        1st Race:     181. The Infants Plate - Div.II - (About) 1200   
        10 Runners    Metres. Maiden Indian horses 3 years old only
                      (Terms) 
        
                       Jockey S. Babu, the rider of ASIATIC BOY, reported 
                  that  his mount was inclined to run out throughout  the 
                  race.  The horse was impounded for veterinary  examina-
                  tion.  The Veterinary Officer after examination report-
                  ed that it was found to have sharp molars on both sides 
                  of  the jaws. Trainer Mr. Karan Singh was  informed  to 
                  get  checked by his Veterinarian and  take  appropriate 
                  corrective measures before accepting with it again.
        
                       UNIQUE  DIAMOND (K. Narasimha) ran  detached  from 
                  the  field.  Trainer Mr. R.V. Manohar  was  advised  to 
                  ensure better performance of his charge in future. 
        
                       Jockey B. Prakash, the rider of NOBLE KINGDOM, was 
                  fined  Rs.1,000/- for the excessive use of the whip  on 
                  his mount during the race (1st infringement).  
        
        2nd Race:     182. The Infants Plate - Div.I - (About) 1200   
         9 Runners    Metres. Maiden Indian horses 3 years old only
                      (Terms) 
        
                       Jockey  K. Raja Rao, the rider of MOST  PREFERRED, 
                  was  fined  Rs.1,000/-  for  travelling  wide  in   the 
                  straight for no apparent reason. 
        
                       Jockey K. Narasimha, the rider of SPIRITED  ANGEL, 
                  was fined Rs.2,000/- for coming `in' and causing inter-
                  ference  to  OTTAWA (Vinod Shinde) on  his  inside  ap-
                  proaching the 300 Metres. 
        
                       Jockey  B.  Prakash, the rider  of  LUCKY  MASCOT, 
                  reported  that his mount was not galloping fluently  in 
                  the final 200 Metres of the race. It was impounded  for 
                  veterinary examination, but no abnormality was  report-
                  ed. 
        
                       Routine  Sample  was taken for analysis  from  the 
                  winner b c VALID EXPECTATION.
        
        3rd Race:     183. The Sivaganga Plate -  (About) 1400 Metres. 
        10 Runners    Horses rated 20 to 50.
        
                       Trainer  Mr. B. Prithviraj was fined Rs.500/-  for 
                  making an error in the starting declaration in  respect 
                  of his charge CASINO ROYAL as regards shoeing. 
        
                       As Jockey A. Velu was certified medically unfit to 
                  ride,  permission was granted to trainer Mr.Amit  Caddy 
                  to  substitute Jockey P. Mani to ride SMART  COLLECTION 
                  in place of Jockey A. Velu, the declared rider. 
                       
                       Jockey K. Raja Rao, the rider of QUEENS  COMPOSER, 
                  was  fined Rs.2,000/- for shifting `out'   and  causing 
                  interference to TOUCH OF PARADISE (S. Chandrashekar) on 
                  his  outside  which in turn passed it on to  HARD  CASH 
                  (Vivek) approaching the 1000 Metres. 
        
                       QUEENS  COMPOSER  was  impounded  for   veterinary 
                  examination.  The Veterinary Officer after  examination 
                  reported that it was found to have sharp molars on both 
                  upper and lower jaws.  Trainer Karan Singh was informed 
                  to get checked by his Veterinarian and take appropriate 
                  corrective measures before accepting with it again.
        
                       Trainer  Mr. Amit Caddy was  questioned  regarding 
                  the running of his charge SMART COLLECTION in the above 
                  race.  He was informed to ensure better performance  in 
                  future.
        
                       Trainer Mr. Irfan Ghatala was questioned regarding 
                  the  running of his charge MANTHARA in the  above  race 
                  and his explanations were noted.
        
                       MANTHARA (Vinod Shinde) sustained a cut injury  on 
                  left hind cannon. 
        
