An enquiry was held on 30th May, 2022 by the Stipendiary Stewards for the above race into the interference caused by Jockey Ahsan Qureshi on his mount HANDSOME MOVER in that he came ‘in’ and caused interference to the horses on his inside viz; STRIKING MELODY (S. Saqlain), FIERCE FIGHTER (Nazerul Alam) and RHAPSODY IN GREEN (P. Trevor) passing the 1400 Metres.
Jockey Ahsan Qureshi was interviewed by the Stipendiary Stewards. The Stipendiary Stewards after considering the submissions made by Jockey Ahsan Qureshi and after viewing the CCTV decided to charge Jockey Ahsan Qureshi for careless riding.
The Stipendiary Stewards thereafter suspended Jockey Ahsan Qureshi on 11th June, 2022 as he had pleaded guilty of the charge under Rule No. 161 (i) of the BTC Rules of Racing for Careless Riding on his mount HANDSOME MOVER (he is permitted to ride work and was informed of his right to appeal).

Jockey Md.Akram (DRUMS OF WAR) was reprimanded for taking an unduly long lead during the race.
It was reported after the race that DRUMS OF WAR (Md.Akram) burst its blood vessels. Trainer was informed to produce a Fitness Certificate.
Jockey Rayan Ahmed R (ZEHNASEEB) was fined Rs.1,000/- for shifting 'in' and causing interference to SHAN E AZEEM (Arul J.H) on his inside passing the 500 Metres.
STRIKING MELODY (S. Saqlain) sustained superficial clip injury on left hock.
Jockey L. Alex Rozario (SOUTHERNARISTOCRAT) was fined Rs.2,000/- for dropping hands in the final 200 Metres of the race.
FIERCE FIGHTER (Nazerul Alam) was subjected to veterinary examination but no abnormality was reported.
COMMANDPOST was withdrawn on veterinary grounds as it was found to have exertional rhabdomyolysis. Trainer was informed to produce a Fitness Certificate.

It was observed that the left hind bandage on AGUILA (P. S. Chouhan) came off passing the 1300 Metres as the incident was accidental no action was taken beyond noting the incident and also it was found to have sustained superficial injury on right hind tendon.

Saqlain) accidentally struck the front runner OCEAN DUNES (Mudassar Nazar), whereby the rider was totally unbalanced, stumbled and lost his left stirrup, which he regained approaching 700 Metres. In the process, BENEDICTION (L. Alex Rozario) and ULTIMATE STRIKER (Darshan R.N) which were travelling behind had to be steadied by its respective riders and shift out.
