        1st Race:     78.The Gangavathi Trophy-Div.II-(About) 1200 Metres
         8 Runners    Maiden Indian Horses 2 years old only (Terms).
        
        Jockey  G.Y. Rajesh Babu, the rider of POKEMON  MASTER,  reported 
        that  his mount was inclined to run out after the start.  Trainer 
        Mr.  J. Babu Rao was informed to take appropriate remedial  meas-
        ures before accepting with it again. 
         
        Jockey  K.  Raja Rao was questioned regarding the riding  of  his 
        charge LUNARLUST in above race.  His explanations were noted. 
        
        Routine  Sample was taken for analysis from the winner b f  SPARK 
        OF ISIS.
        
        2nd Race:     79. The Bangarpet Plate-(About) 1200 Metres. Horses
        12 Runners    rated 00 to 30.
        
        Trainer  Mr. S. Britto was fined Rs.500/- for making an error  in 
        the  starting declaration in respect of his charge KING  OF  GOOD 
        TIMES as regards shoeing. 
        
        REPLENISH (Ahsan Qureshi) planted in the starting gates and  lost 
        many  lengths at the start. In view of its behaviour trainer  Mr. 
        Faraz Arshad was informed that he must  accept not with it  again 
        until its behaviour improved to the satisfaction of the Stipendi-
        ary Stewards in one Mock Race on a race day on the race track. 
        
        Jockey S.A.De Sousa, the rider of RETRO QUEEN, reported that  his 
        mount was hanging `in' during the final stages of the race.
        
        Jockey  S.A.De  Sousa,  the  rider  of  RETRO  QUEEN,  was  fined 
        Rs.1,000/- for the excessive use of the whip on his mount  during 
        the race (1st infringement).
        
        3rd Race:     80.The Gangavathi Trophy-Div.I-(About) 1200 Metres
         8 Runners    Maiden Indian Horses 2 years old only (Terms).
        
        Jockey Md. Shafiq the rider of SUPER SHA, was reprimanded in  the 
        presence of trainer Mr. Md. Khan for the delay in mounting in the 
        paddock. 
        
        Jockey Tony Farina,  the rider of SUNNY BABA was fined Rs.1,000/- 
        for  coming  `out' and causing interference  to  ANOTHER  DESTINY 
        (G.Y.  Rajesh Babu) on his outside soon after jumping out of  the 
        starting gates. 
        
        Jockey M. Ravi, the rider of MOST PREFERRED was fined  Rs.1,000/- 
        for coming `in' and causing interference to ANOTHER DESTINY (G.Y. 
        Rajesh Babu) on his inside approaching the 900 Metres. 
        
        Jockey  Md.  Shafiq, the rider of SUPER SHA,  reported  that  his 
        mount was running green during the race.  
        
        4th Race:     81. The Gomos Plate - (About) 1100 Metres. Horses
        10 Runners    rated 20 to 50.
        
        Trainer Mr. N.A. Ponnappa was fined Rs.500/- for making an  error 
        in the starting declaration in respect of his charge LIVING  FREE 
        (Md. Shoaib) as regards the allowance claimed by the rider.
        
        Trainer  Mr.  S. Inayathulla  was fined Rs.500/-  for  making  an 
        error  in the starting declaration in respect of his charge  GOOD 
        COMPANION  as regards shoeing.
        
        Jockey S. Shiva Kumar, the rider of SIMPLY DANGEROUS, was  repri-
        manded  for  not maintaining a straight course in  the  last  300 
        Metres. 
        
        MARIANELLA (Vinod Shinde) burst its blood vessels after the race.  
        Trainer  Mr.  Irfan  Ghatala was informed to  produce  a  Fitness 
        Certificate  from the Club's Veterinary Officer before  accepting 
        with it again. 
        
        GOOD COMPANION (Vivek) sustained an injury on right hind fetlock. 
        
        LIVING  FREE (Mahammed Shoiab) sustained an injury on  left  hind 
        pastern.  
        
