1st Race: 153. The Borsalino Plate - (About) 1400 metres. Maiden Horses 3 years old only (Horses who have run at least thrice but not placed second, third or fourth even once ineligible). (10 Runners).

Jockey Neeraj Rawal, the rider of FOI ET AMOUR was reprimanded for shifting out and inconveniencing EKALAVYA (Ryan Marshall) on his outside approaching 1100 Metres.

It was observed that STUNNING GREY (A.Imran Khan) was inclined to run out whereby it inconvenienced MARIACHI (Vinod Shinde) approaching 700 Metres.

It was observed that STUNNING GREY (A.Imran Khan) lost its hind footings passing the 650 Metres.

Jockey D'nuSingh Deora, the rider of ZEHNASEEB reported that his mount was running green after entering in the straight.

Jockey S. Zervan, the rider of TIO RICO was reprimanded for shifting 'in' and inconveniencing FOI ET AMOUR (Neeraj Rawal) on his inside passing the 300 Metres.

Jockey Arshad Alam, the rider of GAME CHANGER was severely reprimanded for shifting 'in' and inconveniencing CIEL ETOILE (P. Trevor) on his inside passing the 250 Metres.

STUNNING GREY (A.Imran Khan) sustained superficial injury on right hind hock.

Routine Sample was taken for analysis from the winner dk b c GAME CHANGER.

2nd Race: 154. The Meydan Plate - (About) 1400 metres. Horses rated 00 to 20 (11 Runners).

Jockey K. Sai Kiran replaced the indisposed Jockey V.R. Jagadeesh on MOONLIGHT LOVE.

MOONLIGHT LOVE (K. Sai Kiran) planted and took no practical part in the race. In view of its behaviour, Trainer Mr.S. Narredu was informed that he must not accept with it again until its behaviour improved to the satisfaction of the Stipendiary Stewards in at least one Mock Race.

Jockey Arshad Alam, the rider of WINX reported that his saddle shifted forward passing the 700 Meters as such the rider could not offer much assistance to his mount thereafter. After due examination of the equipment, Trainer Mr.Imtiaz Khan was fined Rs.3,000/- for faulty saddling.

Jockey R Manjunath, the rider of KRUGER PARK was reprimanded for travelling wide between the 600 Metres till about rounding the final bend.

SUPREME HEIGHTS (Rayan Ahmed.R) ran detached from the field. Trainer Mr. S. Ganapathy was informed to ensure better performance of his charge in future.

RACY PRINCESS (Y. S. Srinath) was impounded for veterinary examination but no abnormality was reported.

Routine Sample was taken for analysis from the winner b g FEELING EASY.

3rd Race: 155. The H.B.Gundappa Gowda Memorial Cup - (About) 2000 metres. Horses rated 45 to 65 (6 Runners).

Permission was granted to Trainer Mr.Irfan Ghatala to withdraw DR LOGAN (Ahsan Qureshi) on veterinary grounds as it was found to be lame on left fore due to inflammed hoof. He was informed that he must produce a Fitness Certificate from the Club's Veterinary Officer before accepting with it again.

Routine Sample was taken for analysis from the winner b f CORYBANTIC.

4th Race: 156. The Camino Trophy - Div. II - (About) 1200 metres. Horses rated 30 to 50, 4 years old and over (11 Runners).

Jockey Vivek replaced the indisposed Jockey V.R. Jagadeesh on MINT.

FLICKA (Rayan Ahmed R.) was extremely fractious inside the starting gates, reared up and its right hind got stuck for a considerable period of time. Under the circumstances, it was permitted to be withdrawn on veterinary grounds before coming under starter's order. Trainer Mr.Aravind G. was informed that he must produce a Fitness Certificate from the Club's Veterinary Officer before accepting with it again.

Jockey Khurshad Alam, the rider of PARADISO was fined Rs.1,000/- for dropping hands in the final 75 Metres of the race.

Routine Sample was taken for analysis from the winner ch f ALBERETTA.

5th Race: 157. The Renaissance Bengaluru Race Course Hotel Karnataka Mile Championship Cup (Grade II) - (About) 1600 metres. 4 years old and over. (5 Runners).

It was observed that LADY IN LACE (P. Trevor) was hanging 'in' in the final 150 Metres of the race. Trainer Mr. Prasad Raju K.S.V. was informed to take appropriate corrective measures before accepting with it again.

Compulsory samples were taken for analysis from the following I,II & III placed horses viz:

6th Race: 158. The Racing Patrons Trophy - (About) 1400 metres. Horses rated 75 and above (7 Runners).

Permission was granted to Trainer Mr.S. Padmanabhan to withdraw BARACCHUS (Md.Akram) on veterinary grounds as it was found to be lame on right hind limb.He was informed that he must produce a Fitness Certificate from the Club's Veterinary Officer before accepting with it again.

Jockey Sunil Samson, the rider of BOLD COMMAND was fined Rs.5,000/- for shifted 'in' causing interference to JUSTICE ANGEL (Arshad Alam), which in turn passed it  onto PINYADA (P. Trevor) along the rails approaching 1100 Metres.

Jockey Akshay Kumar(Hyd), the rider of AMBITIOUS APPROACH reported that he accidentally lost his whip approaching 250 Metres.

BOLD COMMAND (Sunil Samson) sustained superficial injury on right hind hock.

PINYADA (P. Trevor) was impounded for veterinary examination but no abnormality was reported.

Routine Sample was taken for analysis from the winner b m JUSTICE ANGEL.

7th Race: 159. The Camino Trophy - Div. I - (About) 1200 metres. Horses rated 30 to 50, 4 years old and over (9 Runners).

