(False Rails - Width of 4 Metres from 1600 Metres to 1000 Metres and 6.5 Metres from 1000 Metres to the winning post.) 1st Race: 218. The B.A.R.I. Plate-Div.II-(About) 1200 Metres. 8 Runners Maiden Indian horses 3 years old only (Terms). LUNAR LUST (B. Prakash) jumped awkwardly inwards from the gates and inconvenienced SAYONARA (A. Imran Khan) on the inside. DIFFERENT OPINION (Suraj Narredu) burst its blood vessels after the race. Trainer Mr. S. Narredu was informed to produce a Fitness Certificate from the Club's Veterinary Officer before accepting with it again. 2nd Race: 219. The B.A.R.I. Plate-Div.I-(About) 1200 Metres. 8 Runners Maiden Indian horses 3 years old only (Terms). DYNAMIC TREND (S. Babu) ran detached from the field. Trainer Mr. Karan Singh was informed to ensure that his charge was capable of better performance in future. Trainer Mr. S. Santosh Rao was questioned regard- ing the running of his charge SPARK OF CLASS in the above race. His explanations were noted and the trainer was advised to ensure consistency in the performance of his charges in future. Routine Sample was taken for analysis from the winner b f MYSTIC DANCER. 3rd Race: 220. The Anekal Plate - (About) 1400 Metres. 9 Runners Horses rated 20 to 50. Jockey A. Imran Khan, the rider of LIGHTNIN BLUES, was fined Rs.1,000/- for the excessive use of the whip on his mount during the race (1st infringement). The Stipendiary Stewards reported Jockey C. Harish to the Stewards in connection with the handling of his mount SANGINI in the above race. The Stewards held an enquiry after the last race and interviewed Jockey C. Harish and Mr. S. Inayathulla, the trainer of the horse. After deliberations, they decided to (a) severely caution trainer Mr. S. Inayathulla as to the future running of his charges; and (b) should Jockey's licence be granted to C. Harish for the season 2008-09 the same shall be remain suspended from 9-5-2008 to 18- 5-2008 (both days inclusive) for unsatisfactory riding on his mount SANGINI (Rule No.161(ii) in the above race (permitted to ride work). Routine Sample was taken for analysis from the winner dk b g MYSTIC STAR. 4th Race: 221. The Garden City Trophy - (About) 1400 Metres. 12 Runners Horses rated 60 to 90, 5 and 6 years old. ATTAIN (K.P.G. Appu) could not get a clear run soon after jumping out of the starting gate due to crowding of the field. Jockey Mohammed Shoaib, the rider of EISTEIN, reported that his saddle slipped after rounding the bend. On examination of the equipment after the race, Trainer Mr. Mahmood Khan was fined Rs.2,000/- for faulty saddling. CLASSICAL DANCER (A. Ashhad Asbar) sustained a cut injury on left hind tendon. ATTAIN (K.P.G. Appu) burst its blood vessels after the race. Trainer Mr. Darius Byramji was informed to produce a Fitness Certificate from the Club's Veteri- nary Officer before accepting with it again. Jockey Ashok Kumar, the rider of ASIATICUS, was reprimanded for travelling wide while rounding the bend for no apparent reason. Surprise Sample was taken for analysis from b g EINSTEIN. 5th Race: 222. The Talkad Trophy - (About) 1200 Metres. 8 Runners Horses rated 20 to 50, 6 years old only. Trainer Mr. V. Lokanath was fined Rs.500/- for using eye patch on his charge CASHFIRSTTICKETNEXT without obtaining prior permission. Subsequently the eye patch was removed before the horse left the pad- dock. Jockey Shanth Kumar, the rider of CASHFIRSTTICKET- NEXT, was fined Rs.2,000/- for not persevering with his mount during the race. Jockey K.P.G. Appu, the rider of AZAZEL, reported that his mount was lugging `in' in the last 400 Me- tres. CASHFIRSTTICKETNEXT (Shanth Kumar) sustained injury on right hock. Jockey S. Rajesh, the rider of PRINCESS EMILY, was severely reprimanded for dropping his hands before passing the winning post. Trainer Mr. B. Prithviraj was questioned regarding the relatively improved performance of his charge LOOK ALIKE (Md. Shafiq) the winner of this race as compared to its previous run in Race No.173 of the Bangalore Winter Meeting 2007-08 i.e. The Amazing Grey Plate- (About) 1200 Metres, for horses 20 to 50, 5 & 6 years old on 16-2-2008 when ridden by the same rider it ran unplaced. The trainer stated that the horse was running in an age group and in a relatively poor company after a gap of more than a month since its last run and attributed these reasons for the performance of his charge in the above race. His explanations were noted. Surprise Sample was taken for analysis from the winner ch m LOOK ALIKE. 6th Race: 223. The N.E. Raymond Memorial Stakes - (About) 1600 9 Runners Metres. Horses rated 40 to 70, 5 and 6 years old. STAR OF EXCELLENCE (C. Krishnan) was slowly away and lost few lengths at the start. In view of its behaviour trainer Mr. B. Puttanna was informed that he must not accept with it again until its behaviour improved to the satisfaction of the Stipendiary Ste- wards in one jump out on a starting gate practice day. AUCHINLECH (Faraz Waheed) was slowly away and lost few lengths at the start. In view of its behaviour trainer Mr. J.S.
