The Holenarsipur Plate-(About) 1400 Metres. 10 Runners Maiden Indian Horses 3 years old only at the time of starting (Terms). Jockey D. Gnaneshwar, the rider of SUPERSHA, reported that he could not get a clear run soon after the start due to crowding of field. Jockey Suraj Narredu, the rider of SAFARI, report- ed that his mount was hanging `in' after entering the straight. Trainer Mr. R.R. Byramji was informed to get it checked by his Veterinarian and take appropriate remedial measures before accepting with it again. SIMPLY SCINTILLATE (S. Babu) sustained an injury on left fore cannon. 2nd Race: 107. The Horanadu Plate-Div.II-(About) 1200 Metres 7 Runners A Handicap for horses rated 20 to 50, 5 and 6 years old at the time of starting. Permission was granted to trainer Mr Samar Singh to withdraw FAST MACHINE on veterinary grounds as it was suffering from Colic. He was informed that he must produce a Fitness Certificate from the Club's Veteri- nary Officer before accepting with it again. The Ardent Knight Trophy-(About) 1100 Metres. 9 Runners Maiden Indian Horses 3 years old only at the time of starting (Terms). Jockey Vivek, the rider of FLYING FLAME, reported that he lost his whip approaching the 200 Metres. Routine Sample was taken for analysis from the winner b g FANTASTIC QUEST. 4th Race: 109. The Amber Regent Plate - (About) 1600 Metres. 9 Runners Horses rated 20 to 50. Trainer Mr. Mahmood Khan was fined Rs.500/- for making an error in the starting declaration in respect of his charge MISTER TROOPER as regards the allowance claimed by the rider. On a report from the Clerk of the Scales that Jockey Colm O'Donoghue, the rider of STORMING BROWN placed 4th by the Judge weighed `in' less in relation to the weight while weighing `out', the Stewards or- dered and held an enquiry immediately after the race and interviewed the Clerk of the Scales, Jockey Colm O'Donoghue and trainer Mr. S. Ganapathy. After delib- erations they decided to disqualify STORMING BROWN for the above race as the rider did not draw the correct weight at the time of weighing in (Rule No.180). Subsequently Jockey Colm O'Donoghue was fined Rs.5,000/- for not properly drawing the correct weight at the time of weighing `in'. 5th Race: 110. Chandrashekar was certified medically unfit to ride, permission was granted to trainer Mr. Warren Singh to substitute Jockey Ahsan Qureshi to ride SHE'S BIG in place of Jockey S. Chandrashekar, the declared rider. LOOK ALIKE (Tauseef Ahmed) swerved towards the left and lost considerable ground at the start. In view of its behaviour Trainer Mr. M.B. Mangalorkar was informed that he must not accept with it again until its behaviour improved to the satisfaction of the Stipendiary Stewards in one Mock Race on a race day on the race track. Jockey D. Gnaneshwar, the rider of MY WINNING CHARM, was reprimanded for not maintaining a straight course in the last 200 Metres. 7th Race: 112.The Dr. S.K. Pillay Memorial Plate-(About) 1400 12 Runners Metres. Horses rated 40 to 70, 5 & 6 years old at the time of starting. Jockey C. Krishnan, the rider of BOLD REQUEST, was reprimanded for not maintaining a proper course ap- proaching the 800 Metres. Jockey K.P.G. Appu, the rider of CIAMPINO, was fined Rs.1,000/- for the excessive use of the whip on his mount during the race (1st infringement). SECRET FURY (Gaurav Sapra) sustained a cut injury on left hind outer bulb. 8th Race: 113. The Subash Nagar Plate - (About) 1600 Metres. 12 Runners Horses rated 00 to 30. Jockey Gaurav Sapra, the rider of PLUM PUDDING, reported that his mount was hanging `in' after entering the straight. Trainer Mr. G. Nityanand was informed to get it checked by his Veterinarian and take appropriate corrective measures before accepting with it again. Jockey Vinod Shinde, the rider of ANNA FLEETWOOD, reported that his mount was inclined to run out all through the race. Trainer Mr. Irfan Ghatala was in- formed that he must take appropriate corrective meas- ures before accepting with it again. Jockey Ahsan Qureshi, the rider of WORD TO WORD was reprimanded for dropping his hands before passing the winning post.