Permission was granted to Trainer Mr. Sharat Kumar to withdraw RECZAI on veterinary grounds as it was found to be lame on left hind. He was informed that he must produce a Fitness Certificate from the Club's Veterinary Officer before accepting with it again.

Permission was granted to Trainer Mr.S. Ganapathy  to withdraw GRAND EMPIRE (A.Imran Khan) on veterinary grounds as it was found to be lame on right fore due to sprained tendon. He was informed that he must produce a Fitness Certificate from the Club's Veterinary Officer before accepting with it again.

Jockey  P. Ramesh replaced the indisposed Jockey S. Mubarak on EXPERT.

RACING FIRE (Irvan Singh) was examined at the starting gate by the Club's Veterinary Officer and was found to be trotting lame on right fore. Under the circumstances, it was permitted to be withdrawn on veterinary grounds before coming under Starter's order. Trainer Mr.K.P.G Appu was informed that he must produce a Fitness Certificate from the Club's Veterinary Officer before accepting with it again.

It was observed that Jockey Chethan Gowda, the rider of QUEEN LATIFA had to steady his mount to avoid striking the front runner LADY BARRINGTON (Yash Narredu) rounding the final bend.

Jockey Neeraj Rawal, the rider of VOLATILITY  was reprimanded for shifting 'in' and inconveniencing QUEEN LATIFA (Chethan Gowda) on his inside approaching 200 Metres.

Jockey P. Ramesh, the rider of EXPERT was fined Rs.1,000/- for dropping hands in the final 100 Metres of the race.

EXPERT (P. Ramesh) sustained bleeding injury on right hind hock.

INTERESTING (Raghu K) sustained bleeding injury on left fore cannon.

Routine Sample was taken for analysis from the winner b f QUEEN LATIFA.

8th Race: 160. The Allied Forces Plate - (About) 1400 metres. Horses rated 15 to 35, 4 years old and over (11 Runners).

Permission was granted to Trainer Mr.Dheeraj.V to withdraw BOLD RUNNER (Surya P.) on veterinary grounds as it was found to be lame on right fore. He was informed that he must produce a Fitness Certificate from the Club's Veterinary Officer before accepting with it again.

Jockey Ganesh N., the rider of SHIVALIK GIRL was fined Rs.1,000/- for shifting 'in' and causing interference to SCARLET PRINCESS (K. Sai Kiran), which in turn passed it onto STRIKING GREY (Darshan R.N) on his inside soon after the start.

Jockey Jan'dhan Paswan, the rider of CZAR RULE reported that he accidentally lost his whip passing the 300 Metres.

Routine Sample was taken for analysis from the winner ch f PIPER REGINA.

ADDITIONAL REPORT

TWENTIETH DAY, SUNDAY, 22ND  JULY, 2018

 

Race: 141. The Kunigal Stud Plate - (About) 1600 metres. Horses rated 30 to 50, 5 years old and over.

An enquiry was held on 30th July, 2018 by the Stipendiary Stewards for the above race into the interference caused by Jockey M. Prabhakaran on his mount STANLEY in that he shifted out and caused severe interference to the horses on his outside viz; PRINCEAZEEM (Syed Imran), WAR ENVOY (Y. S. Srinath) and TURF TACTICS (K. Raja Rao) approaching 200 Metres.

Jockey M. Prabhakaran was interviewed by the Stipendiary Stewards. The Stipendiary Stewards after considering the submissions made by Jockey M. Prabhakaran and after viewing the CCTV decided to charge Jockey M. Prabhakaran for careless riding.

The Stipendiary Stewards thereafter suspended the Jockey’s Licence granted to M. Prabhakaran with effect from 9-8-2018 to 10-8-2018 (both days inclusive) and again from 2-11-2018 to 3-11-2018 (both days inclusive) as he had pleaded guilty of the charge under Rule No. 161 (i) of the BTC Rules of Racing for Careless Riding on his mount STANLEY (he is permitted to ride work and informed of his right to appeal).

ORDER OF THE BOARD OF APPEAL

Race: 30. The Astounding Plate - (About) 1600 metres. Horses rated 15 to 35, 4 years old and over.

 

(a)

 

After due consideration of the application made by Trainer Mr. Imtiaz Khan seeking for stay of punishment where his licence had been withdrawn with effect from 30-7-2018 to 30-4-2019 (both days inclusive) and should he apply for his trainer’s licence for the year 2019-20 the same shall not be considered upto 29-7-2019 for Contravention of Rule No. 159 (a) of the BTC Rules of Racing for not running his charge RAVISHING SNOW on its merits in the above race. The Board of Appeal decided to stay the operation of punishment till the Appeal is heard and finally disposed of by it.

(b)

After due consideration of the application made by Jockey S. Mubarak seeking for stay of punishment where his licence had been withdrawn with effect from 30-7-2018 to 29-1-2019 (both days inclusive) for not allowing his mount RAVISHING SNOW to run on its merits in the above race thereby, Contravention of Rule No. 159 (a) of the BTC Rules of Racing. The Board of Appeal decided to stay the operation of punishment till the Appeal is heard and finally disposed of by it.

                          SIXTEENTH DAY, SUNDAY, 8TH JULY, 2018

Race: 114. The P.V.Shetty Memorial Cup - (About) 1200 metres. Horses rated 45 to 65.

After due consideration of the application made by Jockey V.R. Jagadeesh seeking for stay of punishment where his licence had been withdrawn with effect from 30-7-2018 to 10-8-2018 (both days inclusive) and again from 2-11-2018 to 16-11-2018 (both days inclusive) for Unsatisfactory Riding on his mount AEISIR Rule No. 161 (ii) of the BTC Rules of Racing. The Board of Appeal decided to stay the operation of punishment till the Appeal is heard and finally disposed of by it.
