        1st  Race:     54.The Haveri Plate-Div.II - (About) 1200  Metres.
         8 Runners    Maiden Indian Horses 2 years old only (Terms).
        
                       Jockey  B. Prakash, the rider of FANTASTIC  QUEST, 
                  reported  that  he lost his whip  approaching  the  100 
                  Metres.
        
                       Jockey  K. Narasimha, the rider of DESIRE TO  DAZ-
                  ZLE,  was severely reprimanded for dropping  his  hands 
                  before passing the winning post. 
        
                       Routine  Sample  was taken for analysis  from  the 
                  winner b f INSPIRING TRUST. 
        
        2nd Race:    55. The Planetarium Plate-(About) 1600 Metres.
         8  Runners    Horses rated 00 to 30.
        
                       As  Jockey D. Gnaneshwar was  certified  medically 
                  unfit  to ride, permission was granted to  trainer  Mr. 
                  Neil  Darashah  to substitute Jockey Ryan  Marshall  to 
                  ride LATIN TWISTER in place of Jockey D. Gnaneshwar the 
                  declared rider. 
        
                       Jockey A.R. Mani, the rider of GLOBAL TYCOON,  was 
                  fined  Rs.2,000/- for coming `in' sharply  and  causing 
                  interference to PRINCESS TAARA (V. Sunil Kumar) on  his 
                  inside  approaching  the 1000 Metres  whereby  PRINCESS 
                  TAARA  (V. Sunil Kumar) collided with the  false  rails 
                  and the right stirrup broke and the Jockey had to  ride 
                  out  without  the aid of the equipment  thereafter  and 
                  could not offer any assistance to his mount. 
        
        3rd Race:     56.The Haveri Plate-Div.I - (About) 1200 Metres.
         8 Runners    Maiden Indian Horses 2 years old only (Terms).
        
                       Jockey  Vivek,  the rider of JOIN THE  PARTY,  was 
                  reprimanded  for  shifting  `out'  and  inconveniencing 
                  SPIRITED PLAYER (Y.S. Srinath) on his outside approach-
                  ing the 800 Metres. 
        
                       Jockey Md. Shafiq, the rider of RARE AND PRECIOUS, 
                  was  reprimanded for coming `in'  and   inconveniencing 
                  SPIRITED PLAYER (Y.S. Srinath) on his inside  approach-
                  ing the 350 Metres.
        
                       Jockey K. Raja Rao, the rider of VALIANT BAY,  was 
                  fined  Rs.3,000/- for not making sufficient  effort  on 
                  his mount during the race. 
                        
        4th Race:    57. The Sirsi Plate -Div.II-(About) 1100 Metres.
        11 Runners    Horses rated 20 to 50.
        
                       GAMPU  (G. Adarsh) planted at the  starting  gates 
                  and  lost  many lengths at the start. In  view  of  its 
                  behaviour trainer Mr. M.P. Mahaesh was informed that he 
                  must  not  accept  with it again  until  its  behaviour 
                  improved  to the satisfaction of the  Stipendiary  Ste-
                  wards in one Mock Race on a race day on the race track.
        
                       Surprise  Sample was taken for analysis from  b  f 
                  TRUE CONFIDENCE.
        
                       Routine  Sample  was taken for analysis  from  the 
                  winner b g CANNAVARO. 
        
        5th Race:     58. The Royal Calcutta Turf Club Trophy-(About)
         8 Runners    1600 Metres. Horses rated 80 and above.
        
                       Jockey  K.P.G. Appu, the rider of  EXCLUSIVE  GES-
                  TURE,  reported  that  his  mount  was  hanging   `out' 
                  throughout  the  race.  Trainer Mr.  Mahmood  Khan  was 
                  informed to take appropriate corrective measures before 
                  accepting with it again. 
        
                       Jockey  Gaurav  Sapra, the rider of  TALK  OF  THE 
                  DEVIL was fined Rs.3,000/- for the excessive use of the 
                  whip on his mount during the race (2nd infringement).
        
                       Surprise  Sample was taken for analysis from  b  g 
                  STORM REGENT.
        
                       Routine  Sample  was taken for analysis  from  the 
                  winner b g LIONHEART. 
        
        6th Race:     59. The Belgaum Plate - (About) 1400 Metres. 
         8 Runners    Horses rated 40 to 70.
        
