        1st Race:     39. The Linganamakki Plate - (About) 1400 Metres.
        10 Runners    Horses rated 00 to 30.
        
                       KING  OF GOOD TIMES (Shakti Singh) planted in  the 
                  starting gates and lost many lengths at the start.   In 
                  view  of its behaviour Trainer Mr. S. Dominic  was  in-
                  formed that he must not accept with it again until  its 
                  behaviour improved to the satisfaction of the Stipendi-
                  ary Stewards in one Mock Race on a race day on the race 
                  track. 
        
                       The  Stipendiary Stewards reported  Jockey  Ashwin 
                  Rao to the Stewards in connection with the handling  of 
                  his  mount HARD CASH in the above race.   The  Stewards 
                  held  an  enquiry after the last race  and  interviewed 
                  Jockey  Ashwin Rao and Mr. Amit Caddy, the  trainer  of 
                  the  horse.  After deliberations, they decided  to  (a) 
                  note  the  explanations tendered by  trainer  Mr.  Amit 
                  Caddy; and (b) suspend the Jockey's Licence granted  to 
                  Jockey  Ashwin Rao from 11-12-2007 to 21-12-2007  (both 
                  days  inclusive) for riding an injudicious  race  (Rule 
                  No.161(ii)  on  his mount HARD CASH in the  above  race 
                  (permitted to ride work). 
        
        2nd Race:     40. The December Plate - (About) 1200 Metres. 
         8 Runners    Maiden Indian Horses 2 years old only (Terms).
        
                       As Jockey S. Ramesh was certified medically  unfit 
                  to ride, permission was granted to trainer Mr. J.  Babu 
                  Rao  to  declare Jockey Ahsan Qureshi to  ride  POKEMON 
                  MASTER in place of Jockey S. Ramesh the declared rider. 
        
                       REFLECTION  OF  GOLD, (K.P.G.  Appu)   jumped  out 
                  awkwardly  thereby inconveniencing PLEASANT  GLORY  (B. 
                  Prakash) on its outside.
        
                       LUCKY  MASCOT (S.Babu) sustained a cut  injury  on 
                  right hind shank.
        
                       Routine  Sample  was taken for analysis  from  the 
                  winner b f ALCMENE.
        
        3rd Race:     41. The Taj Stud Plate-Div.II - (About) 1400 Metres
         8 Runners    Horses rated 60 to 90, 4 & 5 years old only.
        
                       Jockey  K.P.G. Appu, the rider of BORN  FREE,  re-
                  ported  that his mount was reluctant to raise a  fluent 
                  gallop soon after the start. In view of its  behaviour, 
                  Trainer  Mr. S. Dominic was informed that he  must  not 
                  accept  with it again until its behaviour  improved  to 
                  the satisfaction of the Stipendiary in one jump out  on 
                  a starting gate practice day.  

                       Jockey  Vincent  Colgan, the rider  of  WOMAN  IN-
                  CHARGE,  was  fined Rs.1,000/- for dropping  his  hands 
                  before passing the winning post. 
        
                       BORN  FREE  (K.P.G. Appu)  sustained  injuries  on 
                  right fore inner bulb of the heel. 
        
        4th Race:     42. The Kumararajah M.A.M.Muthiah Trophy - (About)
         9 Runners     1600 Metres. Horses rated 40 to 70, 4 and 5 years
                      old.
        
                       Jockey  G.Y.  Rajesh Babu, the  rider  of  HIDALGO 
                  reported  that he could not get a clear run soon  after 
                  the start due to the crowding of the field. 
        
                       Jockey  K.  Gopal Rao, the rider of  ALGIERS,  was 
                  fined  Rs.1,000/- for the excessive use of the whip  on 
                  his mount during the race (1st infringement). 
        
                       Jockey  J.H. Christopher, the rider  of  CIAMPINO, 
                  was fined Rs.1,000/- for the excessive use of the  whip 
                  on his mount during the race (1st infringement). 
        
                       Surprise  Sample was taken for analysis  from  the 
                  winner b g ALGIERS. 
        
        5th Race:     43. The Taj Stud Plate-Div.I - (About) 1400 Metres
         9 Runners    Horses rated 60 to 90, 4 & 5 years old.
        
