1st Race: 182. The Champion Jockey Cup - (About) 1200 metres. Horses rated 00 to 20 (8 Runners).
It was observed that Jockey Kiran Rai P, the rider of MOON BLINK had to steady his mount to avoid striking the front runner ULTIMATE POWER (Darshan R.N) passing the 800 Metres.
Jockey Kiran Rai P, the rider of MOON BLINK was fined Rs. 3,000/- for not making sufficient effort on his mount after entering the straight.
ULTIMATE POWER (Darshan R.N) sustained clipped injury on right hind cannon.
Routine Sample was taken for analysis from the winner b g SILKEN STRIKER.
2nd Race: 183. The Totalizator Cup - (About) 1100 metres. Maiden Horses 3 years old only (Horses who have run at least thrice but not placed second, third or fourth even once ineligible). (5 Runners).
Permission was granted to Trainer Mr. Irfan Ghatala to withdraw AKITA PRO (S. Zervan) on veterinary grounds as it was found to be trotting lame on right fore. He was informed that he must produce a Fitness Certificate from the Club's Veterinary Officer before accepting with it again.
ARMIN (Yash Narredu) bolted on the way to the starting gates and ran anticlockwise. The horse was examined at the starting gate by the Club's Veterinary Officer and was found to be trotting lame on right fore. Under the circumstances, it was permitted to be withdrawn on veterinary grounds before coming under Starter's order. Trainer Mr. Arjun Mangalorkar was informed that he must produce a Fitness Certificate from the Club's Veterinary Officer before accepting with it again.
BOND OF TRUST (R. Manjunath) was extremely fractious, reared up and fell over on its back inside the gates. Under the circumstances, it was permitted to be withdrawn on veterinary grounds before coming under starter's order. Trainer Mr.S. Britto was informed that he must produce a Fitness Certificate from the Club's Veterinary Officer before accepting with it again.
Jockey R. Vaibhav, the rider of MY LEXICON reported that his mount brushed the right side of the gates while jumping out.
Routine Sample was taken for analysis from the winner b f WINGS OF DESIRE.
3rd Race: 184. The Leading Owner Cup - (About) 1600 metres. Horses rated 30 to 50 (8 Runners).
Routine Sample was taken for analysis from the winner b g PELUCHE.
4th Race: 185. The Leading Stud Cup - (About) 1400 metres. Horses rated 60 and above (10 Runners).
Jockey Ahsan Qureshi, the rider of AUTOMATIC reported that he was inconvenienced between the 900 Metres till about 600 Metres thereby he could not improve his position till about the final bend.
Jockey S. Zervan, the rider of BIG HEART reported that his mount was hanging 'in' despite his best efforts thereby causing interference to COURAGE (Vinod Shinde) on his inside approaching 100 Metres. As the incident was accidental no action was taken beyond noting the incident. The horse was impounded for veterinary examination but no abnormality was reported. However, Trainer Mr. Prasanna Kumar was informed to take appropriate corrective measures before accepting with it again.

5th Race: 186. The Leading Tipster Cup - (About) 1600 metres. Horses rated 00 to 20 (11 Runners).
NATALIE (D. Patel) planted and lost many lengths at the start. In view of its behaviour, Trainer Mr.F. Sirajuddin was informed that he must not accept with it again until its behaviour improved to the satisfaction of the Stipendiary Stewards in at least one Mock Race.
Jockey Rajesh N, the rider of CROZIET reported that his mount stopped galloping in the straight. The horse was impounded for veterinary examination. On examination, it was found to be lame on right fore. Trainer Mr. Dheeraj.V was informed that he must produce a Fitness Certificate from the Club's Veterinary Officer before accepting with it again.
An enquiry was held on 11th August, 2018 by the Stipendiary Stewards for the above race into the use of whip by Jockey K. Sai Kiran on his mount KINGS KID in that he continuously whipped his horse on the right allowing the horse to drift out and instead of correcting his mount, more so when he had a horse viz; ALEEF on his outside and challenging him in the final stretch of the race he still persisted the use of the whip on the right, further drifting out and inconveniencing the horse on his outside very badly and also putting his horse at a great disadvantage in the race.
Jockey K. Sai Kiran was interviewed by the Stipendiary Stewards. The Stipendiary Stewards after considering the submissions made by Jockey K. Sai Kiran and after viewing the CCTV decided to charge Jockey K. Sai Kiran for contravention of Calendar Notification under the heading “USE OF WHIP’.
The Stipendiary Stewards thereafter suspended Jockey K. Sai Kiran with effect from 2-11-2018 to 3-11-2018 (both days inclusive) as he had pleaded guilty of the charge for contravention of Calendar Notification under the heading “USE OF WHIP’ on his mount KINGS KID (he is permitted to ride work and was informed of his right to appeal).
MY VALENTINE (S Imran) sustained injuries on left hind hock and right hind pastern.

