        1st Race:     240. The Champion Trainer Trophy-Div.II-(About)  
         9 Runners    1200 Metres. Maiden Indian horses 3 years old only
                      (Terms). 
        
                       Jockey  D. Mahendran, the rider of LADY OF  LIGHT, 
                  was  fined  Rs.1,000/- for shifting  `in'  and  causing 
                  interference to AHIRA (S. Selvaraj) on his inside which 
                  in  turn passed it on to COVER UP (R. Koch) soon  after 
                  jumping out of the gates. 
        
        2nd Race:     241. The Leading Tipster Trophy-Div.I-(About)  
        10 Runners    1400 Metres. Horses rated 00 to 30.
        
                       Jockey A. Ashok Kumar, the rider of DAWSON'S CREEK 
                  was fined Rs.3,000/- for coming `in' and causing inter-
                  ference  to  ROAD TO ROMANCE (A.R. Mani) on his  inside 
                  which  in turn passed it on to DRAUPADI (S. John)  soon 
                  after jumping out of the starting gates.   
        
                       Jockey A. Ashok Kumar, the rider of DAWSON'S CREEK 
                  was fined Rs.2,000/- for not persevering with his mount 
                  during the race. 
        
                       Permission was granted to trainer Mr. Samar  Singh 
                  to withdraw ORANGE ORCHARD (B.L. Paswan) on  veterinary 
                  grounds  as  it was found to be trotting short  on  her 
                  back due to sprained quarters and also left fore due to 
                  suspensory sprain. He was informed that he must produce 
                  a Fitness Certificate from the Club's Veterinary Offic-
                  er before accepting with it again.  
        
                       GLORY  OF  DIVINE (M.D. Praveen)  pulled  up  lame 
                  after  the race on left fore due to  sprained  fetlock. 
                  Trainer  Mr.  J.S.  Pillay was informed  that  he  must 
                  produce  a Fitness Certificate from the Club's  Veteri-
                  nary Officer before accepting with it again. 
        
                       Routine  Sample  was taken for analysis  from  the 
                  winner b g STAR NEWS. 
        
        3rd Race:     242. The Champion Jockey Trophy - (About) 1200
         8 Runners    Metres. Horses rated 20 to 50.
        
                       Permission  was  granted  to  trainer  Mr.  Sriram 
                  Komandur  to withdraw LAGO VISTA on veterinary  grounds 
                  as  it was found to be trotting lame on right fore  due 
                  to  sprained  fetlock.  He was informed  that  he  must 
                  produce  a Fitness Certificate from the Club's  Veteri-
                  nary Officer before accepting with it again. 
        
                       SHE'S  A  DIAMOND (C. Krishnan) planted  and  lost 
                  many  lengths at the start.  In view of  its  behaviour 
                  trainer  Mr. B. Puttanna was informed that he must  not 
                  accept  with it again until its behaviour  improved  to 
                  the  satisfaction  of the Stipendiary Stewards  in  one 
                  Mock Race on a race day on the race track. 


                       Jockey  Suraj  Narredu, the  rider  of  APPERTAIN, 
                  reported  that his mount was running  green  throughout 
                  the race. 
        
                       Surprise  Sample was taken for analysis  from  the 
                  winner dkb f BORN BEAUTY. 
        
        4th Race:     243. The Champion Trainer Trophy-Div.I-(About)  
         9 Runners    1200 Metres. Maiden Indian horses 3 years old only
                      (Terms). 
        
                       LEADING  LADY  (B.L. Paswan) was slowly  away  and 
                  lost  few  lengths at the start.  In view  of  its  be-
                  haviour  trainer Mr. V. Lokanath was informed  that  he 
                  must  not  accept  with it again  until  its  behaviour 
                  improved  to the satisfaction of the  Stipendiary  Ste-
                  wards in one jump out on a starting gate practice day.
        
                       Jockey  A.R.  Mani, the rider  of  MUSIC  FOREVER, 
                  reported  that his mount was travelling  wide  rounding 
                  the final bend despite his efforts to keep it on a even 
                  course.  Trainer  Mr. S. Dominic was informed  to  take 
                  appropriate  remedial measures and also not  to  accept 
                  with  it  again  until its behaviour  improved  to  the 
                  satisfaction  of the Stipendiary Stewards in  one  Mock 
                  Race on a race day on the race track.  
        
                       Jockey  Suraj  Narredu, the  rider  of  SUCCEEDING 
                  STAR,  reported  that  his  mount  was  running   green 
                  throughout the race.
        
                       LEOPARDINO  (Vinod Shinde) sustained a cut  injury 
                  on upper lip.
        
                       LEADING LADY (B.L. Paswan) pulled up lame on  left 
                  fore.   Trainer  Mr. V. Lokanath was informed  that  he 
                  must  produce  a Fitness Certificate  from  the  Club's 
                  Veterinary Officer before accepting with it again. 
        
        5th Race:     244.The Heeroji Lad Bangalore Juvenile Million -
        14 Runners    (Grade III) (About) 1400 Metres. For 3 year old
                      Indian Horses (Foaled in 2005) (Terms).
        
                       Jockey  Samuel  Fargeat,  the  rider  of  FLEETING 
                  ARROW,  was fined Rs.1,000/- for the excessive  use  of 
                  the  whip on his mount during the race  (1st  infringe-
                  ment).
        