                       Jockey  S. John, the rider of CHIEF'S  DREAM,  was 
                  fined  Rs.2,000/- for coming `in' sharply  and  causing 
                  interference to ALEJANDROS (Vinod Shinde) on his inside 
                  soon  after  the start and again approaching  the  1200 
                  Metres. 
          
                       Jockey  Mohammed Shoaib, the rider  of  ORPENDALE, 
                  was  fined  Rs.1,000/- for shifting `out'  and  causing 
                  interference  to AMAZING ONE (K.P.G. Appu) and  ALEJAN-
                  DROS (Vinod Shinde) on his outside approaching the 1200 
                  Metres. 
        
                       Jockey C.D. Hayes, the rider of STAFIRE, was fined 
                  Rs.1,000/-  for  the excessive use of the whip  on  his 
                  mount during the race (1st infringement). 
        
        6th Race:     44. The Bangalore Turf Club Trophy - (About)
         7 Runners    1200 Metres. 3-year-old and over  (Terms).
        
                       Jockey  Vivek,  the rider of MERCURIAL  was  fined 
                  Rs.5,000/- for coming `in' and causing interference  to 
                  HESPERUS (S.A. De Sousa) on his inside approaching  the 
                  900  Metres  and again for coming in and  causing  very 
                  severe  interference  to HESPERUS (S.A. De  Sousa)  ap-
                  proaching the 300 Metres.
        
                       Jockey  S.A. De Sousa, the rider of HESPERUS,  was 
                  fined Rs.1,000/- drifting out and causing  interference 
                  to JERSEY PRIDE (K.P.G. Appu) on his outside  approach-
                  ing the 200 Metres. 
        
                       Routine  Sample  was taken for analysis  from  the 
                  winner b f LADY ONE. 
        
        7th Race:     45. The Antaragange Plate - (About) 1400 Metres
        10 Runners    Horses rated 20 to 50, 4 & 5 years old.
                       Trainer  Mr.  Amit Caddy was  fined  Rs.500/-  for 
                  using  tongue strap on his charge SOUTH PARADE  without 
                  prior permission. Subsequently Tongue strap was removed 
                  from the horse before the start of the race. 
        
                       Jockey J.S. Gowli, the rider of A RUN TO REMEMBER, 
                  was  fined Rs.1,000/- for coming `in' and crowding  the 
                  horses on his inside namely LOOK ALIKE (Shobhan  Babu), 
                  GREAT  CHIEFTAN  (C. Krishnan) and RUNNING  MAN  (Vijay 
                  Kumar) soon after jumping out of the starting gates. 
        
                       Jockey  K.P.G. Appu, the rider of  ILLUSIVE  GIRL, 
                  was  fined  Rs.1,000/- for shifting `out'  and  causing 
                  interference to ORO NERO (Vinod Shinde) on his  outside 
                  passing the 200 Metres. 
        
                       Jockey  Vijay  Kumar, the rider  of  RUNNING  MAN, 
                  reported  that his mount was hanging `in'   during  the 
                  race.  Trainer Mr. M.P. Mahaesh was informed to get  it 
                  checked  by his Veterinarian and take appropriate  cor-
                  rective measures before accepting with it again. 
        
        8th Race:     46. The Huthari Festival Plate - (About) 1200
        11 Runners    Metres. Horses rated 20 to 50.
        
                       Permission was granted to trainer Mr. B. Prithvir-
                  aj to withdraw PROUD AS A PEACOCK on veterinary  ground 
                  as  it was lame on both hind due to sprained back.   He 
                  was informed to produce a Fitness Certificate from  the 
                  Club's  Veterinary  Officer before  accepting  with  it 
                  again. 
        
                       Trainer Mr. S. Inayathulla was fined Rs.500/-  for 
                  not using tongue strap on his charge ROYAL HERO for the 
                  use of which prior permission had been obtained. Subse-
                  quently  Tongue strap was put on to ROYAL  HERO  before 
                  the start of the race. 
        
                       DON  CHERRY (K.Gopal Rao) planted in the  starting 
                  gates and took no practical part in the race.  In  view 
                  of its behaviour,  Trainer Mr. S. Dominic was  informed 
                  that  he  must not accept with it again until  its  be-
                  haviour improved to the satisfaction of the Stipendiary 
                  Stewards  in  one Mock Race on a race day on  the  race 
                  track. 
        
                       Routine  Sample  was taken for analysis  from  the 
                  winner b f DOCK OF BAY.
