        1st Race:     174. The Longchamp Plate - (About) 2200 Metres. 
         5 Runners    Horses rated 20 to 50.
        
                       It  was observed that the right fore shoe  of  AL-
                  LEYESONME (Y.S. Srinath) had apparently splayed  during 
                  the race. 
        
                       Routine  Sample  was taken for analysis  from  the 
                  winner b g POWER PUNCH.
        
        2nd Race:     175. The Talakaveri Plate - (About) 1100 Metres. 
        12 Runners    Maiden Indian horses 3 years old only (Terms). 
        
                       Trainer  Mr.  V. Lokanath was fined  Rs.500/-  for 
                  making an error in the starting declaration in  respect 
                  of his charge IMPERIAL APPLAUSE as regards shoeing. 
        
                       BUFFALO  ON RAIL (Shakti Singh) veered  out  badly 
                  after jumping out of the starting gates. The horse  was 
                  impounded for veterinary examination and the Veterinary 
                  Officer  reported that on examination it was  found  to 
                  have  sharp  molars  on either sides.  Trainer  Mr.  G. 
                  Nityanand  was  informed to take  appropriate  remedial 
                  measures before accepting with it again. 
        
                       Jockey  Md.  Shafiq, the rider of  TALL  GUY,  was 
                  fined Rs.1,000/- for coming `in' and causing  interfer-
                  ence  to  DIFFERENT  OPINION (R. Koch)  on  his  inside 
                  approaching the 400 Metres. 
        
                       Jockey  D.  Mahendran,  the rider  of  THE  ROLLS, 
                  reported  that  his mount grabbed the bit on  the  left 
                  side and drifted out passing the 1000 Metres. The horse 
                  was  impounded for veterinary examination and  the  Ve-
                  terinary  Officer reported that on examination  it  was 
                  found to have wolf tooth. Trainer Mr. Sharat Kumar  was 
                  informed  to take appropriate remedial measures  before 
                  accepting with it again. 
        
        3rd Race:     176. The Shravanabelagola Plate - Div.II- (About)   
         9 Runners    1200 Metres. Horses rated 40 to 70.
        
                       Jockey  S. John, the rider of AN EQUAL MUSIC,  was 
                  fined Rs.1,000/- for dropping hands before passing  the 
                  winning post. 
        
                       Jockey  Y.S.  Srinath, the rider of  REFRESH,  was 
                  fined Rs.2,000/- for coming `in' and causing  interfer-
                  ence  to  GUN  FIRE (S. Chandrashekar)  which  in  turn 
                  passed  it  on  to DOCK OF BAY (Vinod  Shinde)  on  his 
                  inside approaching the 1000 Metres. 
        
        
        4th Race:     177. The Bull Temple Trophy  - (About) 1400 Metres. 
         8 Runners    Horses rated 60 to 90.
        
                       Jockey  Md. Shafiq, the rider of MADAM  RICH,  re-
                  ported  that his mount was hanging out  throughout  the 
                  race.  Trainer Mr. B. Prithviraj was informed  to  take 
                  appropriate remedial measures before accepting with  it 
                  again. 
        
                       Trainer Mr. R.R. Byramji and Jockey Ryan  Marshall 
                  were  questioned  regarding the running and  riding  of 
                  PRET  A  PORTE in the above race. The  horse  was  kept 
                  under  observation. On examination it was found  to  be 
                  trotting  lame  on left fore due  to  sprained  fetlock 
                  joint.  Trainer Mr. R.R. Byramji was informed  that  he 
                  must  produce  a Fitness Certificate  from  the  Club's 
                  Veterinary Officer before accepting with it again. 
        
                       SOBERANO  (Vinod Shinde) burst its  blood  vessels 
                  after the race. Trainer Mr. Irfan Ghatala was  informed 
                  that  he  must produce a Fitness Certificate  from  the 
                  Club's  Veterinary  Officer before  accepting  with  it 
                  again. 
        
                       Routine  Sample  was taken for analysis  from  the 
                  winner ch g FLAMING LAMBORGINI.
        
        5th Race:     178. The Shravanabelagola Plate - Div.I- (About)   
         9 Runners    1200 Metres. Horses rated 40 to 70.
        
                       Jockey  Faraz Waheed, the rider of  NEEDOFTHEHOUR, 
                  was fined Rs.2,000/- for not persevering with his mount 
                  during the race. 
        
        6th Race:     179. The Siddaganga Plate - (About) 1600 Metres.  
        11 Runners    Horses rated 40 to 70, 5 and 6 years old.
        
                       Trainer  Mr. Mahmood Khan was fined  Rs.500/-  for 
                  making an error in the starting declaration in  respect 
                  of his charge SERIOUS WARRIOR as regards shoeing. 
        
                       ALGIERS  (J.H. Christopher) was  withdrawn  before 
                  coming under Starter's Order as the horse was found  to 
                  be  trotting lame on left fore due to sprained  fetlock 
                  joint.  Trainer Mr. M.B. Mangalorkar was informed  that 
                  he  must produce a Fitness Certificate from the  Club's 
                  Veterinary Officer before accepting with it again.
        
        7th Race:     180. The Jayanagar Plate - (About) 1800 Metres.    
        10 Runners    Horses rated 00 to 30.
        
                       Trainer  Mr. Hidayat Khan was fined  Rs.500/-  for 
                  making an error in the starting declaration in  respect 
                  of  his charge VALID BID in regard to  claiming  allow-
                  ance.  
        
                       Jockey  Md.  Shafiq, the rider of PRETTY  N  FAST, 
                  reported  that  his mount was hanging `in'  during  the 
                  final  stages  of the race. In view  of  its  behaviour 
                  trainer  Mr. B. Prithviraj was informed to use  an  eye 
                  patch as the filly was blind on right eye. 
        
                       Trainer  Mr. Hidayat Khan and Jockey S. John  were 
                  questioned  regarding the running and riding  of  VALID 
                  BID in the above race.  Their explanations were noted.
        
                       ROYAL FILLY (S. Rajesh) sustained a gum injury. 
        
                       Routine  Sample  was taken for analysis  from  the 
                  winner b m NEW PASTURES.

        deputise  on behalf of trainers M/s.  S. Britto and  J. Babu  Rao  
        respectively who were unable to attend the races.