6th Race: 187. The Champion Trainer Cup - (About) 1400 metres. Maiden Horses 3 years old only (Horses who have run at least thrice but not placed second, third or fourth even once ineligible). (9 Runners).
Trainer Mr. S.S. Attaollahi was fined Rs.5,000/- for not obtaining prior permission for his charge SUPERNORMAL (S. Zervan) to race with BLINKERS. Subsequently, permission was granted to him to run his charge with BLINKERS.
ARROGANCE (Yash Narredu) was examined at the starting gate by the Club's Veterinary Officer and was found to be trotting lame on left fore. Under the circumstances, it was permitted to be withdrawn on veterinary grounds before coming under Starter's order. Trainer Mr. Irfan Ghatala was informed that he must produce a Fitness Certificate from the Club's Veterinary Officer before accepting with it again.
Jockey D'nuSingh Deora, the rider of ZEHNASEEB reported that his mount was running green after entering the straight.
Routine Sample was taken for analysis from the winner b c SECRETIVE FORCE.
7th Race: 188. The Good-Bye Stakes - (About) 1200 metres. Horses rated 15 to 35 (12 Runners).
STRIKING GREY (Adarsh G.) planted and lost many lengths at the start. In view of its behaviour, Trainer Mr.V. Lokanath was informed that he must not accept with it again until its behaviour improved to the satisfaction of the Stipendiary Stewards in at least one Mock Race.
Routine Sample was taken for analysis from the winner b g EYE SIGN.

Race No: 123. The Delhi Cup - (About) 1400 metres. Horses rated 15 to 35.
An enquiry was held on 5th August, 2018 by the Stipendiary Stewards into the running and riding of FIRING LINE, trained by Samar Singh and ridden by K. Raja Rao in the above race. After due enquiry (a) Jockey K. Raja Rao was fined Rs.10,000/- for not making sufficient effort on his mount during the race and (b) note the explanations tendered by trainer Mr. Samar Singh for future reference.
EIGHTEENTH DAY, SUNDAY, 15TH JULY, 2018
Race No: 127. The Hyderabad Cup - Div. I - (About) 1200 metres. Horses rated 15 to 35, 4 years old and over.
An enquiry was held on 5th August, 2018 by the Stipendiary Stewards into the running and riding of SKYBOUND, trained by Sandhu.G and ridden by Mohd. Feroz in the above race. After due enquiry (a) Jockey Mohd. Feroz was fined Rs.5,000/- for not making sufficient effort on his mount during the race and (b) note the explanations tendered by trainer Mr. Sandhu.G for future reference.
NINETEENTH DAY, SATURDAY, 21ST JULY, 2018
Race No: 137. The Set Alight Plate - Div. II - (About) 1400 metres. Horses rated 15 to 35, 5 years old and over.
The Stipendiary Stewards reported Trainer Mr. Irfan Ghatala to the Stewards for contravention of Rule No. 114 (b) (i) and 167 (b) of the BTC Rules of Racing in respect of his charge FIORENZO. The Stewards held an enquiry on 4th August, 2018, examined Trainer Mr. Irfan Ghatala.
After deliberations they decided to:
(a) suspend the traner’s licence granted to him from 2-11-2018 to 1-12-2018 (both days inclusive) and;
(b) fine him a sum of Rs. 10,000/- for contravention of Rule No. 114 (b) (i) and 167 (b) of the BTC Rules of Racing in respect of his charge FIORENZO in the above race.
He was informed of his right to appeal.

Trainer Mr. Rutherford Alford was fined Rs.5,000/- for late submission of scratching form in respect of his charge HOME OF THE BRAVE.
Trainer Mr. L.V. R. Deshmukh was fined Rs.5,000/- for late submission of scratching form in respect of his charge SUBLIME.