                       CIMARRON (C.D. Hayes) was withdrawn before  coming 
                  under  Starter's Order as it was fractious and  refused 
                  to  be  stalled.  Trainer Mr. S.S. Attaollahi  was  in-
                  formed that he must not accept with it again until  its 
                  behaviour improved to the satisfaction of the Stipendi-
                  ary Stewards in one Mock Race on a race day on the race 
                  track. 
        
                       Trainer Mr. Karan Singh was fined Rs.500/- for not 
                  using tongue strap on his charge REMARKABLE STRIDE  for 
                  the  use of which prior  permission had been  obtained. 
                  Subsequently tongue strap was put on REMARKABLE  STRIDE 
                  before the start of the race. 
        
                       OCEAN  CREST was reported to have burst its  blood 
                  vessels  after the race. Trainer Mr. J.S. Dhariwal  was 
                  informed  that  he must produce a  Fitness  Certificate 
                  from  the  Club's Veterinary Officer  before  accepting 
                  with it again. 
        
                       Jockey  B.  Prakash was questioned  regarding  the 
                  riding on his mount MYSTIFIED and his explanations were 
                  noted. 
        
        7th Race:     60. The Harvins Bangalore 2000 Guineas (Grade II) 
         7 Runners    (About) 1600 Metres. For 3-year-old Indian Horses
                      (Foaled in 2004) (Terms).
        
                       ROYAL  AMBASSADOR  (K.P.G. Appu)  planted  in  the 
                  starting  gates and lost many lengths. In view  of  its 
                  behaviour  Trainer Mr. Amit Caddy was informed that  he 
                  must  not  accept  with it again  until  its  behaviour 
                  improved  to the satisfaction of the  Stipendiary  Ste-
                  wards in one Mock Race on a race day on the race track.
        
                       Jockey Vincent Colgan, the rider of VANQUISH,  was 
                  fined  Rs.1,000/- for the excessive use of the whip  on 
                  his  mount during the race (1st infringement) and  also 
                  was  reprimanded  for improper use of the whip  on  his 
                  mount. 
        
                       Compulsory  Samples were taken for  analysis  from 
                  the following I, II and III placed horses viz:

        8th Race:     61. The Davangere Plate - (About) 1800 Metres.
         9 Runners    Horses rated 20 to 50, 4 and 5 years old.
        
                       Jockey  C.  Krishnan, the rider of SUN  ZONE,  was 
                  severely  reprimanded  for not maintaining  a  straight 
                  course  approaching the 1400 Metres.
        
                       Jockey  Faisal M Ismail, the rider of BROTHERS  IN 
                  ARMS  reported that his mount was accidentally  clipped 
                  by WILE WENCH (Gaurav Sapra) during the race. 
        
                       BROTHERS  IN  ARMS (Faisal M Ismail)  sustained  a 
                  bleeding cut injury on right fore fetlock. 
        
                       MISTER TROOPER (P. Krishna) sustained a cut injury 
                  on left hind fetlock and right hind tendon.
        
        9th Race:    62. The Sirsi Plate - Div.I - (About) 1100 Metres.
        11 Runners    Horses rated 20 to 50.
        
                       Jockey  Faraz,  the  rider  of  FANAA  was   fined 
                  Rs.1,000/-  for shifting `in' and causing  interference 
                  to  ZAIOS (Vivek) immediately after jumping out of  the 
                  starting gates. 
        
                       Jockey C. Krishnan, the rider of MOVIE QUEEN,  was 
                  fined  Rs.1,000/-  for  travelling  wide  rounding  the 
                  final bend for no apparent reason.
        
                       Jockey  Gaurav  Sapra, the rider of  BAFFLED,  was 
                  fined Rs.2,000/- for coming `in' and causing  interfer-
                  ence to MAAHIVE (C.D. Hayes) on his inside  approaching 
                  the 150 Metres.

        Trainer Mr. Arjun Mangalorkar was fined a total sum of Rs.3,000/- 
        for  making an error in discharging his duties as a trainer  with 
        regard to submission of scratching forms in respect of his charg-
        es  ONE  (The Haveri Plate & The Dharwar Plate),  CARTWHEEL  (The 
        Haveri  Plate & The Dharwar Plate) and INDIAN SWIFT (The  Parfait 
        Amour Plate & The Bugs Bunny Trophy).
