Jockey Md.Akram (BIRCHWOOD) was fined Rs.2,000/- for coming ‘in'' and causing interference to SOVIET UNION, which in turn passed it onto AS TIME GOES BY before passing the red marker post.
Trainer and Jockey were questioned regarding the running and riding of STANLEY. The trainer stated that his instructions were to go to the front and do his best. But his ward missed the jump and the rider had to push to obtain forward position and in the process had used up the horse whereby it stopped galloping in the final 150 Metres. The Jockey corroborated the statement of the trainer. However, Jockey was cautioned to be more judicious in his judgement in future.
Jockey Sunil Samson (ALVAREZ) was fined Rs.1,000/- for coming ‘in'' and causing interference to CAMPARI GIRL approaching 300 Metres.