        5th Race:     82. The Nelamangala Plate - (About) 1400 Metres.
        12 Runners    Horses rated 20 to 50, 4 and 5 years old.
        
        The bit used on ILLUSIVE GIRL broke before the start of the race. 
        Hence it was replaced at the gates. On examination of the  equip-
        ment  after the race,  it was  observed to be otherwise not  well 
        maintained  and  as  such  Trainer Mr.  Warren  Singh  was  fined 
        Rs.2,000/- for using an unserviceable equipment.
        
        Jockey  K.P.G. Appu, the rider of FREE GLIDER, reported  that  he 
        could  not  get a clear run approaching the 900 Metres due  to  a 
        tightly packed field. 
        
        LONGITUDE  (R.  Ravi) pulled up lame on left fore.   Trainer  Mr. 
        Faraz  Arshad was informed to produce a Fitness Certificate  from 
        the Club's Veterinary Officer before accepting with it again. 
        
        Jockey Vinod Shinde, the rider of BRAVE BHEEM, reported that  his 
        mount  was hanging `out' throughout the race.  Trainer Mr.  Samar 
        Singh was informed to get it checked by his Veterinarian and take 
        appropriate corrective measures before accepting with it again. 
        
        Jockey  Gaurav Sapra, the rider of ILLUSIVE GIRL,  reported  that 
        his  mount  was  hanging `in' throughout the  race.  Trainer  Mr. 
        Warren  Singh was informed to get it checked by his  Veterinarian 
        and take appropriate corrective measures before accepting with it 
        again. 
        
        Jockey  Ahsan  Qureshi,  the rider of MAC,  was  reprimanded  for 
        dropping his hands before passing the winning post. 
        
        FREE  GLIDER  (K.P.G.  Appu) sustained an injury  on  right  hind 
        pastern. 
        
        6th Race:     83. The Karnataka Police Trophy - (About) 1400 
         6 Runners    Metres. Horses rated 80 and above.
         
        Jockey  S.  John,  the  rider of  STONE  OF  DESTINY,  was  fined 
        Rs.1,000/- for the excessive use of the whip on his mount  during 
        the race (1st infringement).
        
        Routine  Sample  was taken for analysis from the winner  b  c  MY 
        TURN.
        
        7th Race:     84. The Capt. H.D.Fownes Memorial Plate-(About) 
        12  Runners    1600 Metres. Horses rated 40 to 70, 4 and 5  years
                      old.
        
        Trainer  Mr. R.R. Byramji was fined Rs.500/- for failing to  pro-
        duce the declared colours at the scales in respect of his  charge 
        SIEZE  THE NIGHT (Ryan Marshall). Subsequently `all black'  emer-
        gency colours were permitted to be used. 
        
        Jockey  Vijay Kumar, the rider of LIFES LAUGHTER,  reported  that 
        his mount accidentally clipped the heels of SIEZE THE NIGHT (Ryan 
        Marshall)  and  got momentarily unbalanced approaching  the  1400 
        Metres.
        
        Trainer Mr. R.R. Byramji and Jockey Ryan Marshall were questioned 
        regarding  the  running and riding of SIEZE THE NIGHT  and  their 
        explanations were noted. 
        
        8th Race:    85. The Badami Plate - (About) 1400 Metres. Horses
        10 Runners    rated 40 to 70.
        
        Trainer  Mr. R.R. Byramji was fined Rs.500/- for failing to  pro-
        duce the declared colours at the scales in respect of his  charge 
        MANGALYA  PRARAMBH.  Subsequently `all black'  emergency  colours 
        were permitted to be used. 
        
        Permission  was  granted to trainer Mr. M.P.Mahaesh  to  withdraw 
        RAIDER'S RUN (K.P.G. Appu) on veterinary ground as it was lame on 
        right fore due to inflamed tendon.  He was informed that he  must 
        produce a Fitness Certificate from the Club's Veterinary  Officer 
        before accepting with it again.  
        
        Routine Sample was taken for analysis from the winner b g  MANGA-
        LYA PRARAMBH.