        4th Race:     184. The Governor's Trophy-(About) 1600 Metres. 
         4 Runners    3 year old Indian Horses (Foaled in 2005) (Terms).
        
                       NIL
        
        5th Race:    185. The Rangarajan Memorial Trophy - (About) 1200
         8 Runners    Metres. Horses rated 80 and above 
        
                       AURA  (D. Gnaneshwar) planted and took no part  in 
                  the  race. In view of its behaviour trainer Mr.  Sriram 
                  Komandur  was informed that he must not accept with  it 
                  again until its behaviour improved to the  satisfaction 
                  of  the Stipendiary Stewards in two Mock Races on  race 
                  days on the race track. 
        
                       Routine  Sample  was taken for analysis  from  the 
                  winner b h HESPERUS. 
        
        6th Race:     186. The Bhagamandala Plate - (About) 1400 Metres. 
        12 Runners     Horses rated 40 to 70.
        
                       As  Jockey  Shobhan Babu was  certified  medically 
                  unfit  to ride, permission was granted to  trainer  Mr. 
                  Darius  Byramji to substitute Jockey D.  Gnaneshwar  to 
                  ride  ORIENTATION in place of Jockey Shobhan Babu,  the 
                  declared rider.
                        
                       Jockey  K.P.G.Appu, the rider of LORD OF  ILLUSION 
                  was  fined 1000/- for shifting `in' and causing  severe 
                  interference to SCIMITAR (Ryan Marshall) which in  turn 
                  passed it on to FINAL DEPOSIT (Vinod Shinde) soon after 
                  the start.
        
                       HAKUNA  MATATA (Nasir Imam) jumped awkwardly  out-
                  wards  thereby  inconvenienced  FINAL  DEPOSIT   (Vinod 
                  Shinde) on the far side. 
        
                       Jockey  D.  Mahendran,  the rider of  PROUD  AS  A 
                  PEACOCK was fined Rs.2,000/- for negotiating the  final 
                  bend wide and for dropping his hands before passing the 
                  winning post. 
        
                       Routine  Sample  was taken for analysis  from  the 
                  winner b g MYSTIFIED. 
        
        7th Race:     187. The  Alchemy Plate - (About) 1200 Metres.  
         9 Runners    Horses rated 20 to 50.
        
                       EVENT HORIZON (Vivek) was withdrawn before  coming 
                  under  Starter's  Order as the horse was  found  to  be 
                  trotting  lame  on right fore due to  sprained  fetlock 
                  joint.  Trainer Mr. G. Nityanand was informed  that  he 
                  must  produce  a Fitness Certificate  from  the  Club's 
                  Veterinary Officer before accepting with it again.
        
                       NICE GUY (D. Mahendran) was permitted to be  with-
                  drawn before coming under Starter's Order as the  horse 
                  bolted on the outer sand track and completed one  round 
                  of the course before reaching the starting gates.
        
                       Jockey  C. Krishnan, the rider of SUPER SONIC  was 
                  fined  Rs.5,000/-  for shifting `in' and  causing  very 
                  severe  interference  to CHAR CHAND (P.  Mani)  on  his 
                  inside which in turn passed it on to SOUTHERN MAGIC (P. 
                  Ramesh) along the rails approaching the 900 Metres. 
        
                       STAR  IMAGE (K. Narasimha) was impounded  for  ve-
                  terinary examination.  The Veterinary Officer on exami-
                  nation reported that it was found to have sharp  molars 
                  on  both sides of jaws.  Trainer Mr. R.V.  Manohar  was 
                  informed  to get checked by his Veterinarian  and  take 
                  appropriate  corrective measures before accepting  with 
                  it again.

        Permission  was granted to trainers M/s. Karan Singh & N.A.  Pon-
        nappa  to deputise on behalf of trainers M/s. S. Ganapathy  &  B. 
        Prithviraj respectively were unable to attend the races.