                       Jockey  P.S.  Chouhan, the rider  of  MAN  UNITED, 
                  reported that he could not get a clear run  approaching 
                  the 800 Metres due to a closely packed field. 
        
                       Jockey  D.M.  Grant, the rider of HILL  OF  GRACE, 
                  reported that he could not get a clear run  approaching 
                  the 800 Metres due to a closely packed field. 
        
                       ONE  (S. John) burst its blood vessels  after  the 
                  race.  Trainer Mr. Arjun Mangalorkar was informed  that 
                  he  must produce a Fitness Certificate from the  Club's 
                  Veterinary Officer before accepting with it again. 
        
                       Compulsory  Samples were taken for  analysis  from 
                  the following I, II & III placed horses viz:

                       The  Stipendiary  Stewards  reported  trainer  Mr. 
                  Darius  Byramji to the Stewards in connection with  the 
                  late  arrival of his charge ARCHIPENKO to the  paddock. 
                  The  Stewards held an enquiry after the last  race  and 
                  interviewed trainer Mr. Darius Byramji.  After deliber-
                  ations,  they  decided to severely caution  him  to  be 
                  careful in future.  
        
        6th Race:     245. The Leading Stud Trophy - (About) 1400 Metres.
        12 Runners    Horses rated 80 and above.
        
                       RED EAGLE (D.M. Grant) was examined after the race 
                  and  found  to be trotting lame on left fore due  to  a 
                  sprained knee.  Trainer Mr. S. Padmanabhan was informed 
                  that  he  must produce a Fitness Certificate  from  the 
                  Club's  Veterinary  Officer before  accepting  with  it 
                  again. 
        
                       Jockey Mohammed Shoaib, the rider of AURELIAN, was 
                  fined  Rs.1,000/- for shifting out and taking out  LAVA 
                  (C.  Krishnan)  and  GREEN BAX (Y.S.  Srinath)  on  his 
                  outside soon after the start. 
        
                       Jockey  Shobhan Babu, the rider of LIONHEART,  was 
                  fined Rs.2,000/- for shifting `out' and causing  inter-
                  ference  to FLAMING LAMBORGINI (Suraj Narredu)  on  his 
                  outside approaching the 700 Metres.
        
                       Jockey  Vinod  Shinde, the rider  of  LOGANS  RUN, 
                  reported  that his mount stumbled approaching the   700 
                  Metres. 
        
                       LOGANS  RUN (Vinod Shinde) sustained a cut  injury 
                  on right stifle.  
        
        7th Race:     246.The Leading Bookmaker Trophy - (About) 1600
        10 Runners    Metres. For horses rated 20 to 50, 5 and 6 years
                      old. 
        
                       Trainer Mr. G. Nityanand was fined a total sum  of 
                  Rs.1,000/- for making error in the starting declaration 
                  in  respect  of his charges CARIBBEAN PIRATE  and  STAR 
                  BLUE.
        
                       Jockey  Shobhan Babu, the rider of  CARIBBEAN  PI-
                  RATE, reported that his mount was hanging `out' in  the 
                  straight. Trainer Mr. G. Nityanand was informed to  get 
                  it  checked  by his Veterinarian and  take  appropriate 
                  corrective measures before accepting with it again. 
        
        8th Race:   247. The Leading Owner Trophy - (About) 1400 Metres.
         9 Runners    Horses rated 40 to 70.
        
                       Jockey Vinod Shinde, the rider of BASTIAN BAY, was 
                  reprimanded  for  not  maintaining  a  straight  course 
                  approaching the 200 Metres. 

                       Surprise  Sample was taken for analysis from  b  f 
                  ACE ACT.
        
                       Routine  Sample  was taken for analysis  from  the 
                  winner ch g MILFORD.
        
        9th Race:     248. The Leading Tipster Trophy-Div.II-(About) 1400
        10 Runners    Metres. Horses rated 00 to 30.
        
                       Trainer  Mr. Warren Singh was fined  Rs.500/-  for 
                  making an error in the starting declaration in  respect 
                  of his charge BUCK PASSER JUNIOR as regards shoeing. 
        
                       As  Jockey  B.L. Paswan  was  certified  medically 
                  unfit  after his ride in the 4th race,  permission  was 
                  granted to trainer Mr. Samar Singh to substitute Jockey 
                  C. Krishnan to ride RECORD TIME in place of Jockey B.L. 
                  Paswan the declared rider. 
        
                       Routine  Sample  was taken for analysis  from  the 
                  winner b f STARRY VIEW. 
        
                       An  enquiry  is being held into  the  running  and 
                  riding  of KING OF GOOD TIMES trained by Mr. S.  Britto 
                  and ridden by Jockey A.R. Mani.

        Race  No.196:  The Katil Plate-Div.II-(About)  1100  Metres,  For 
                 Maiden Indian horses 3 years old only (Terms).
        
             An  enquiry  was held into the performance  of  FLAIR  QUEEN 
        (K.P.G.  Appu)  trained  by Mr. J. Babu Rao in  the  above  race.  
        After  due enquiry, the explanation tendered by the  trainer  was 
        noted.
