1st Race: 70. The Krishnarajapuram Plate-(About) 1400 Metres.
9 Runners Horses rated 00 to 30, 4 and 5 years old.
As Jockey Gaurav Sapra was certified medically unfit to ride,
permission was granted to trainer Mr. V. Lokanath to substitute
Jockey K. Narasimha to ride CASHFIRSTTICKETNEXT in place of
Jockey Gaurav Sapra, the declared rider.
As Jockey P. Kamlesh could not arrive to fulfill his riding
engagement for the day, permission was granted to trainer Mr.B.
Puttanna to substitute Jockey Imran Chisty to ride CHOYA in
place of Jockey P. Kamlesh, the declared rider.
Jockey K.P.G. Appu, the rider of CINDY GIRL, was reprimanded for
not maintaining a proper course approaching the 900 Metres
thereby coming in and tightening GIRL NEXT DOOR (Suraj Narredu)
and PACIFIC PRIDE (S. Babu) on the inside.
OKINAWA (Faraz Waheed) pulled up lame on right fore after the
race. Trainer Mr. G. Nityanand was informed that he must produce
a Fitness Certificate from the Club's Veterinary Officer before
accepting with it again.
Jockey S. Babu, the rider of PACIFIC PRIDE, could not get a clear
run approaching the 900 Metres due to a tightly packed field.
Jockey S. Rajesh, the rider of ROYAL FILLY, was reprimanded for
not maintaining a proper course while rounding the final bend.
Jockey S. Babu, the rider of PACIFIC PRIDE, was fined Rs.3,000/-
for the excessive use of whip on his mount during the race (2nd
infringement).
2nd Race: 71. The Vidurashtwatha Plate - (About) 2000 Metres.
7 Runners Horses rated 20 to 50.
Jockey B.L. Paswan, the rider of SHISHAM, was fined Rs.2,000/-for
coming `in' causing severe interference to PLUM PUDDING (J.H.
Christopher) and ANGEL FIELD (Vijay Kumar) on his inside within
100 Metres of the start.
Jockey C.D. Hayes, the rider of AGASSIZ, was reprimanded for
looking back during the last 200 Metres for no apparent reason.
3rd Race: 72. The Sovereign Crown Plate-Div.II - (About) 1200
8 Runners Metres. Horses rated 20 to 50.
Trainer Mr. M.P. Mahaesh was fined Rs.2,000/- was fined
Rs.2,000/- for his negligence in not reporting about his charge
PLATINUM DREAMS having been gelded earlier.
Permission was granted to trainer Mr. M. Eshwer to withdraw BLISS
as he could not find a suitable substitute rider in place of
Jockey Gaurav Sapra.
Jockey Vivek, the rider of MYSTIC STAR was fined Rs.1,000/- for
coming `in' and inconveniencing LIVE IT UP (Ryan Marshall) on his
inside approaching the 300 Metres.
Jockey V. Selvaraj, the rider of BEE THE STAR, was reprimanded
in the presence of Trainer Mr. Irfan Ghatala for easing his mount
in the 200 Metres and for repeatedly looking back. He was fur-
ther cautioned to desist from repeating this undesirable prac-
tice.
Routine Sample was taken for analysis from the winner ch f BEE
THE STAR.
4th Race: 73. The Dr.P.Paramashivaiah Memorial Plate-(About)
8 Runners 1200 Metres. Horses rated 40 to 70, 5 years old
only.
Permission was granted to trainer Mr. V. Lokanath to substitute
Jockey Imran Chisty to ride JAZZ DANCER in place of Jockey P.
Kamlesh, the declared rider.
Routine Sample was taken for analysis from the winner dkb g INDIA
SHINING.
5th Race: 74. The Saptharishi Cup - (About) 1400 Metres.
12 Runners Horses rated 60 to 90.
As Jockey D.M. Grant could not arrive to fulfill his riding
engagement for the day, permission was granted to trainer Mr. S.
Padmanabhan to substitute Jockey K.P.G. Appu to ride PERFECT
TRIBUTE in place of Jockey D.M. Grant, the declared rider.
Permission was granted to trainer Mr. S. Narredu to substitute
Jockey R. Koch to ride HEROINES BEAUTY in place of Jockey Gaurav
Sapra, the declared rider.
Trainer Mr. Irfan Ghatala was fined Rs.500/- for making an error
in the starting declaration in respect of his charge FEELFREE as
regards shoeing.
Jockey M. Ravi, the rider of ASSERT THE RIGHT, was reprimanded
for not exercising sufficient control over his mount whereby he
brushed the false rails passing the 1200 Metres.
Jockey K.P.G. Appu, the rider of PERFECT TRIBUTE reported that
his saddle shifted over the withers within about 200 Metres for
the start whereby he could not offer sufficient assistance to his
mount thereafter. After examination of the equipment after the
race, trainer Mr. S. Padmanabhan was fined Rs.2,000/- for faulty
saddling.
6th Race: 75. The Ashoka Chakra Cup - (About) 1400 Metres.
8 Runners 3-year-old Indian Horses (Foaled in 2004) (Terms).
Permission was granted to trainer Mr. S. Padmanabhan to substi-
tute Jockey C.D. Hayes to ride WESTERN COMMAND in place of Jockey
D.M. Grant the declared rider.
Jockey C.D. Hayes, the rider of WESTERN COMMAND, was fined
Rs.3,000/- for the excessive use of the whip on his mount during
the race (2nd infringement).
Jockey J.H. Christopher, the rider of MYSTIFIED, was fined
Rs.3,000/- for the excessive use of the whip on his mount during
the race (2nd infringement).
Routine Sample was taken for analysis from the winner b g SOBERA-
NO.
7th Race: 76. The Sovereign Crown Plate -Div.I - (About) 1200
8 Runners Metres. Horses rated 20 to 50.
Trainer Mr. S.K. Habib Khan was fined Rs.10,000/- by the Stewards
for failing to declare his charge CRACKERJACK to start for this
race after having accepted with it.
Permission was granted to trainer Mr. M. Eshwer to withdraw
STANZA STARRY as he could not find a suitable substitute rider
for Jockey Gaurav Sapra.
Jockey G. Adaresh, the rider of MASURATHI, was reprimanded for
not maintaining a straight course soon after the start.
8th Race: 77. The Kentucky Plate - (About) 1100 Metres.
12 Runners Maiden Indian Horses 2 years old only (Terms).
Jockey Vivek, the rider of JUST GREAT, was reprimanded for not
maintaining a straight course soon after the start.
Jockey Tauseef Ahmed, the rider of LUMINOUS GOLD was reprimanded
for not maintaining a straight course soon after the start.
Jockey Suraj Narredu, the rider of SPLENDID POWER, was fined
Rs.1,000/- for coming `in' and causing interference to ATTATURK
(C.D. Hayes) on his inside approaching the final 150 Metres.
