Trainer Mr.Arjun Mangalorkar was informed that he must not accept with it again until its behaviour improved to the satisfaction of the Stipendiary Stewards in at least one Mock Race.
Jockey P.S. Chouhan, the rider of MISCHIEF FLYER was fined Rs.2,000/- for coming ‘in’ and tightening IMPRIMATUR (P. Tejeshwar) on his inside who had to check his mount and shift out, thereby inconveniencing DESERT GILT (S.A. Amit) approaching 1000 Metres.
Jockey B.R. Kumar, the rider of GOLD MIST was fined Rs.1,000/- for coming ‘in’ and causing interference to DESERT GILT (S.A. Amit) on his inside approaching 900 Metres.
Jockey P. Tejeshwar, the rider of IMPRIMATUR was fined Rs.3,000/- for shifting out and causing interference GOLD MIST (B.R. Kumar) on his outside passing the 850 Metres.
Routine Sample was taken for analysis from the winner b g IMPRIMATUR.
8th Race: 30. The Astounding Plate - (About) 1600 metres. Horses rated 15 to 35, 4 years old and over (10 Runners).
DECLARATIONOFLOVE (A. Sandesh) jumped awkwardly inwards and inconvenienced RAVISHING SNOW (S. Mubarak) at the start.
Jockey Neeraj Rawal, the rider of CASEY reported that his mount was trying to run out despite his best efforts in the final 200 Metres.
Jockey P. Trevor, the rider of SCARLET PRINCESS was reprimanded for shifting out and inconveniencing RAVISHING SNOW (S. Mubarak) on his outside passing the 200 Metres.
Jockey A. Sandesh, the rider of DECLARATIONOFLOVE reported that his mount was wobbling in the final 150 Metres as such he had to stop riding to support his horse to finish the race. The horse was impounded for veterinary examination but no abnormality was reported.
It was reported after the race that REVERENCE (Vivek) burst its blood vessels. Trainer Mr. Pradeep Annaiah was informed that he must produce a Fitness Certificate from the Club's Veterinary Officer before accepting with it again.
An enquiry is being into the running and riding of RAVISHING SNOW, trained by Imtiaz Khan and ridden by S. Mubarak in the above race.
