        1st Race:     86. The Bhatkal Plate-Div.II-(About) 1100 Metres.
         8 Runners    Maiden Indian Horses 2 years old only (Terms).
        
                       Jockey  Harish,  the  rider of  ANNA'S  QUEST  was 
                  reprimanded for the delay in mounting the horse in  the 
                  paddock.
        
                       Routine  Sample  was taken for analysis  from  the 
                  winner ch f ORIGINALITY.
        
        2nd Race:    87. The Jog Cup - (About) 2000 Metres. Horses rated 
         6 Runners    60 to 90.
        
                       Permission was granted to trainer Mr. R.R. Byramji 
                  to withdraw PRET A PORTE (Ryan Marshall) on  veterinary 
                  grounds  as it was lame on left fore due  to  inflammed 
                  hoof.   He was informed that he must produce a  Fitness 
                  Certificate  from the Club's Veterinary Officer  before 
                  accepting with it again.
        
                       Jockey  Colm O'Donoghue, the rider of SOUTH  STAR, 
                  was fined Rs.1,000/- for the excessive use of the  whip 
                  on his mount during the race (1st infringement).
        
                       Trainer  Mr. J.S. Dhariwal and Jockey  C.D.  Hayes 
                  were  questioned  regarding the running and  riding  of 
                  ARABIAN  KNIGHT in the above race.  Jockey stated  that 
                  he did not get a clear run immediately after the  start 
                  and  also  stated  that  his  mount  was  hanging  `in' 
                  throughout the race. The trainer corroborated the above 
                  statement.  Their explanations were noted. Trainer  Mr. 
                  J.S. Dhariwal was informed to get his charge checked by 
                  his Veterinarian and take appropriate remedial measures 
                  before accepting with it again. 
        
        3rd Race:    88. The Kanchanaganga Plate - (About) 1100 Metres.
         9 Runners    Horses rated 00 to 30.
        
                       BUCK PASSER JUNIOR (M.J. Gautam Raj Urs) could not 
                  get  a  clear run approaching the 900 Metres due  to  a 
                  tightly packed field.                                 
        
                       Jockey  S.A.De Sousa, the rider of MAAHI  VE,  was 
                  fined  Rs.3,000/- for the excessive use of the whip  on 
                  his mount during the race (2nd infringement).
        
                       Jockey K. Raja Rao, the rider of STAR ROYALTY, was 
                  fined  Rs.1,000/- for the excessive use of the whip  on 
                  his mount during the race (1st infringement).
        
        4th Race:    89. The Krishnaraja Trophy - (About) 1200 Metres.
         7 Runners    Horses rated 80 and above.
        
                       STYLISH BAY (R. Koch) jumped out awkwardly  incon-
                  veniencing UPPER CRUST (Ranjeet Singh) on the outside.
        
                       DIAMOND  HUNTER  (K.P.G.  Appu)  burst  its  blood 
                  vessels  during  the race.  Trainer Mr. M.  Eshwer  was 
                  informed  to  produce a Fitness  Certificate  from  the 
                  Club's  Veterinary  Officer before  accepting  with  it 
                  again. 
        
                       Routine  Sample  was taken for analysis  from  the 
                  winner b f UPPER CRUST.
        
        5th Race:     90. The Yadavagiri Plate-(About) 1600 Metres. 
         7 Runners    Horses rated 40 to 70.
        
                       Trainer Mr. Irfan Ghatala was fined Rs.10,000/- by 
                  the Stewards for Contravention of the General Condition 
                  5 of the Prospectus of Bngalore Winter Meeting  2007-08 
                  in  accepting  his charge EVER SO CLEVER in  the  above 
                  race  today and also for the next day i.e.  29-12-2007.  
                  Subsequently it was not declared to start in the  above 
                  race. 
        
                       SCIMITAR  (C.D. Hayes) was very fractious  on  the 
                  way to the starting gates, dislodged the rider and  ran 
                  riderless  towards the stable area. Hence it was  with-
                  drawn before coming under Starter's orders. 
        
                       Jockey  Colm  O'Donoghue, the  rider  of  SOUTHERN 
                  CHIEFTAN,  placed  2nd by the  Judge  objected  against 
                  Jockey  S.A. De Sousa, the rider of BLINK,  placed  1st 
                  for "in the last furlong, the winner drifted out block-
                  ing my way for which I had to switch inside which  cost 
                  me  a  certain  race".  The Stewards  held  an  enquiry 
                  immediately after the race and interviewed the  Jockeys 
                  concerned.  After deliberation, the Stewards decided to 
                  overrule the objection. 
        
                       Jockey  S.A.  De Sousa, the rider  of  BLINK,  was 
                  fined Rs.3,000/- for not maintaining a straight  course 
                  in the last 250 Metres.
        
        6th Race:     91. The Bhatkal Plate - Div.I-(About) 1100 Metres.
         8 Runners    Maiden Indian Horses 2 years old only (Terms).
        
                       Jockey  K. Narasimha, the rider of BLUSHING  BEAM, 
                  was  fined Rs.5,000/- for not making sufficient  effort 
                  on his mount during the race.
        
                       WALTER (C. Krishnan) ran detached from the  field.  
                  Trainer Mr. B. Puttanna was informed  to ensure  better 
                  performance of his charge in future. 
        
                       Routine  Sample  was taken for analysis  from  the 
                  winner b g SPECIAL GESTURE.
